He watched his apprentice fall from the wall without any interest. Trodai was hurt, Caerllion could feel it through the Force and see it. Even if he had a bacta pack with him, the Annfyn wasn’t going to give it to the Pureblood. The Acolyte had failed in a stupid situation and deserved to be punished because of it.

Yes, we are going to it.” he said, before turning to leave. The two Sith needed to arrive at their meeting before Uryu and the others, this way they could prepare the trap. After walking for some time, Caerllion would abruptly stop. “Here, use it for your wounds.” he would throw a bacta pack to Trodai.

It was enough as your punishment.” since they were going to act soon, the Annfyn didn’t want his apprentice limping during the entire time. “If you mess up again, you’ll receive another punishment.

Trodai fell grimaced as he walked. His Master was not happy, especially when he had showed his potential just to then mess up more than once. He understood. He was angry at himself and the Darkness for not yielding to his will. He would do better, work on his technique when out of this.

If they made it out.

Walking a while, Trodai felt the pain but did not falter. Accepting his punishment and allowing the pain he felt to fuel himself. To add fire to his Rage and Wrath. Preparing himself. He nodded as finally his Master relented.

Passing a bacta pack.

He discarded the splint, and applied it. Allowing the bacta to do it's job. He nodded as his Master let him know the price of another failure. He was determined not to fail again. And so he spoke.

"Yes, Master. I shall seek not too."

Good.” Caerllion said, while he watched Trodai use the bacta. He wanted to leave it very clear that he expected perfection from the Pureblood. The Annfyn didn’t want to have a failure as an apprentice, because it could be considered that he was a terrible master. And he wasn’t going to tolerate such considerations about himself.

Tell me, where is their meeting going to happen?” he asked the Pureblood, after all it had been him the one that arranged it. “How do you think that we should make our trap?” Trodai could have failed with the use of the Force, but he could still be able to plan their next steps. It was his chance of redemption.

Trodai knew very well what was expected. He had not planned to fail but circumstances worked against him beyond his control. And so he was forced to adjust. He was determined not to repeat his mistakes, circumstances permitting. He could feel the disappointment.

And upon hearing Caerllion, he spoke.

"I arranged for it to take place about midnight. Within the citadel, I arranged for them to...cross paths in the central hall. So far as the president is aware it's to meet a business associate. A late arrival who wants to talk urgently before he leaves."

Then he was asked how to make the trap. He thought upon it. And something came to mind.

"As they encounter each other and fight amongst themselves, we could wait a bit. We can...persuade them in their minds to doubt what the other is saying, and play on their insecurities. Cause a spark that becomes a flame and act in their moment of distraction and weakness. If you wish it that way."

Caerllion paid close attention to Trodai’s plan, mentally scrutinizing every detail on it. In the end, the Annfyn was satisfied with it. Another plan that his apprentice developed perfectly. Perhaps the Pureblood should work more in plotting rather than using the Force.

However, he would help him develop these abilities eventually.

"Excellent, with the meeting being only at midnight, we have time to reach the other investors." they had five hours until the meeting would start. There was time for them to seek new partners. Then, the Annfyn thought about something that perhaps could be more useful.

"On the other hand, perhaps we shouldn’t warn them yet. We can 'catch' the president, Elim and the Falleen doing their shady business and threaten the rest of the board by telling everyone that they are part of it." it would force it to comply and make them stay on their hands. "Did you find any information about their participation when you went hunting for data?"

Trodai listened, hearing and seeing the change of tone. Indicating approval. He knew they had some time, enough perhaps to add to the plan and perfect it. And then Caerllion offered another suggestion, Trodai liked the sound of it. Blackmail. A way to secure their allegiance and destroy them if they had second thoughts later.

He thought upon it before speaking answering both the inquiry and to offer another idea.

"Perhaps. It is a good insurance Master, I was thinking the same thing...great minds think alike. Blackmail has a way of persuading. It'll warn them that if they start getting ideas to back out or something. And destroy them with it."

