The First Kingdom

Faction Goals OCC & IC

OCC: My main goal of creating the faction is to create an Indie faction which is not just based around a collective idea but a fully fleshed out culture. Much like the Mandolorians (just better in everyway). And to allow people to explore this culture with their characters as much as contribute to the faction and the wider SWRP galaxy. The culture is constantly evolving and expanding as this is a whole world with thousands of years of history and everyone who joins can contribute ideas to it. The faction is open to all types of characters and alignments, including light siders, dark siders, soldiers and farmers.

IC: The goals of The First Kingdom are split into two sections which will be reflected in its missions, it has its Space Goals and its Planet Goals. The planet goals and subsequent missions will be to expand The First Kingdom's influence and power across its home continent and then across the entire planet, by defeating or persuading the rest of the planets Earls, Kings and local townsfolk. The space goals and subsequent missions will be revolved around setting up The First Kingdom to expand beyond the planet, by both capturing ships, valuables and slaves to help the planet goals, transporting priests to nearby worlds to start the conversion of the local populace and by forcefully neutralizing local planets defense forces allowing The First Kingdom to conquer them.

The overall aim to make The First Kingdom into the largest Indie faction we can and to make a difference in the wider galaxy.

Troska History & Culture

Situated in the Outer Rim, Troska has two major differences to the rest of the galaxy. First it has never known or accepted democracy and secondly its religion. A pantheon of Gods from the Sky God Kor to the God of Rivers Majori rule over the lives of the every day Troskan. For the past one thousand years the planet has been in a near state of constant war between the countries on its surface with one never taking precedence over the others. The zealous and devoted Troskan's have shunned the outside galaxy and as such never sought help from other parties.

Slavery is a major aspect of Troskan society, Thrall's as they are called are brought into slavery due either debt, war plunder or the children of previous thralls. Thralls in Troska have no legal rights and their living conditions are variable depending on the master. The thrall trade as the prize of plunder was a key part of the Troskan economy. While there are sometimes as many as thirty slaves per household, most families only owned one or two slaves. Thralls could be freed by their masters at any time, be freed in a will, or even buy their own freedom. Once a thrall was freed he became a freedman. They still owed allegiance to his former master, though gained the legal rights of a normal citizen. It takes at least two generations for freedmen to lose the allegiance to their former masters and become full freemen. If a freedman had no descendants, his former master inherited his land and property. Killing of a another man's slave for any reason demands a payment to his master for his loss, if nothing is paid then the slave's master may take two slaves from the offender as payment instead.

The culture of the Troskan's is based upon three pillars of kinship, religion and war.

The first pillar kinship is an essentia lpart of Troskan society tying small family's to large towns together. The ties of loyalty to a lord, were to the person of a lord, not to his station; there was no real concept of patriotism or loyalty to a cause and a kingdom was only as strong as its leader-king. Stronger aspects of kinship has led to blood feuds, as kinsman are obliged by their honor to seek justice or revenge for a murder of a family members.

The second pillar religion is the one binding element that almost all inhabitants of Troska share, the number of gods which are worshiped are hard to name as some are only worshiped in small communities across the globe. Though there are a few holy sites to the Troskan's most worship is done in the home or upon the battlefield were a sacrifice is made to which ever god is needed. Troskan's also practice the worship deceased relatives calling down the strength of fathers and grand fathers before battle or the wisdom of mothers whilst giving birth.

The third pillar is war, both men and women train for battle from childhood though men normally go to war alone. There is no active standing army in any of the Troskan nations but instead each Lord has his own loyal retainers which he summons when needed. Weapons and armor are varied with the wealthy better equipped than the poor. Blasters are used during opening engagements but normally only to wound as it is seen as more honorable to kill a man in close combat and a more fitting tribute to the God of War Shia.

The First Kingdom's History

The birth of what is know called The First Kingdom began with the current King Marcus Artorson's grandfather Alverus. An Earl in his own right, he came to his title at the age of sixteen and still wet around the ears. With the threat of losing many of his fathers men to other nearby Earl's Alverus gathered a few men and launched a raid on a nearby Earl, sacking his capital and killing him in single combat. Earning him his first victory as Earl, new land, new retainers and finally a wife. Over the following twenty years he slowly expanded his influence and power across the continent, crushing Earl after Earl and two Kingdoms. At forty years old he finally crowned himself king. Unfortunately his sudden rise had created two other kingdoms as Earls rallied together in fear, instead of going in a head on war Alverus decided to wait knowing that the alliance would eventually fall. He would spend the next years consolidating his lands, wealth and power.

