Dash Pavan's Jedi Armor

Jedi Knight Dash Pavan eschewed armour throughout his early years in the Order. Small, quick and light on his feet, he found he could dodge or outmanoeuvre most threats and never felt a pressing need to layer up with more protection.

Everything changed in his first encounter with the Sith and following his Knighting he took the risk of death or injury far more seriously.

Bringing together practical additions together with cosmetic elements unique to him, Dash has fashioned a basic set of light armour that provides increased protection while not overly restricting his movement or use of the Force. Beginnng with one Anakkona hide shoulder pauldron, gifted by Leon Baudelaire, he has purchased a second to complete the look.

LEGALITY

Legal, nothing in the armor is outrageous or strange. It possesses no overt Jedi markings, not giving him away on its own.

INTENT

For Dash to have a clearly defined personal suit of armor.
Type and Coverage

Type: Light

Coverage: Light coverage

  • Torso: Lightweight removeable duraplast plate inserts
  • Upper Arms: Duraplast shoulder pauldrons, Anakkona scale covering, and left upper arm guard
  • Lower Arms: Phrik gauntlets covering wrists and forearms only

Functions
Function 1: Armorweave accessory (cape)
  • The light shoulder cape contains armorweave, providing some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered high velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds).
Function 2: Grapple line
  • The grapple line is capable of supporting the weight of 1-2 people and can launch up to ranges typically up to 15 meters away. Once no longer in use, it is detached from the launcher and left behind. Must be manually activated and controlled using the launcher affixed to Dash's utility belt.
Function 3: Computer Spike
  • Computer spikes are used to forcibly decrypt or unlock computer terminals. Most civilian systems can be cracked in one posting round, while most military or hardened systems take two or more.
