Even Arctus had to admit that taking the slaves with them had fled his thoughts given how angry he was at the slavers and how concerned and worried he was for Ruzaan. The concern extended to Fairy Lady, truth be told, even if she was doing very well considering the nature of their mission.

Still, hearing those words from the young Togruta gave the former smuggler pause. Arctus mirrored Fairy Lady's muttered, watered down curse though his remained on the crude side and kept to himself. He supported Ruzaan along the way, not entirely feeling strained nor needing to rely more on his strength given that the younger Padawan was more on the light side. And instead of correcting Ruzaan about the monster and assuring the younger man that it might have been an illusion cast by Master Voran, Arctus simply let it slide for the moment and heeded the Togruta's warning. He didn't know what the slavers did to disorient his friend like this, and he resolved to ask once they were out of Dodge.

The two Padawans soon regrouped with the others and Arctus was quick to help Ruzaan to his seat. With a quick reminder that he would return to check on him, the former smuggler helped Fairy Lady with the freed slaves – no, they weren't slaves any longer – in any way he could. Though at Master Voran's behest, Arctus found himself gravitating towards Ruzaan and found the younger Togruta's seat already occupied by someone else.

Hazel grey scanned the ship, looking for any signs of the Togruta until he found Ruzaan huddled up in a corner. The teenager sported a look of shame, something Arctus himself was familiar with. Allowing his feet to carry him towards the first Padawan he'd made friends with, the former smuggler lowered himself until he was sitting side by side with Ruzaan. He didn't say anything, not wanting to make his friend feel more embarrassed about being captured by the slavers. He wouldn't blame Ruzaan, even if the latter would claim that it was his fault why he was captured in the first place.

Arctus was just thankful that the slavers didn't do anything awful to Ruzaan, save for a beating. If it was up to the former smuggler he would've hunted those bastards and beat them back up. But was all over, they were leaving this planet with the people they helped. That was what mattered to Arctus.

That, and everyone was safe and alive. He couldn't possibly ask for more.