On the eve of the alliance's collapse Alverus died in his sleep just over the age of fifty after contracting a virus. In his wake two of his sons laid claim to the throne, his eldest Kjartanand his youngest and Marcus's father Rorik. What came next was a bitter fight, which wrecked half of Alverus's kingdom and killed two of his sons Kjartan and his middle son Orxt who had sided with Rorik. Rorik spent the majority of his reign retaking what had been lost, keeping rebelling Earl's in order and looking to the stars. After another alliance threatened to stop advancement of The First Kingdom Rorik, began to raid nearby worlds for plunder and glory whilst awaiting the alliance's fall. It was upon one of this raids that Rorik died after his ship was hit by a torpedo and vented atmosphere.

Thus came to the thrown a young Marcus Artorson only eighteen he was threatened just like both his father and grandfather to lose his kingdom before he even begun. But he was different to the others, a force-sensitive he used his power in the force to bend an Earl to his knees before his entire court with the force. He then left for space attacking three ships heading for the nearby world of Cirrus, winning him wealth, renown and slaves. Returning to his court he took fealty from each of his earls before announcing that his kingdom would be known as The First Kingdom of Troska. Over the next five years Marcus has dedicated himself to expanding the kingdom and his powerbase.

Ranks & Structure

The First Kingdom's rank structure is set into two sections, the first and the beginning section is the royal court. All new members of The First Kingdom begin as members of the court. Beginning as a Royal Retinue, then advancing Royal Guard. Once in the Royal Guard a member of the court can be elevated to the rank of Earl and gain his own land, power and men.

To advance through the ranks a member must gain renown, this can be done through a number of ways including, faction missions, raids and PvP interactions. Once a member reaches the rank of Earl, further renown will increase their standing in comparison to other Earls along with the size of their personal retinue.

Troska Missions: Missions involving expanding The First Kingdom's control over the planet of Troska. These will mainly be conquest missions though some diplomatic ones will also be involved.

The North Push:
The First Kingdom has been sat to long within its current borders and now King Marcus is looking to expand his domain. To the North lies the Earldom of Ricchetag a pesky Earldom which has decided to spur Marcus's polite proposal to bend the knee and become part of his Kingdom, instead he has began mustering his men ready to strike. And we must strike first.
Mission Objective: Take your personal guard along with one hundred of the Royal Guard and attack the keep of Ricchetag, removing the Earl from his seat either dear or alive.

The Western Island:
Earl Wagnar's land border the Kingdom through the narrow strip of land to the west, beyond lies a grand island its ore veins running deep. However Earl Wagnar has seen the power and wealth that comes with being an Earl under Marcus and such wishes to join the Kingdom through peaceful means and swear a blood oath to Marcus. However the treacherous Kingdom of Nortan also seeks the riches of Wagnar's land and the land bridge into the kingdom and as such sends its own representative laden with gold to secure Wagnar's oath.
Mission Objective: Head to Earl Wagnar's hall and convince him to take a blood oath with Marcus, deal with the Nortan men as you please but do not entice or threaten Wagnar as he is a proud man and a strong warrior. Once he has agreed bring him back to the capital to swear his oath.

Dantus Missions: Missions involving expanding The First Kingdom's influence outside of its home planet of Troska, these will involve raids, diplomatic missions to other factions, slave trades and land grabs.

We Raid:
Power comes from Glory and Wealth. Both of these are needed to make the Kingdom strong and what better way than to take what the weak cannot defend. On the ice planet of Deadon lies a number of towns ripe for the picking, there expensive thermal equipment will sell well on the black market and slaves always make money.
Mission objective: Take two Langskip's to the planet of Deadon, pillage and plunder and return what you take to Troska.

First Kingdom Feasts

A large part of the Troskan society and that of The First Kingdom is its yearly feasts. These are to celebrate particular gods or times of year and involve, good food, better drink, entertainment and the occasional fist fight. In an RP standpoint these are the social threads hosted by Marcus to allow all members of The First Kingdom and potentially visiting characters the opportunity to mingle and talk outside of a mission.

As part of our pre-time skip warm up here is the feast of Omantide.
Omantide

"Omantide celebrates the end of the harvest time and is the beginning of build up to the end of year feast of Yaltide."

