DC universe online goes f2p

Not much else to say besides the title tbh. They decided to take the f2p route just like almost everyone else is doing these days, and now Im going to try this game out.

Have any of you played it before? And do any of you plan on trying it now that its f2p?

I hated it. You feel second fiddle constantly because they throw the DC big names in your face constantly and remind you your more or else a sidekick forever....there are many many graphical problems, very very limited opportunities in creations, and how you advance... and it really plays more like a action game you could get on any console.

mind you I am a story driven player and like feeling involved, and DCU did nothing of the sort there.

imho the better super hero games are champions and city of heros...and dare I say I had more fun playing superhero squad online for my youngest son.
