Log 0001: So, they told me to keep one of these log things. I dunno why, I guess it helps with my self control? Or maybe it just keeps me occupied while I wait in this dingy little cell of a room for someone to take me up and teach me the ways of 'the force'. I find myself here, in the Jedi Monastery of Aldeeran. Lucky, actually, I didn't get shipped off to some far flung planet like Tython. Of course, it's just my luck they had a Monastery on my home planet.
Anyway, let me explain how I ended up here. I'm a born and bred Aldeeranian, I used to live with my mother Aldina and my father Nicholas, in a big city down south. We lived well, I tell you, because all I ever hear from the other padawans are big blown-up stories of deceit, the loss of their family and all other kinds of bantha crap. I mean, come on? It's bad they lost their family and all that but they don't need to broadcast it like some kind of trashy novel. Also, I don't think that many people care, and their stories are most definitely widely-exaggerated and over dramatised. I think the Jedi order should just kick all the drama queens out.
But I digress, me, Ma and Pa lived happily - Pa was a fisherman and he caught heavy takes on all the fish around our local lakes. Lived in a big fancy town house, it was real pretty. Soon enough, however, I fell in with a 'bad crowd'. Bunch of kids who liked to deal in illegal substances, y'know? After a while, Ma and Pa found out. They were pretty damn angry, as was I. I'd been told the whole time they were legal hallucinogens!
I suppose I get angry a lot. I think it's something to do with that my frustrations build up and up until boom! But, I use my negative emotions in a constructive way. To get revenge, usually. Now that I am a Jedi I should probably use them in a more positive constructive way - like I've always wanted to. I mean, I had morals and good intentions I just didn't have the means to do so I guess. Now I've been accepted into this fancy pants order I guess I can.
I think that rules and regulations are bogus. If someone wants to do a greater good, they should do it with compassion, not some rules they probably don't even personally understand. I mean, I've heard of the dark side and it seems like only idiots and lunatics would willingly commit themselves to something like that.
To cut a long story short, I was caught levitating some sticks out in my garden by a Jedi Master, and whisked off to the empty Jedi Monastery of Alderaan. Pretty fun, spent my time practising and building my own lightsaber and stuff. Anyway, to cut another dull story short, the monastery is being revolutionised by unorthodox Jedi Master Seamus Móidín, who just by the chance saw my untapped potential and took me as a padawan!
Wow, good luck to me I guess. For the good of the galaxy and all that crap.