Weapons & Technology

Troska is at the same technological level as majority of the rest of the galaxy, though it often tends not to use it to its full potential. The main differences are in warfare and some medical practices which tie close to the Troskan's religious practices, were herbs and sacrifices take the place of bacta. Due to the Troskan's belief's that killing a man in hand to hand is more honorable, the majority of warfare is carried out with bladed weapons including, one handed and two handed swords, battle axes, maces, spears and daggers all made from composite metals forged on Troska. The Troskan's do use ranged weaponry including blaster rifles, pistols and cannons though they are rarer to see and are normally carried encase of a confrontation with an off-worlder. A few hundred years ago during a series of great battles between rival Earl's one began to cement his place by using more blasters, to counter this the Troskan's developed a combat shield which can absorb blaster fire. This is now a main staple of First Kingdom Royal Retinue.

Brondir Weapons.

Purpose: Give the First Kingdom a unique weapon that can compete with the other vibrostyle weapons of the galaxy. Also to give us an answer to lightsabers that fit within the over style of the faction.

Materials: Troskan steel, Carbanite crystals(grounded)

Description: Brondir weapons can come in many shapes and sizes from daggers all the way up to massive battle axes and great swords. Still very useful in their off state, the weapons are nearly indestructible and will not lose their edge or break. The weapons tend to be a bit on the slower and heavier side though. In their “ignited” state the weapons can cut or pierce anything but the strongest of armor. The weapons can only remain in their ignited state for about an hour before needing to be recharged which takes about another hour. The unique composition of the weapons makes them lightsaber resistant as the blades absorb most of the heat created by the saber upon contact.

History: The Brond Weapons of the First Kindom were first discovered generations ago by an intrepid blacksmith who wanted to make a name for himself. Always looking for new ways to impress the Earls of the court, Jortun was experimenting with new ways of shaping the metal for his weapons. Using traditional Troskan steel he would shape the metal for a blade. He would then imbue the blade with finely ground crystals(these were actually Carbonite crystals) found in the cold northern continents of Troska. He found that the combination made a blade that was nearly indestructible, never lost its edge, and could withstand a tremendous amount of heat without warping the blade. These qualities were a blessing and a curse as it meant that any weapons made using this technique had to be completed quickly, and with no mistakes on the first attempt. Thus these weapons became very expensive with only members of the court or higher even being able to afford one.

Thus these weapons became the signature weapons of the Troskan court, who loved the fact that the crystals added a sparkling finish to their weapons. As time went on and technology advanced blasters came to Troska. During this time many began to adopt blasters a part of their armories leading to a brief reduction in the use of melee weaponry as they simply could cause more damage. Though many in the higher ranks of society refused to abandon their weapons. So many demanded of their smiths to find a way to try and create melee weapons that could meet blaster technology standards.

Thus began an era where almost every smith and Troska began work on technologically advanced weapons. Their efforts proved fruitless for many years until a smith from a relatively small decided to try and take advantage of the Troskan metal/crystal alloy’s ability to absorb tremendous amounts of heat. Placing a small power generator inside the hilt of an axe. He sit the generator to produce heat. He would then run conduits to the blade of the axe. Upon completion he activated the genarator and the blade grew hotter and hotter until finally it glowed bright yellow as if coming fresh out of the forge. Testing the axe proved his theory correct that even after repeated use the axe still kept its shape and edge and with the added heat could cut through almost anything with ease. Thus the first Brondir(Heat/Fire) Weapon was born. The weapons were an instant hit with the royals and even began to see sporadic use in the lower classes if one could afford one. Upon being asked of his name the smith who created the weapon said, “My name is Ulfrok son of Yslmor. My great great grandfather was the smith known as..Jortun.” Thus many felt that this was a circle completed and that these new weapons must surely be gifts from the gods themselves.
Affiliation: The First Kingdom
Ownership: Royal Guard, Earls
Intent: The Kveykvaskjǫldr (Light-Shield), is an evolving part of the Troskan fighting style and is slowing becoming a defining feature of The First Kingdom. A Kveykvaskjǫldr is only given to men who serve in the Royal Guard and the First Kingdom Earls who can afford them.

Model: Kveykvaskjǫldr
Weight: 3.6 KG

Composition: A metal alloy with small amounts of Phrjk allowing the metal to slow down a lightsaber but not completely stop it. It is also resistant to metal slugs up to a certain caliber and blast damage. Over the front face a small rim protrudes which produces a small energy shield across the face. The energy shield can deflect blaster bolts and lightsaber attacks to a degree.

Rating: Kveykvaskjǫldr is slowly designed to take a beating and as such can hold out well against most attacks.