Then he thought upon the data, he remembered seeing something like it.

"As to the data, I believe I did find something like that. Here it is"

He handed the data over, allowing Caerllion to take a look. It had information and clear images of them all in talks with Elim and the Falleen.

Caerllion picked the data that Trodai has collected and studied it. Indeed, the other board members were involved with the Falleen and Elim’s plans. He wondered if the vice-president was saving this information to blackmail the others when he became the president.

Well, the Sith would be happy in doing it in his place.

This will be very useful.” he said to Trodai, before giving the data back to him. “I believe that we should catch the president, Elim and the Falleen first. Once this scandal comes out, we can blackmail the others.” the information would be better used this way. “We could even use it to force them to give up the shares that were owned by the president and Elim, once we dealt with the two.

Anyway, we need to go now. We need to prepare for the ambush.” he said, before turning to walk away. There is enough time for them to prepare the trap, but it would be better if they started doing it at once.

Trodai waited and listened as Caerllion went through the data on his own. Trodai thought upon what he said finding no flaw in the logic. He nodded in agreement, speaking to let his Master know his own thoughts on it. Even as they walked. Trodai knew they had some time, perhaps they could use it productively.

"It makes sense. Drain them of all they are worth."

For the remainder he was fairly silent, hoping he didn't mess up again.

With that settled, the two Sith would go to the citadel. The large complex owned by the Gorsian Minerals looked like a fortress, probably the architecture was influenced by the time that the Galactic Empire had controlled the mining company. The two Sith would need to be careful while moving here.

Rather than going inside the buildings, Caerllion decided that they were going to move through the roofs. The Annfyn would use the Force to enhance his movements, occasionally helping Trodai. He didn’t want the Acolyte to fall down, not because he cared about his apprentice’s live, but because a red-skinned alien falling dead on the floor would attract so much attention.

When they finally reached the central hall, Caerllion would hide in the roof of a nearby building from where they could see inside the hall. The large glass walls helped it. Now, they needed to settle the recording equipment and wait.

Trodai moved with Caerllion, following his steps but grimacing occasionally from the pain of his injury. The pain was dulled by the bacta but the injury remained. He observed the fortress aheqd, making a mental note for later of possible weak points he could see by sight. He too used the Force to enhance his movements and keep up with his Master.

Moving along the roofs, when their reached the central hall, Trodai followed into the nearby building until they decided the plan from here.

Looking to Caerliion, he spoke.

"What is thy bidding, Master?"

Caerllion stared at Trodai, surprised by the way that the Pureblood was talking with him. He never interacted with an Acolyte that used a language so formal. The Champion thought that it was a bit unnerving. Not even him talked this way when interacting with his Master.

And he was a noble.

We are going to enter and leave some of these recording devices.” Caerllion said, while passing the micro-cameras to his Acolyte. “I’ll cover us with an illusion spell, so no one will see us. But you still need to stay quiet!” the Annfyn said, before whispering words in ur-kittât. A red colored mist flowed around them.

After doing that, Caerllion would jump to the window of the central hall, using the Force to help him land in the parapet. He would help Trodai jump, then the two would enter in the hall and place the cameras. With that done, they would return to their hiding place. The devices would transmit directly to the Annfyn’s datapad, so they would be able to watch the scene safely.

Trodai listened carefully, knowing how shocked he was simply by his expression at his formality. And yet for him it was completely normal, even if he was of nobility...it always caught others by surprise. And so amused him. He continued to listen as the task ahead was laid out.

Trodai nodded, before sneaking about with his Master, taking the equipment.

Jumping through the same window, albeit with some wincing and a tight fit, Trodai landed landed in the same parapet. He placed cameras on one side, while his Master did the other, inconspicuous and hidden from sight. Trodai even put one camera in a pot plant. The task complete he followed Caerllion.

And there he waited until the meeting was begun. The arguing, and a chance to end them all.

