Chandrila
Unlike her sister and her staunch loyalty to the ISC, Valeska saw the benefit of leaning more pro Jedi in light of recent events. The only way for her to make her own mark was to set out on her own and go for the position of senator. Being raised royal meant she had enough political acumen to get through most situations, but campaigning was outright dangerous these days.
Valeska was raised in the shadow of her Queen sister and had no desire to experience the same with her future husband, a strictly political engagement to a man that was positioned to ascend on Onderon. Truthfully she had met the man once and he gave her cutthroat vibes, but she had been raised to expect a scripted life at all times as a princess.
Chandrila was a planet that suffered a surprising amount of Dark Sider activity since the Raze attacks . While the Jedi had done some work to bust some cultist operations, there were still terrified citizens and a lack of direction on the planet with an absent Senator. Valeska wasn’t foolish enough to show up on Coruscant to start her goodwill campaign, but Chandrila was a strategic planet to make some moves.
She was expected to be escorted by a Jedi because of the various dangers in the lower districts, which she found absurd. Though she was pro Jedi, she couldn’t fathom Dark Siders prowling the streets of a planet like Chandrila. Valeska descended down the ramp of her ship, her posture dignified and regal befitting of a princess as she prepared to meet this escort.