Vs. Blasters - The energy shield can hold under random and non sustained fire for at least an hour before depleting its energy cell. Under sustained fire it can last at the most fifteen minutes. The physical shield can take two or three hits before it begins to melt and needs to be thrown away.

Vs. Kinetic's - The physical shield can hold under random and non sustained slug fire for about thirty minutes before breaking apart and can hold two to three blasts from a nearby explosive before falling. Under sustained fire it can last between five to eight minutes before beginning to break up. All kinetics pass straight through the energy shield.

Vs.Lightsaber - The energy shield can take about fifteen to twenty light hits from a lightsaber before complete failing. The physical shield only one or two if the user is lucky.

Description: The standard Kveykvaskjǫldr, is painted with the house seal of Marcus Artorson, however Earls who own these shields have there own seal instead. On the face of the shield a raised lip about 5mm surrounds the edge and this were the energy shield is produced from. On the back side the two main elements are the three straps which are used to hold the shield and the power source for the energy shield. The power source itself is able to be replaced mid battle to allow extended use of the shield. Each power cell is about 0.5 kg's.
Troska & The Galaxy

Toska both shuns and is shunned by the wider galaxy mainly due to their religion and warlike nature. Many who visit the world only do so once as many priests stalk the areas surrounding the planets few spaceports hoping to convert whoever they can find. Due to this there is not much trade with the wider galaxy.

Troska, The Force & Religion

The Force is not called The Force on Troska and instead referred to as a gift of the gods and as such many who have the force relay on only their base abilities and do not seek to grow them further. Many of those who are force sensitive become priests and use their talents to further the wills of the gods and help convert those who visit Troska.
Réf’stol God of Justice

Domain: Réf’stol(Réf-stole) is the God of Justice

Origin/History: Contrary to Troska’s warlike and slightly barbaric nature, Troskans actually have a very complex system of law. This likely comes from the beginnings of Troskan culture; where a sword, a shovel, wood, or a life meant the village living or dying. If one of these things were to be taken it was considered an affront to the entire village as it meant an individual putting themselves before the many. Though since in these times every life was considered necessary to survive it meant that any accusations had to be backed up by considerable evidence. This led to a system of law that required very in-depth investigations into any crime, usually involving the members of the entire village, and a lengthy court trial. Though usually a verdict of guilty always ended in either death or banishment into the harsh Troskan wilderness.

This as with much of Troskan culture led many to begin to look to the divine for guidance in these matters of law. Many began to offer prayers before a trial to hope the truth could be found. This god slowly came to the name Réf’stol. Taking many forms and names, though many agreed that she possessed a terrible gaze, and that if it befel you; you would immediately confess to every wrong of your life. Also she was generally depicted as carrying a shield and axe. The shield believed to deflect all deceit and lies and the axe to merit out justice to the guilty.

As Troskan society advanced so to did their legal system and their beleif and the divine Réf’stol. Her Worship grew planet wide, until she was eventually believed to be the divine leader of the Troskan police and legal system. Usually a large statue can be found of her in front of every court house on Troska. Many offering a solemn bow before her before entering under her intense gaze, said to pierce even the most convincing lies.

Purpose: As described above Réf’stol is the god of justice and law of Troska. Any lawman, or guard is trained under the belief that they were choosen to keep the peace of Troska as Réf’stol’s chosen weapons.

Offerings: Offerings to Réf’stol or usually actually given after a trial. Usually after Troskan justice has been seen, part of the evidence or all of it depending on the severity of the crime. This is believed to thank Réf’stol for her role in seeing the truth, and to say that her services are no longer needed. This way she can turn her gaze to other matters of justice. In some extreme case, the guilty’s head is placed opon the dias of her statue and left for all to see the price of crime.
Domain: Solarna(soul-r-na) is the god of the Sun and Stars

Origin/History: Worship of the sun has existed on Troska almost from the beginning of time. Troskans realized very early that the sun was vital to their survival as a people. It was what helped their crops grow, what brought them warmth during the harsh Troska winters, and what helped them see many of the natural threats around them. Thus the Troskans began to greatly revere the sun. It wasn’t until later that many holymen began to take closer looks into the sky using more advanced telescopes. Realizing that the many stars in the sky were simply other suns.

It was upon this discovery that many claimed that the many suns in the sky couldn’t simply be a coincidence and that they must have a divine meaning. It was around this time that many begain to offer prayers and gifts to a yet un named entity that must control the rising and falling of the sun and the movement of the stars. It was a small but growing village that named this force as Solarna. This name quickly spread through many communities..including one area that would eventually come to be the seat of The First Kingdom.

