Bhesric sat in his lounge watching his two twi'leks dance in front of him, he was smoking a cigar that he took off from the man who laid dead on the ground in front of him. The man owed him money, fifty thousand credits in fact; Bhesric had the money and didn't really care if the man paid him back or not, but he cared about his reputation. The man had pleaded with him, he had asked him to spare him because he had children, but Bhesric knew it these situations that everyone had kids and had to be around to raise them. In fact, Bhesric himself had three children, he understood what the man needed; but Bhesric knew he would never put his kids in this amount of danger, that's why they were at his home planet of Coruscant. This isn't the time to think about that, he thought, there's business to do. He had two vacancies in his staff, a Representative who would establish business off and on-world around the galaxy, and a business partner who would run part of his "official" business that was recognized by the Galactic Alliance.

His main bodyguard interrupted his thoughts as he walked up to his ear, "they have arrived sire," the Pau'an whispered.

"Send them in," Bhesric commanded.

Patrick Epps, Lieutenant of the Galactic Navy, no longer existed. That man had ceased to exist when he had accepted the mission, officially he had been discharged after an incident that he was charged for selling explosives to terrorists located on Coruscant; unofficially he was transferred to the Office of Naval Intelligence where he would begin his career as an Intelligent Officer. He had walked into the lounge that held the Alliance's most wanted criminal, Bhesric Dazeshiel. Even though Bhesric was new to the game, the Alliance was no doubt intimidated by his actions even if they were only just small operations. But even the small things add up, he thought, they actually did add up to over 1,500,000 credits so far. This man will not hesitate to kill you, be careful Patrick.

As he stood in front of the crime lord he began to realize his excitement; his adrenaline was flowing, this was the job for him. He waited for the criminal to speak first.

Lahflan stood beside Patrick-- but he was not Lahflan here, nor was Patrick himself anymore.
The crime lord was intimidating to the Laughing Man, his temporarily dead alias, Bhesric was a man whom would easily end him if his cover was blown or he displeased this criminal. He wouldn't fail. He couldn't fail, it just wasn't an option.

This mission was vital, to him at least, and he'd see though that it was achieved.
He stood silently with a small smile that was permanent on his face. Lahflan and Patrick both waited for the crime lord.

Bhesric sat in his chair watching the newcomers stand in front of him, slowly puffing on the remains of the cigar; he took it out of his mouth and stared at it for a second and threw it on the dead body that lay in between the three men. He pulled out his two blasters and put two ammunition packs in it, empty of course, and handed it to the two newcomers. This was the first of many tests that would prove to him that they meant business. If they were serious about their job then they would do whatever he asked, if not then he would shoot them himself; if his guards didn't get to them before he did.

"Tell me your names," Bhesric said, "and shoot the man standing next to you before he shoots you."

Now all he had to do was wait.

Patrick, no, Daniel Kelzcreig took the blaster and aimed it at the agent standing next to him; he knew this test would come, he would have to shoot his ally, but Daniel noticed that blaster wasn't heavy enough to support the weight of a fully loaded blaster pack.

"My name is Daniel Kelzcreig," Daniel said as he pulled the trigger.

Lahflan smiled a bit wider once the crime lord demanded him to shoot Pa-- Daniel, he wasn't about to kill Daniel. He said shoot, not kill. Shoot and sweet, he picked up the blaster and aimed it steadily at his heart. "Hamden Coal." he said clearly as he noted the light weight of the blaster compared to most.

Would the crime lord have wanted him to check the ammo to make sure it was full?
He'd probably just look dumb, Patri-- Daniel would have noticed the lighter weight of the blaster and only said his new name.

By the moment Lahflan completed his thoughts, Daniel had fired and Hamden retaliated but slightly dropped his wrist so he wouldn't critically hurt Daniel in the chance it was loaded. He simply held his head tilted downward slightly and smiling when he noticed it wasn't as he pulled the trigger again.

He'd apologise later.

"Good," Bhesric said as he stood up from his chair, "now that I know you'll follow my rules without asking; I know that I can trust you. But come now, let's get to know each other."

Bhesric stood up from his seat and grabbed the blasters out of their hands, he would need them for later. He told them to follow him, he showed them around the ship and even took them to the hangar bay where the rest of the conversation would take place. He told them that they would be staying here from now on, when they weren't out on missions, which wouldn't be often. He then snapped his fingers and his bodyguards gave each one of them two duffel bags that held everything they would need for their first "visits".

"Located in each one of these bags are identification cards, 10,000 credits, blasters, body armor and everything else you might need to convince your objective that you're working for me. Daniel, you will be heading to Coronet Corellia where you will find a prospect of mine that is named Hugo Sanchez, Hamden you will travel to Anchorhead Tatooine and capture a friend of mine, a Twi'lek named Lokalle. If either of your objectives resist, you have your equipment and you must bring them back alive or else don't think about showing up."

Bhesric snapped his fingers and revealed his fleet of starfighters that belonged to him, stolen from various factions in the galaxy. Everything from Z-95 to two YT-2400 freighters, the new employees would take their pick.

"Each of you can choose your ship, if you want to take a large ship then I will have some of my bodyguards accompany you; but I expect you to have enough self-reliance in order to complete the mission. Now pick your ship and report back to me."

Patrick walked around the hangar looking for the perfect ship, finally he found the one that fit the bill. It looked a miniature version of a YT-2400 and it had enough compartment space for what he needed. He walked back to Bhesric and told him which one he wanted.

"I'm ready."

Hamden gave a respectful nod over to Patrick for his choice in ship.
Lahflan as a person wasn't a huge fan of ships, but this is Hamden. Hamden breathes starfighters and transport crafts of any and all kinds. He spotted a decent YT-2000 that he knew he could pilot easily. He faced the crime lord and gave an adoring smile,
"This Lokalle; female or male?" he didn't need to say much, there was no need though he was sure the Twi'lek was a woman. He didn't want to go in looking too stupid by looking for the wrong gender.
He wasn't too happy to be going to Tatooine, his mother lived there and she'd notice him anywhere. Lahflan gave a small smile as he contemplated a disguise to pull. His mother was smart though, she'd realise he was under cover... Wouldn't she? No way could he risk it though.

"Good," he rubbed his throat, "you didn't make rapid decisions but you knew what you wanted. Very, very good. But as always, there will be a change of plans; both of you will go to Kessel and rendevous with one of my producers, there you will pick up a shipment of spice and take it with you to your mission spot. You must sell the spice to a corporation named 'Locanson' for at least 5,000 credits. You probably should do it before capturing your targets because local authorities will be all over you once you make the sale. Now, off you go time is credits and credits is life."

(((Both of you will post in Death Plays Poker, Part 2 "Kuat". Either one of you can make the thread.)))
