Participants: Relia Del, and Kes

Force augmentation was the most powerful way to augment one's abilities, and this could only be used by force sensitives that seeked to augment their physical abilities. Kes, having trained himself in increasing his grasp of force augmentation past most Crusaders decided that he would teach acolytes this ability, in hopes of them teaching them to increase their grasp. Today, the acolyte that had applied to his class would endure training that all acolytes who entered his classes would endure.

As the Assassin waited patiently in a large rectangular room, his armament was mostly his curved hilted lightsaber, with a dual phase setting. He also had a pistol that could shot at high velocities. The exercises required today required two large droids, each of them having fast calculative systems, and each of their pistols being able to fly at extreme velocities.

Another part of his exercise required him to have two large cages, each of them having dangerous beasts of considerable power. It seemed the Imperium was not limited in wealth, and whatever Kes had ordered for his lesson, he certainly would get it, unless it wasn't unreasonable of course.

The Assassin stood there, waiting for his student to arrive as he sat there, meditating, as well as applying a cross legged position.

As she gracefully strode down the halls, Relia contemplated the next class she would attend. She knew that in order to be truly effective as both an assassin and a Sith, she would need to learn how to defy the limits her physical being held. She was only so fast and agile, and hated that. She wanted to be more than just quick; she wanted to be the fastest. The only way to achieve these super-human levels, however, would be to augment both her physical and mental states using the Force, seemingly slowing down time and allowing her to make more decisions.

After a few minutes of almost gliding down the halls, Relia found herself at the scheduled meeting place. A large training chamber occupied by a lone Sith, a pair of droids, and two large cases that seemed to almost spill out anger, or so Relia sensed. With an exasperated sigh, Relia entered the room and gave the Crusader the customary greeting of a bow.

"I am Acolyte Relia Del. I presume you are the Crusader Kes?"

She spoke meticulously, pronouncing each word carefully. She stared at the meditating Crusader, wondering what he would have in store for the Vahla girl.

The large sounds of animals making noises echoed the room, fighting to know which voice was the loudest. Of course the animals were not aware of these, considering the fact that they were extremely primitive. As their large sounds continued to emit from their mouths, their combine voices were able to be much more louder than Relia's statement toward Kes. Luckily, the Assassin stood in a close, yet appropriate distance, and could hear what he was stating.

When he had finished speaking, a face void of emotion, visual expressions that showed that the Assassin was highly disciplined was the reaction that Kes gave toward his statement. He was a logical thinker, and he only used his emotions to increase his focus during battles, and other important missions. Being an Assassin meant that you would be given highly dangerous missions into the Sith Order, and Kes, having trained more than any other Sith during his tenure as an acolyte was highly capable, and he was more than ready to take on whatever missions the Sith gave to him.

"Welcome young one. You are correct. I am Kes, Crusader of the Sith Order. We shall first begin the class with questions about what we need to learn, and then we shall apply applications of the ability, once I demonstrate them towards you. Any objections." When he finished speaking, you could tell that Kes was speaking respectfully, but he still maintained no visual expression whatsoever. Kes was not like most Sith Warriors, or Sorcerers. He was an Assassin, and as an Assassin, he used a mix of logic, and emotions. This was what made him believe that Assassins were the perfect Sith to kill the Jedi, but he did not think that in an arrogant manner, or he would be betraying his views that had been installed to him ever since he was a child.

Relia curiously watched the Crusader from her position in the doorway. As he remained still, she idly examined the room. The incessant howling and other primal noises of the caged animals had begun to irritate her, but she showed no signs. At least none physically. She was curious what the Crusader had in store for her, and mildly interested in how he would teach her how to defy her limits.

"Welcome young one. You are correct. I am Kes, Crusader of the Sith Order. We shall first begin the class with questions about what we need to learn, and then we shall apply applications of the ability, once I demonstrate them towards you. Any objections."

After a few moments of silence the Crusader spoke, and Relia listened. She shrugged her shoulders apathetically and shook her head to the man's question. Approaching the Crusader's place in the room, Relia lowered herself to the ground, sitting on her knees. She placed her hands neatly on her legs and shook her head once again.

"Very well, Crusader. I hold no objections, and am eager to begin when you are ready."

Relia chose her words carefully, aware of the temperamental nature of most Sith. She hoped to avoid any unnecessary conflict between her teacher and herself, but was prepared to defend herself if need be.

"Very well then." Kes stated, quickly replying to Relia's response. The sounds of the animals in the cages would make it difficult for Relia to listen to the Assassin's response however that did not matter at the moment. For now, Kes would teach Reila how to refine her grasp of force speed by showing a demonstration of his grasp of force speed, a grasp that he had developed to its highest levels.

When the Crusader began to indicate that he would perform a demonstration of force speed in order for Relia to learn, two large droids fired at the Crusader, the blaster bolt flying at superhuman speed. The bolt approached the Mandalorian at high velocities but instantly, he was not there. The Assassin, having trained more than any other acolyte focused a large amount of his training at core powers, and he therefore had mastered force speed to its highest levels, becoming an extremely fast individual.