Worship of Solarna remained important to most of Troska. Eventually garnering many names, though still serving the same purpose. Even to a point where Solarna became god of the sky as well believing that any where the sun fell was Solarna’s domain.

Purpose: Most Troskans beleive Solarna is responsible for the rise and fall of the sun and the movement of the stars. They beleive him to be high in the pantheon of the gods, not above the god of time, but more than likely his sibling. Now as space travel has become available to Troskans many offer Solarna prays before departing believing that he also controls their fortunes while offworld.

Offerings: Typical offerings to Solarna are made up burning an avian creature in a small dias. These offerings were meant represent Solarna’s place as lord of the sky. The burning is beleived to be only way to cummune with Solarna as the being can only consume fire(it’s believed that a star disappearing from the night sky is Solarna feeding)

Alternative offering could include firing burning arrows into the sky, or floating food up on small balloons that would be set to burn at a certain height.

These offerings were meant to appease Solarna so that the Troskan sun would not be eaten. In current times when offerings are made they are usually meant to insure a safe journey through space as the sky is Solarna’s domain.

(Sub note, Troska is a legends planet with little background, only that a monarchy once ruled the planet.)

This is actually based on more Saxon England than Viking Scandinavia, though of course the two cultures clashed a lot.

@Lav Savak if you want any more info ping me a PM

True true. Still can't wait to end some fools with a battleaxe. I'll definitely be up for leading some of those planet side missions.

Personally, I've always found the ancient Celtic Gaels, Saxons, Celtic Gauls and the Nordic tribes to all be very similar, both in lifestyles and in elements of their values / mythologies. I find them all interesting all the same, though

Well there was a lot interchanging between all of the above so they are bound to be similar. The only thing which differentiated some of these was religion, which was one of the main elements I wanted to concentrate with the faction as well.

Yo all, just wanted to post this up for anybody who's interested. It's the initial write up for our faction specific weapons;
Write up for Brondir Weapons.

Yo guys figured I'd post a rough draft of my new character for the faction to give people a flavor for the faction!.

Name: Strom Galdr

Faction: The First Kingdom

Rank: Earl

Species: Human

Age: 26

Gender: Male

Height: 6’2”

Weight: 250lbs

Eyes: Grey

Hair: Black

Skin: Tan

Credits: 1,000

Distinguishing Marks: Hair is long and made into tight braids

Force Sensitive: Yes

Strength: Strom is about as strong as a human can hope to be. His years at the forge and his time in almost constant combat training and battle have honed his body into a mountain of lean muscle.

Dexterity: Years of learning the Dance of the Axe and working the intricate carvings of his work at the forge have shaped Strom into having nimble fingers. Though he wouldn’t make for a great thief or spy due to his size, he can perform some dazzling maneuvers during combat.

Constitution: Strom tends to grit his teeth and get through just about any pain due to his size and the constant heat of the forge. However, he tends to take emotional lost quite hard though.

Intelligence: He was formally trained to learn reading, writing, and arithmetic. Though Strom tended to shy away from learning about the politics and intrigue of the court.

Wisdom: Still relatively young, most of Strom’s wisdom comes from what he’s learned from his people about treating others.

Charisma: Can usually win any one over with a flash of his smile and quick salute. Also seems to not be able to retain others ire; if he ever does cause offense he is usually quickly forgiven.

Personality: To understand Strom’s personality you first must understand his House: House Galdr. House Galdr was always a bit of an oddity. They captured thralls like all houses of Troska, though as soon as they reached Galdr territory they freed the Thralls. After this the freed men or women would be given quarters and paid a fare wage. Galdrs saw their servants as gifts from the Gods and thus they were to be treated with respect and treated as well as any member of the court. Galdr also produced some of the finest warriors of Troska, but they believed in not raising their weapons unless a worthy cause or serious insult comes there way.

Growing up under this way of life shaped Strom into a laid back caring man, that is slow to anger. He typically can win most people over with his winning smile and charm, since most have trouble staying angry at him due to his laid back attitude. Though despite his charm he tends to shy away from the finery of the court life. Usually preferring to spend his time with the troops, practicing his combat skills, or at the forge perfecting his art.

