DEXTERITY: Running, ducking and climbing are skills Deenik relies on when in sticky situations. (Un)Fortunately for him, he hasn't been in many.
CONSTITUTION: Deenik can take a beating.
INTELLIGENCE: He went through basic schooling, and didn't feel the need to endure much more.
WISDOM: Relatively new to the scene, Deenik hasn't had many chances to apply any wisdom gained.
CHARISMA: He can chat someone up, sure, but persuasion isn't exactly his strong suit.
PERSONALITY:
Deenik has always had an affinity for flying ships and shooting guns. His morals are more than questionable, but he tried to rob, steal and take whatever he wanted with some empathy. Crime came easy to Deenik, and he was more than happy to become more than just friends. He couldn't kill without remorse, though sometimes he had just about managed. He prefers to keep combat quick and close, opting for a pistol or knife rather than explosives or sniper rifles. Deenik is a firm believer in standing up for himself and his friends, never missing an opportunity to defend either. His ship is littered with empty bottles of alcohol, meal packs, small amounts of credits, the occasional article of clothing and knick knacks. Crystals, feathers, glass orbs, cheap statuettes, etc. Deenik is all about instant gratification, as any day could be his last and he didn't want to die saving up for something that he'd never get to enjoy. He loves adventure and relishes every opportunity to explore and plunder with his buddies.
BIOGRAPHY:
Deenik lived a fairly average life. Growing up in lower class society, coupled with his disinterest in school, led him to joining a local gang called the Jade Fists, known for their frequent muggings and their habit of targeting off worlders and beating them badly. It was the mugging that really stuck with Deenik, though. He didn't care about their ritualistic initiation beatings, no, he cared about being able to take money from people so he could enjoy the high life. Unfortunately, he didn't believe himself to be intimidating enough on his own. After a second failed attempt to mug someone, he decided to buy and learn how to use a blaster pistol. He practiced on whatever he could find; bottles, cans, boxes, etc. He had gotten pretty good at it too, impressing his gang friends by bullseyeing local wildlife and targets they had set up. It was a decent life, he thought. Whenever he needed money for food or other crap, all he needed to do was flash a gun in someone's face and he had dinner for the next few days. It wasn't meant to last, though.
One day, in his apartment, when he was drinking and smoking and being rowdy with a couple of his gang members, things got a little too loud, and a noise complaint was filed. When the authorities showed up, they immediately recognized the three as Jade Fist members. Deenik was jailed and charged for his crimes, while the other two had abandoned him and escaped through a window. He was offered a deal, though. He could reveal the identity and location of other members, in exchange for a shortened term. Long story (and list) short, he ratted out everyone he knew and got out of his sentence shortly afterward. Realizing he had little left for him on his home world, he stole a ship from a small port and barely managed go fly it away. He turned to piracy, specifically with The Exchange.
Now he's a two-bit thug working small time jobs to pass the time. Muggings, courier jobs, drug dealings, whatever he needs to do. But he wants more, and will take it all, one inebriated step at a time. His friend Lars Warren runs a bar that Deenik frequents at, whether to get jobs or get drunk.

Steady hand: (When sober) Deenik has amazing control over his hand movements, assisting in brawling, piloting and shooting.
Over watch: He's wary of getting caught by the cops, or anyone, really, so he keeps his gun ready and exits close.
Weaknesses:
Drunkie: Deenik does love a good old bottle of rum. Or wine. Or beer, or...any alcohol, really.
Paranoid: Deenik can get a little too suspicious and will sometimes have trouble trusting others.
All in the past: He just wants to forget about his past. The murder, the getting caught, the betrayal...all of it. Unfortunately, people will always ask about his past, sending him into depression.
Instant Gratification: Money flows free from Deenik's pockets. He often has very little to spend, and has never had a banking account. He lives in the present; what more can I say?
Knawledge: Deenik only had basic schooling, so he is only of average intelligence.
