Tourniquet sat on the couch, feet propped up on the table. He loved his quarters.

It was all white.

The walls, the carpet, the flooring, the chairs, the tables, the lamps - even the lighting was almost void of color. What wasn't white was a pale silver metal, either accenting some part of the furniture or making up some part of it. The only other color was the hilts of the knives in the couple display cases and the one or two slugthrowers leaned up against one corner. All the furniture was stylish and trendy - when you've been a physician for a few years you can afford to keep up with the times - while being comfortable.

Just because you're a Dark Jedi doesn't mean you can't have some creature comforts.

Besides, a man's allowed his quirks. He thought with a grin. Himself? He wore all black - he looked best in that. Very comfortable, baggy pants, no shoes, sleeveless shirt. His dark glasses were hanging lazily on his collar - when he had to look at things closely, like to read, his eyes were beginning to fail him. Fortunately, he'd made sure his glasses were just as stylish as everything else. In this case, they were close at hand because he wanted to get a good look at his temporary apprentice.

What's his name? Drake? Deaver? Eh, I suppose he'll tell me once he gets here.

In the meantime, Tourniquet pulled out a cigarra with his tentacle arm - his real arms felt very comfortable draped over the back of the couch - and stuck it in his mouth. He then reached for his lightsaber, it was lying on an endtable next to the couch - and used it to light the cigarra.

Yeah. That's about all he used it for.

Oh, well.

He put it back as he pulled out the cigarra and puffed out some smoke, waiting for his new apprentice.

Hm, let's see, how does one make a necessary evil fun? He thought. After all, teaching someone was horribly boring. However, he was sure he would think of something to make it somewhat bearable.

Deakr has been called many things, Jedi, Alsakan, Acolyte. He prefers outcast for which he can never find a organization that he felt be belonged too. He entered the pure white room, oblivious to the color because he cant see light. He was wearing his black cape and hood with his old alsakan armor under it It too was painted black with a little hint of blue on the chest plate.
"Hello master Tourniquet" He said in a normal tone void of emotion.
"I am Deakr Cueve and was sent to come here for training."

((Disclaimer: Don't take anything Tournie says personally. :p ))

"'Hello'?" Tourniquet repeated with an amused grin. He hoped that, for the rest of this ordeal, his new student wasn't planning on being so stuffy. Hmmm...Deakr, Deakr...that's how it goes.

Sounded funny.

"Well," He said, slowly raising himself from his lounge. He slid his glasses off his collar and perched them on his nose, moving it up and down as he got a good look at his student. He snorted before replacing his glasses. Nothing impressive.

"First thing's first. Caf?"

"yes" He said normally. Deakr made his way to a chair and sat down. He thought it was comfy.
"So how are we going to do this?" He asked as he noticed the cigarra from the sent of the room.
"You shouldn't smoke those" Deakr warned. "They are rotting your insides as we speak. I can see it."

"Oh, please," Tourniquet said, rolling his eyes after handing his apprentice the mug. "Tell it to someone who cares."

Pfft. Didn't he know that he didn't need to worry about that? I'm a Healer for crying out loud.

"To stay on topic," Tourniquet said, leaning back into the couch, hoping that his apprentice wasn't going to be stuffy throughout this whole ordeal, "Okay, to get on with this, what's something you fear and/or hate?"

After taking a drink, Deakr said "Like I'm going to tell you what I fear. I do hate the Jedi counsel though. I was ether not good enough for them of they where not good enough for me but I don't know. It has been a long time and I cant remember too well. Why is this relevant now?"
He then chug the rest of the caf down without taking a breath and asked "More please" with a smile. He really liked his caf.

"Tch. You're being too meta. Take a chill pill," Tourniquet said, shutting his eyes. "Not something all big and abstract. I'm not like that. I mean something simple. Like...like jellyfish...heights...the color purple?" He said with a small grin.

One eye popped open at the man's request for more caf. He grinned a bit wider. "Of course," he said, getting up, taking the mug from the man with his tentacle arm, brining it to his real arm as he reached for the caf pot to pour some more into the cup.

While I'm at it...

He reached over with his long tentacle arm to pick up his own quarter cup-full mug to refill that. He was always up for caf.

"Well in that case, I hate people who think they are better than me. Like Hutts and such" He ranted to his new master. "I don't know why but those people piss me off so much." It was one of his major ranting topics. "It is also the reason that I wont be calling you master. I find that term being one is superior to another. I do not find you superior to me other than the knowledge in the dark side of the force. That is why I will listen to you. I will, however, call you sir if you want."
He then faced his master with curiosity and asked "What race are you?" Deakr has never seen a third arm tentacle thing like that.

"Okay, you don't like Hutts. That'll do," He said, taking a sip of caf and resuming his lounge on the couch. He grinned to himself at the end of his little apprentice's rant.

"So you won't call me Master, because you don't think I'm superior to you except in the stuff it matters to be superior to someone to. Say that ten times fast," he snorted. "I.e., that was a stupid thing to say. Normally I wouldn't care and you could call me Tourniquet. But as you want to border on insubordination you will call me Master. That or nothing it all. It's a matter of principle now," he said, putting his hand behind his head and shutting his eyes.

