BIOGRAPHY

The most recent warrior to excel amongst the Orar'da'yadr, he was born on Manda'yaim but served during both the Concord Dawn and Dxun campaigns.

With their people having three "Mandalores" within the last decade, the Coalition has continued to operate independently as it always has. Despite being joyful that another Ordo no longer has claim to the mantle, they are tentative to put their trust in Nox. As it were, they are purely focused on their war with the Sith. This doesn't keep them from fielding some troops to keep up the facade.

Personality

A friend of Skjorn's, he has more of a personality then both Vraes and Akaan. That said, he can be serious when needed. Devoutly religious, like many in his Coalition, he believes that battle is the closest he will ever get to meeting the gods.

So this coalition operating independently, and continuing to focus on their war with the Sith, means that they're also part of the traitor cult? I ask cause they would not really be part of the mando faction then.

Openly, they're with Mand'alor. But they still aid where they can against the Sith. Primarily thats due to the belief that they should stand on their own and not be subservient to any other faction. Mandalorians first, in their eyes.

It might make sense to develop something like that through RP, the Sith and Mando have been allied for a few years now IC and saying that they've been secretly opposing the Sith the whole time is basically retroactively changing things when nothing of that sort has been RP'd out. You could actually use the IC time that has passed as like background for resentment to have started growing against the Sith, and build up an anti-Sith group within the mandos through RP. But saying that the entire group has been secretly anti-Sith this whole time seems a bit handwavy.

Well, prior to my break, the Orar'da'yadr had a loose alliance with the Jedi, they were present at few battles (Taris, Dantooine, and few others). So nothing has actually been handwaved. When the order came from Mand'alor to cease aggressions, that's an easy thing to dial back on. Less troops being deployed, focus on smaller units or even single operatives.

A loose alliance does not equate to secretly opposing the Sith all along, also a quick search showed that the last post you made with your other character from this group was before the Sith-Mando alliance was even a thing. It was 148ABY then, it's 151 now, so its been 3 years IC (and the entire mando-sith alliance) that this group was even active, so saying that when a new Mandalore came around and all Mandos turned to rebuild the faction and start their conquest but this group just stayed anti-Sith and secretly kept on fighting them for whatever reason is a bit handwavy. Why not let them have complied with the orders of the Mandalore, and over the three years they grew more and more resentful of working with the Sith, and you can now RP them either doing the secret opposition thing or go rogue and join the rebel mando faction.

Well, I'm going to have to respectfully disagree on what we each view as handwavy. Your hang up seems to be on whether they would still have operatives working alongside Jedi. As its my group, I've already determined that they would (after all, a loose alliance is still sealed in word, which any true Mandalorian won't go back on). They would still join in on the raids and follow Mand'alor's orders (as they are still Mandos), but they don't have to be fielding all troops for a puppet cause.

They aren't your group, they're a NPC faction you wrote the lore for, but unless you have 5 player characters and submit it as a PC indie faction you don't just get to control them as you see fit. As a mando sub-group they would have operated as a mando group while there were no active PCs writing them.