The two Sith covered opposing sides of the room, leaving the cameras in places where their targets wouldn’t be able to see, but would still allow them to watch their meeting. Without anything else that they could do, master and apprentice would need to wait for their arrival.

At the expected hour, their targets started to arrive. First was Elim, who was soon followed by the Falleen. The two seemed confused, not understanding what was happening and accusing each other of having marked this meeting. Their arguing was stopped by the arrival of the president.

Hell broke loose when the president of the company understood what was happening here. The argument became a fight and Caerllion saw that it was the time for them to act. Using the Force, the Annfyn coiled the Dark Side around the Falleen’s mind, influencing him to attack the other two.

The criminal immediately pulled a blaster and fired at Elim and the President, killing both of them. He stayed immobilized by Caerllion, who immediately turned to his Acolyte. “Go down there and kill him, but without your lightsaber. We are going to say to the public that a mercenary killed him, after he had assassinated the others.

Trodai waited with Caerllion patiently, like a lion stalking prey. Savoring the kill to come. As the three arrived and argued, Trodai was amused at how easily they turned on each other and accusations. And no-one bothered to ask the obvious questions. And when the President arrived it only got more interesting.

He guessed what was going to happen but it did nothing to stop his fate. Or any of them from avoiding theirs.

When the fighting started Trodai observed, even as the mind of the Falleen, Uryu was compromised. He noted how he turned on the others, a direct result of his Master...and he desired such a power. When the Falleen pulled a blaster ending the lives of the President and Elim, Trodai was a little disappointed. He had wanted to be the one to kill Elim.

That it was stolen by the Falleen criminal, Only enraged him at the man. As he stood immobilized and Caerllion spoke, Trodai gave a nod as he spoke in turn before pulling a sword from it's sheathe. He would take blood.

"An excellent idea. We have evidence that they did hire bounty hunters. Won't take much convincing to tell them they were hired to do the job."

With that he went for the kill. Closing the distance and looking the man dead in the eyes. He wanted him to see who killed him, and wanted to savor his demise for every moment. See if he was weak or not in death. Charging, so his Master didn't have to hold him too long. He struck, piercing the sword into his throat and cutting open at the artery. He would bleed out in moments.

Stepping back, Trodai admired his handiwork. And looked as the body slumped to the ground before rejoining Caerllion.

Caerllion watched Trodai leave his side and approach Uryu. The Falleen was completely still and seemed unaware of what was going to happen. However, the Annfyn could feel that the criminal knew what was going to happen, feeling the fear coming from him and his incapacity to do anything to save his life.

The Annfyn thought that it was a sweet sensation.

Trodai quickly killed the Falleen and returned to Caerllion’s side. “Good job, apprentice. Now we can approach the rest of the board of directors with our demands and their salvation from this scandal.” he said, while typing a message in his datapad.

To his surprise, the directors were fast in answering his message. “Come, they are going to meet us outside of the city.” now they are finally finishing this mission.

Trodai followed, wondering if they would accept the demands they made. It didn't really matter...if not he would simply kill a few and replace them. But none the less he was curious. He soaked in the Fear from Urdu as his life essence slipped away. His horror and look of mortification upon his face, the last look emblazoned like a pale statue.

The look of cowardice personified. This is what Trodai enjoyed seeing, finding out who a person truly was moments before taking everything away. He waited for the Director's which wasn't long before Master and Apprentice began to walk to the city outskirts. Trodai was still cautious however. In these circumstances some got desperate, especially when trying to cling to what power remained if any.

Before arriving at the meeting place, Caerllion had stopped by his ship and changed into his armor. Even if the surviving members of the board were eager to hear what he had to say, the Annfyn didn’t want them to recognize him in the future. He didn’t need to alert Trodai about it, the Pureblood was already wearing one.

The meeting place was a clearing in the forest. When the two Sith arrived, the three members of the board were already waiting for them. Tryss Lavyr was a female Twi’lek, while Dyor Cutter and Edon Taresh were male humans. All of them were old, probably in their early 60s.