However, one eye popped open at the last question. "Race? Ha. I'm your worst nightmare." Tourniquet grinned. "I could really go off on a tangent-rant-thing on that, you left it wide open. But I won't. Ha. No, really, I'm a Human. Human enough. The tentacle arm is a prosthetic."

After a long drink of his new caf, Deakr explained "It's not than I don't disrespect you, it's because I don't find you strong enough to defeat me. I have been had too many... 'superiors'... to deal with so I don't just accept one out of thin air. But then again, we haven't had a conflict. So I'll make you a deal. If you can defeat me in a conflict of your choosing, but I have to agree on it, I will call you master. This can also be my first lesson if you want."
He than put his cup down and leaned back in his chair, hands folded behind his head, with a grin of accomplishment on his face... He than sneezed.

"You might want to make your arrogance a bit more obvious, people might not notice," Tourniquet said with an eye roll. "Oh, please, what do you think I am? A Taung? I don't go around getting my kicks from dueling people. If I wanted to kill things I'd go find myself a few Jedi. Might as well make it useful. Not that I don't mind fighting, but I want the goal to be dead opponents. And I don't play fair. So why don't you just can your testosterone for a moment and we can begin," Tourniquet said, irritated.

Ooo! Let's fight! I wanna fight a Dark Master just because I'm too totally awesome to call him master! Ooo! Ooo!

Idiots.

"All right. Now, pick a random world with Hutts on it. Any old one will do," he said, taking a sip of caf. "Oh, and you will call me Master. I'm not a Dark Master for nothing, Acolyte. Not that I have to give you a reason."

I only appear arrogant, but then again, I don't know what your capable of Deakr thought to himself. He was severely observing his new master, trying to learn as much as possible.
After his master had stopped talking he requested "We'll talk about this 'master' thing later, when we are done with this." Deakr then answered his master's question with "Nal Hutta. Does that one work? Of course it does, it's their home world"

"There is nothing else to discuss about 'the master thing,'" Tourniquet said, firmly. He had no time to put up with insolent children.

"All right, Nal Hutta. Do you have finances?"

Deakr thought to himself for a few moments and replied "I invested most of it but with this war going on I lost a large portion of it."
He than remembered his Caf in his hands and drank a few gulps before saying "After that I would say I have about 10,000 Republic Credits. But I don't think Nal Hutta takes Credits, do they?"

"No, they don't. You'll have to get them exchanged," Tourniquet said, thinking. As he thought, his tentacle arm moved and twisted about, finally settling on his chin, almost like a hand.

"Here is what you're assignment is. You have to get your credits exchanged. Find and purchase a ride to Nal Hutta. Use your wits to get around and not be distinguished as a Dark Jedi. And you will have to assassinate a paranoid Hutt. It doesn't have to be anyone important, just one that's paranoid. Oh, and you'll have to do it without your lightsaber. If you get caught with that people'll have reason to believe in our existence, and we can't have that yet, can we?" He said, standing.

"I'll be with you to watch you and make sure you don't reveal us. If you do, I will kill you and anyone who might have an inkling of an idea. Any questions?" He said, taking one more puff of his cigarra.

"Yes, I have two. Number one, How am I going to find anyone on Nal Hutta, It's too crowded. And second, When do I start" Deakr asked. He knew he would probably be yelled at for asking the first question. But the way he literally saw things was an unrecognized factor in his superior's equation. Deakr saw with a combination of infrared, sonar, and force vision. With that many people crowded together, it's just going to look like a giant infrared blur.

"Firstly," Tourniquet said, holding up a finger, "You don't have to go there looking for someone. Just find a Hutt. Pretty much all of them are paranoid - and by paranoid I mean "surrounded by bodyguards." Secondly, as soon as you can arrange everything," he said, dropping his hand back to his side and rolling his neck. His prosthetic's brace often made his neck a bit sore, it helped to roll it fairly often.

"I can arrange something within the week" Deakr said as he got up.
He put his caf cup on the ground instead of the table and said "I'll contact you when I have everything ready."
As soon as he exited the door The chair he sat on fell apart. During the conversation, Deakr slowly removed all the screws and bolts that held it together with the Force. He usually did that when he is angry or board but this time he wanted to show Tournqiuet that he could do that with out being detected, but that was the most he could do with that outcome.

((That makes to sense. 1) Why would your char do that, and 2) How would he do that? 3) Are you willing to be okay with the consequences? I will have to let Tournqiuet do what he would do in this situation))

((I assume by the wording of the post that you're referring to Deakr's chair))

Tourniquet cocked an eyebrow as he watched the chair fall apart. With a look of annoyance he got up and stood at the door Deakr had just walked out of. "Deak. Over here," he said, pointing at the ground right in front of him.

"Put the chair back together before I rip your head off."

((Sorry it's so short. :CCry2:))
