B I O G R A P H Y

Theed, Naboo​

Hailing from the picturesque world of Naboo, Cyrus was born into the prestigious House of Veruna. The first years of life were happy and carefree - surrounded by his family, courtiers and all the privileges of their royal pedigree. As one could expect, Cyrus was afforded the finest education and tutors that credits could afford, cultivating a voracious appetite for learning that would follow him throughout his life.

Fate, however, would not be kind to the House of Veruna.

The unexpected death of his mother shattered the unity of his family unit - and only served to precede the string of disasters that were to follow. Wrought with grief, the frequent gambling and eventual mistresses of his father had driven their branch of the family to the brink of poverty, leaving Cyrus and his siblings with only the modest, lakeside home they had inherited through their mother.

While his cousins graced the royal court of Theed and vied for political office, Cyrus and his immediate family were sequestered to the far edges of aristocratic circles - largely ignored for the shame they’d brought onto the Veruna name. It was this very loss in station - incompatible with his own sense of self-worth - that drove Cyrus’ resentment towards his father, breaking down what little remained of their relationship.

Left to his own devices, Cyrus made sport out of rebellion and quarreling with his father at every opportunity. The discovery of his own Force Sensitivity - manifesting as visions and seizures beyond his own control - was kept a closely-guarded secret, and drove him to collect any information he could regarding the histories of the Sith and Jedi.

Cyrus’ life would drastically change following his age of majority. Following a speeder accident that had been ‘mysteriously’ swept under the rug, Cyrus’ father arranged for his rebellious son to be educated on the Consortium capital of Christophsis, with none-too-discreet instructions not to return to Naboo.

Seizing his fate into his own hands, Cyrus commended the family transport and charted his own course away from Consortium space. Searching the galaxy in self-imposed exile, he eventually came across the hidden Sith Order of his studies.

Seeing an opportunity to rise above the disgraced status of his family, Cyrus charted his course of Umbara and hasn’t looked back since.