Hello, my friends! I’m happy that you accepted my invitation.” Caerllion said, while walking toward the three. His voice was friendly and sweet. “I’m Mayhem and this is my apprentice.” the Annfyn decided to use the name that he had taken in another mission some time ago. “I already informed you about the situation. Your president is dead, together with Elim and Urdyn. If you don’t want to go to prison due to reveal of your shady operations, you are going to as I say.” he gestured with his right hand, immobilizing them all with the Force.

You suspected that the president and Elim were corrupt, even sending mercenaries to watch over them. Said mercenaries arrived right on time to see the two having an argument and being killed by Urdyn, a famous Falleen criminal and their partner.” Caerllion’s voice was serious and deadly, which made the three look at him with fear. He was loving that.

The mercenaries killed the Falleen, saving the company. Follow it, and you are going to be heroes.” of course, now he was going to reveal what he wanted in exchange. “In exchange for this, your company is going to support the Cinnagar Company and the shares of both the president and Elim will be passed to me and my apprentice.

He would use these shares to support the Sith Order, but obviously a fake identity would need to be made to control it. Caerllion still didn’t trust them. The Annfyn turned to look at Trodai. “Do you have a request for our friends?

Trodai likewise changed into his proper Sith armor, as a way to further intimidate those they were to meet, hide his facial features and mask his voice. It was deep and almost mechanical. Heading to the meeting in the forest, he saw no need to hide the lightsaber. A further tactic. He looked upon the three with distain.

Although he disliked them already, he would work with them.

As Caerllion explained everything and the terms of the arrangement, he was somewhat surprised that he was granted a request. And so he thought upon it, an idea forming. This allowed for certain plans to move forward.

Trodai nodded, stepping forwards and speaking. Intimidating them to do exactly as was asked with no questions.

"Yes, Master I do."

He went right near them, to explain it clearly.

"In addition to these shares, I am inclined to go into business with you...personally. I need funding for some...projects. You will help. I request to be instated as a shadow CEO within your company. Everything will run as normal, you will lead it but you would report to me behind the scenes. Any profit that does not go towards the Cinnagar Company, the shares therein, or sanctioned projects, paychecks or yourselves, I will collect and disperse at my leisure."

he heard a few gasps, but knew they didn't really have a choice.

"In exchange I will turn your misfortune around, your company will grow into a powerhouse. I hope you will cooperate and we have an understanding." as if to make his point, the lightsaber swung into view, albeit by accident. He turned to his Master.

"If this acceptable to you of course."

Caerllion wasn’t surprised that Trodai had made such an extensive request. The Pureblood really seemed to be the ambitious type. “I’m fine with it. Not only that, but now I also want a place in your council that will be filled by an agent of mine. ” the Annfy really didn’t mind if he would end up being the CEO. With his experiments and political dealing in his homeworld, the Champion really didn’t have time for it.

He only wanted the money from holding the shares and a seat in the company council.

Without any choice, the three were forced to agree with the Sith demands. “Excellent!” Caerllion said, before releasing them from his control with the Force. They scurried away, prepared to carry out what the two had ordered. “I believe that this mission was a success.” the Annfyn said, while turning to walk away.

“We are going to remain around to see if they will do what we said, then we can leave. Good job, Acolyte. You didn’t ruin this mission.” a mission that went well is always good.

Trodai listened carefully, checking for deception. Finding none and the agreement reached, he was satisfied and so returned to his Master's side. He thought of the possibilities, slowly his start up funds were beginning to take shape...and his plans for the future in motion. As the trio were released and scurried, Trodai stood amused at their handiwork.

Although with a few hiccups they had succeeded afterall.

Trodai nodded as Caerllion spoke about sticking around. And he complimented on a job well done. Even after his twice failure. He wanted to also be sure however the trio followed through. Any double cross or betrayal would be met with swift retribution.

He spoke up "Thank you Master. I too wish to make certain with so much riding upon it. I look forward to your teachings."

With that he followed to whatever awaited on the journey ahead. With his training and rise among the Sith.