He is however quick to act if a friend or loved one is in need, brandishing his Brondir Axe against foes of the Kingdom or any he sees as innocent. This is actually one of the driving goals that led Strom and his people to join the First Kingdom; figuring a unified Troska would lead to a better life for all it’s people. In the end Strom follows his people's will as an Earl, usually bringing the voice of the unheard to the court and perhaps hope that someday, if The First Kingdom is successful, that he won’t be needed for that role.

Biography: Strom Galdr was one of the lucky few of Troska that was born into the upper class. Born the son of Felgot of House Galdr, Strom benefitted from the many advantages of being the son of an Earl. He was trained to read, write, ride, and most importantly to his house, Fight. House Galdr was well known over Troska for producing some of the finest warriors on the planet. Strom was no exception taking easily to his training. Strom was also taught the art of the forge as House Galdr is considered to be the finest weapon's smiths of Troska. It was infact a smith of House Galdr which discovered and made the very first Brondir Weapon. Due to most Galdr’s having dark skin some even joke that upon creation the gods rolled them in the soot of elder forges.

When Strom was around 15 year's of age, the First Kingdom sent its army to the borders of House Galdr. Instead of meeting them on the battlefield, House Galdr welcomed them with open arms. The First Kingdom had been buying Brondir weapons from Strom’s house for years, so Stroms father felt there was no reason not to join The First Kingdom. Reasoning that they could gain even more renown conquests and thralls. This Action would have a profound impact on Strom as it would expose him to the more formal members of the Troskan Court, as his family tended to be much more laid back when it came to formality. He now learned how to navigate the treacherous world of The First Kingdom’s halls of power, which tend to not be too kind to the more kind hearted. Strom found his niche though, using his skills at the forge to gain the favor of his new court members.

Around the time of his 21st year, he began to have dreams of a wonders Brondir Axe. He could vividly see himself destroying his enemies with ease and claiming great victories on the battlefield. He would work on this weapon for weeks believing it was a vision from the Gods. Upon completion he held the weapon and he felt that he could hear the Gods speaking and most considered the weapon a master work with few that could match it. Unbeknownst to him this was the force in him slowly awaking. He found that his visions of his victories against the enemies of the first order also held true and it was then that the King himself would explain that he was gifted by the Gods. Though due to most Troskans having limited access to offworld information Strom only uses his abilities instinctually.

After Years of loyal service and due to his special abilities Strom is promoted Royal Guard. After three more years and after his 27th year, Strom is granted Earlhood by the King himself. Swearing loyalty to the Kingdom, Strom promises to bring Troska under one powerful rule.

Force Powers:

Skills:

  • Extremely skilled melee combatant(Including axes, swords, daggers, and hand to hand)

  • Master weapon blacksmith

  • Charming

  • Decent tactical mind

  • Average shot

  • Above average pilot

Lightsaber/Sword Forms: His house taught him the style of the Dancing Axe. A style that involves almost always having the axe in motion, simultaneously creating a wall of offense and defense.

When using his sword he uses the more typical Troskan style of everystrike being a offense, even if it’s meant to be a block, always aiming to get a strike on the opponent.

Strengths and Weaknesses:

Tends to meet most challenges with a smile and gritted teeth, seldom giving up or giving in. Sees the best in most people and things and treats most of his people justily and fairly.

Though he can tend take emotional loss very hard, and His size tends to make him a bit on the slower side in combat. He tends to dislike blasters only using them if absolutely necessary

So, I'm not sure how interested you are with mingling with people from other factions early on, but here is what I was thinking.

My character is going to be a Sith gamorrean, and as a gamorrean he actually grew up somewhat similar to this factions people. Being raised to fight and place honor above all things and a person's ability to defeat enemies decided their status. However, for gamorreans intelligence and force sensitivity is seen as dishonorable and thus Gork (my character) was forced to flee.

However Gork still finds his honor to be very important and sees victory as the only way to gain back the honor he lost. This is one of the major reasons why Gork joined the Sith, as they would give him plenty of opportunities to defeat powerful enemies.

However if Gork happened to come across this faction it could be possible that he would join them. Finding them similar to his own culture minus the dishonor due to his genius intellect for his race (barely average human intelligence) and force sensitivity. The conquest of Troska with these honorable people might finally be able to outweigh his failure among his own kin.

@Vepos Surge I am really keen to get the faction involved with other factions and individuals and your character sounds like a good fit. I am sure we can sort something out in terms of a thread.

If this is still going ahead I'm looking for a 3rd character and would be happy to play a small part in this if possible! Is there anything I should know other than the stuff from the OP?
