It's a fair take and not one that disinterested me. I just don't know how believable it's going to be for the Republic to want to ignore the Sith threat I guess. It would be the equivalent of the New Republic ignoring the 1st Order in Episode 8.

To be fair, the thing with the New Republic is that they basically did ignore them. Its why there was a clear separation between them and the Resistance. Basically a proxy war. It's kind of like that here. I remember one of the admins, I think Boli, said that the Senate was basically ignoring the Sith since their return would bring panic across the Republic. So they've been officially denying their existence for years. The BA, however, has been at the front of this, fighting an enemy the government denies existing.

All this bigger picture stuff is for the think tank and we'll know whether or not we agree with it with the faction presentation. I'm sure they've read all your opinions and will take them in account. For now, whether you're a Bandomeer farmer boy or a Mandalorian killing machine, let's take Czerka as example and try our own PM-Roleplay.

Personally I know we're all creative enough to make the BA work whatever it looks like and the PM-Roleplay would be perfect for people to show that Mandalorians can actually fit in the BA. As such I'd propose a social interaction on Bandomeer between soldiers of different homeworlds, culminating in a suprise attack on the town and forcing them to work together without the orders (and interference) of High Command.

Unfortunately, I have no idea who will be in the BA to tag all of them. Mandalorians, even those that currently don't think they'll join the BA, are welcome too. @TAC would you like to join as your senator represents Bandomeer and has a military history?

For the record, the Accord started PM Roleplays several months ago : 3

Are we still on the Mandos/BA thing? I mean hell if y'all start planning instead of arguing then something might be achieved out of this thread.

Why don't we change the topic to character ideas, or some other shit.

Strangely enough, I believe @Silverface is trying to work something out for the Mandalorians and BA. I've seen some of it, and it's looking pretty solid.

I'm all for the Mandos in the BA. My whole philosophy is "Why the hell not?"

But I think that ship has already sailed And that topic has been beat to death with no side giving an inch.

We'll have to wait for the Think Tank to finish tackling it to say for sure, but with where it is on the map, and that the idea seemed to have a lot of support in the thread it was announced, it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume they play a decent sized role in the whole thing.

As for characters, IDK yet. If Mandalore being in the senate falls through, I might do something with the BA like Starfighter Squadron stuff, because Starfighter Squadrons are awesome or go SBZ since they look like they could use some people.

I wouldn't be so sure. I was a very, ahem, vocal opponent to it. However, I really like what I've seen already. Of course I can't speak for others, but that's just my own thoughts on the matter.

I wonder if there could be a group of Jedi in the Boarder Alliance, kind of like Revanites of this timeline. Jedi who decided that protecting the boarder worlds and thereby the Republic was more important than the Jedi Agenda.

I kind of agree here. I mean, isn't that what the Jedi do already?

They did in the Clone Wars. But in this timeline they have their own space, their own fleet, their own army and their own agenda. It makes sense that they will make war on the Sith, it doesn't make sense that they would prioritize the protection of the Boarder Alliance.
