lets just have a good fun fight whoever so rules:
  • Deaths Allowed (Unless they give up then no deaths)
  • If the opponent gives up, fights over
  • Swords, lightsabers, and blasters only
Lord Artyr stepped into the dueling ring with his Sith Sword held tightly in his right hand, just hanging there freely.. His hood covered his deathly face from being seen by the general public as he awaited an opponent to enter the ring..

A figure walks before the Sith. He looked straight forward but at nothing in particular. In fact he saw nothing in front of him, minus through the Force. Truthfully he could see the Sith with clarity. His sword hung on his left side. It was cortosis woven, thus could hold itself against a lightsaber.

He stood awaiting the Sith to make the first move. He would stand there forever awaiting a move without attack.

No matter who the man was, he was in the ring.. Old, or young, he would suffer the same fate as any other man.. Lord Artyr's personally crafted Sith Sword rose to the side with both hands tightly gripping the hilt as he ran at his opponent.. Artyr's speed was great, considering it was not force enhanced, the great thing about the fight was that Artyr had a chance to test his strength outside of the forces powers.. For he was a beast of the darkside. His skills as a Lettow paid off although as he never learned the force then but was still a master swordsman as his blade swung madly for the man's left side.. The thing about the attack though, was that Artyr swung with his left hand, going outwards in sort of a 'backhander', giving Artyr an opening to kick the man in any open area right after the swing, aiming more towards the knee caps with the kick.. The sword acting more as lure to draw the mans defences away..

ooc: check your mail

Nygle, who was the figure, had been waiting and listening for the attack. When it came he was ready. As the Sith came near he unsheathed his own sword, tossing one half to his right and keeping the other in his left. He "saw" both the attack from the sword and the kick with clarity and moved to defend agaist it. With one swift move he sidesteps to avoid the sword should his parry fail, and swings both of his blades as one; the left aiming to parry the Sith's weapon, the other to do the same yet sever the leg if it remained in motion.

ooc: yea man im cool with that or itd be cheap..

Lord Artyr's attacks were parried, but his leg was in trouble.. His only option was to throw his leg down in it's midswing to avoid the man's counter attack.. Throwing his leg down although made his body move in a similar motion as he moved forward, but that was bad.. It would give the man an opening to attack from the motion, and it forced Artyr to roll opposite of the man's side step with his left leg if only to avoid a second counter attack.. Getting up quickly a few feet from the man, he turned to face him with his sword held forward with one hand.. Waiting to see the man's offencesive style..

ooc: im reeeally tired right now man from hockey so if you found that one cheap i'll edit it in the morning cause im hitting the bed (after the plans of course haha)

The move of the Sith was a smart thing, and probably what most martial artist would prescribe. Nygle only turned in order to face another assault. Truthfully he wasn't really sure who he was fighting, except for what he was told before the fight. He just knew he was there and it made no difference to him to know more about his opponent before fighting him.

The Sith was this time waiting for the strike. Swiftly, yet gracefully, he charged at his opponent. As he approached the other he started a swing, again the two blades acted as one. Both followed the same path. Both were sent upwards in a diagonal; the right knee to the left shoulder. However the strike would make contact just below the right armpit.

The attack was pretty strong so far.. But having a diagonal attack going upwards that high would lower the man's defence if it was dodged.. And it was dodged, Lord Artyr made a movement to his left as if he was about to get in form for a cart-wheel but his feet staying firm on the ground and his body twisting towards the mans. His right arm went up and around to avoid having the man's blades slice his side like that while right after in a fluid motion bringing it inwards. That gave Artyr a golden chance, the man's blades were swung high, that would move the mans body towards that direction and Artyr was practically crouching to make a hole in the man's defences.. Lord Artyr's Sith sword was aiming to slice right into the man's defenceless side, underneath the man's overswing, almost garunteeing the man's death, but it left Artyr defenceless also, that didn't matter though, cause there was no apparent way that the man could block and counter, just a way to evade the attack if he could even do that..

Nygle himself hated to make the first move. This was the reason. Luckily for him, he also hated to be off balance. Although he knew that it could taken advantage of, he prefered to continue moving in a charge rather than suddenly stopping. He was already past his opponent when he missed in his strike. Though as he fassed the Sith he could see the beginning of a strike. Knowing the best and easiest counterattack would be aimed low he lept slightly off the ground and rolled forward, as if he was trying to jump over a ball of air. He refused to take a risk.