As the bolt missed, Kes approached the droid, waves of the force emanating from the Mandalorian. As he did so, a curved hilted lightsaber was activated with blinding quickness. Kes approached the droid, and stabbed it in the eye, the blade going deep into the droid's circuits causing a large bang to be heard, which was an explosion.

The other droid that was in the lesson had been set to levels that were suitable for the acolyte but still highly difficult. Kes was not unfair. He was not going to let an acolyte fight a droid that was more capable than the acolyte. That however did not mean that he was going to make this exercise easy.

When he finished disabling the droid, the Mandalorian Crusader approached the acolyte, indicating he wished for Reila to begin the exercise.

"Always remember that the dark side flows through all of us, and we as Sith, specifically Assassins use our emotions to increase our focus, therefore increasing the chances of us accomplishing a mission. That is who we are Reila." Kes stated, his tone showing no indicating that Kes was tired from displaying his mastery of force speed.

After speaking, Kes deactivated his lightsaber, returning it to his belt. He then positioned his arms to go behind his back, waiting for Reila to begin as the droid approached her.

"Very well then."

Relia focused her senses on the man's words, barely audible over the haunting cries and vicious roars of the caged animals within the room. They were faint, but she assumed the man acknowledged her statement. This was further reinforced when the two large droids turned and fired at the Crusader, the two bolts wailing across the room. Relia kept her eyes trained on the Crusader; however, her efforts were in vain, as the man near-instantaneously became a blur. Relia maintained her gaze on the man's figure, which seemed delayed relative to his actual movements. With blindingly-quick skill the man had avoided the two bolts and was upon one of the droids, sinking the crimson-bladed lightsaber into the circuitry of the droid. The matte-grey machine shuddered quiet, before a resounding boom echoed throughout the room. The noise hushed the creatures for but a second, who returned to howling with renewed vigor.

Relia rose from her seated position, taking the remaining droid as her foe for this lesson. She watched the Crusader calmly stride over to her, indicating that now was the time to begin. With the previous display still fresh in her mind, Relia began to ponder the ease in repeating what the much more skilled Sith had done. She knew she wasn't as proficient in augmenting her speed, but she knew she had to try. Before she began, however, she contemplated the several factors that applied to the ability. For one, she would have to speed up her physical form. This was painfully obvious, even to someone who wasn't a true master of the Force. Two, if her body's speed was raised, her mind needed to increase as well. Being able to move quickly meant little if the user couldn't react in time to the increased tempo.

"Always remember that the dark side flows through all of us, and we as Sith, specifically Assassins use our emotions to increase our focus, therefore increasing the chances of us accomplishing a mission. That is who we are Reila."

The words echoed throughout her mind, and the woman clenched her fists. She wanted, no, needed to prove her worth. She knew that Acolytes were not considered Sith, and despised the thought of her being of the lower class.

Relia stood across the room, to the side of the great machine. She steeled herself, but remained on the balls of her feet. Slowly, she gathered the Force beneath her feet and reinforced her legs. Suddenly, the machine fired off two shots. Relia threw her body forward, pushing off with the Force. Instantly she began to focus on her surroundings in an attempt to slow down her perception of reality. However, the Acolyte was not nearly prepared for the sudden firing, and barely dodged the first of the two. As she closed the gap between the droid and herself, she felt a dull pain echo throughout her body. Not expecting the second shot to hit, the sudden realization of failure hit her. This, in turn, threw her momentum off, and she quickly had to fall to the ground and kick her legs forward as she slid underneath the droid.

Relia would lay on the ground for but a moment, before springing to her feet in frustration. She rolled her shoulder a few times, massaging the impact point. Though the lasers weren't lethal, they still stung immensely. A burning reminder of her failure. Swearing quietly in her native language, the Vahla looked to the Crusader for further guidance. As she did so, Relia returned to her starting point across the room.

"Apologies, Crusader, the second shot had... Caught me off guard. I was not entirely prepared, as it seems."

Reila had certainly proven herself to the Mandalorian Assassin. He did not expect her to miss every short that the droid send at her. After all, the blaster bolts travelled at high velocities. In addition to that, the droids were highly capable, and had fast calculative systems, allowing them to outperform a human in many things, and that was one of the reasons why Kes had picked them for this class.

As he so her getting shot, he still stood there in his position, showing no emotion that she had injured herself. The injury was not lethal so Kes did not believe he needed to show a slight emotion.

The Crusader nodded his head to congratulate her but that this class was far from over.

"You have done well but their are two more exercises that I wish for you to do." Kes stated quickly, and respectfully, not wishing to waste time speaking about what was going to occur.

The Assassin wanted to see if she knew any more core skills, particularly a rather basic, and popular one known as force jump. It was a variation of telekinesis, as it practically meant sending a telekinetic burst to the ground, therefore allowing you to move through the air.

As the Mandalorian finished speaking, he brought his arm up, and pointed up towards the cages where the animals were. Kes wanted to see how good she was on force jump.

"As you can see their are various animals, both big and small but very lethal. You are going to jump very close to the cages, and make sure that none of the animals grab you because I can tell you this. They haven't been fed in a long time, and they are desperate to eat something."

One would think that this was a barbaric exercise. Not to Kes. This class was to improve her grasp of force speed, and telekinesis, and that going to occur.
