A black market parts dealer on Dantooine claims to have a significant piece of tech that could prove to be invaluable to the defense effort. Yes. There's a high probability that this is a trap, but if we aren't willing to turn every stone right now, we'll be buried by our missed opportunities. Attached to this message are the coordinates for the meeting spot. I ran the numbers. It's a scrap yard on Dantooine. I recommend getting there early and building your exit first. Don't take any chances on this.

Be vigilant, be efficient, and get back safe.

Dantooine: 0700 hours

The scrapyard was massive enough for at least four light freighters to be buried underneath the many different mounds of trash. It was surrounded by a massive fence with four large gates in the center of each wall. The scrapyard was empty of workers with only a dozen worker droids sorting out different pieces of trash to keep the scrapyard orderly. It was the perfect place for an ambush or a quiet meeting. The Jedi had provided Drakon and his partner @Brienna Lanaamer with enough credits to purchase the technology if it was actually there to buy. Drakon wasn't used to the shady dealings of criminals and the underworld so he was using his knowledge from old holo-dramas of criminals and their lives to determine how this would go.

Drakon would have to play it cool, pretend he was always in charge and aware of everything to keep the criminals from feeling his nervousness. Reminding himself of his training Drakon drew on the knowledge drilled into him by both his Master and the Droids of an old abandoned estate. The meeting should only involve the two Jedi and the seller with their guard.

He landed just outside the eastern wall in his Starfighter, closing the latch, and jumping out in his full armored suit. Dressed for battle, and prepared for trouble Drakon made sure his helmet was latch on properly, would suck if he got killed by a stray bolt due to being ill-prepared and nervous. He had sent a message to his partner that he would be parked just outside the eastern gate. There was at least half an hour or so before the meeting was supposed to take place, giving them plenty of time to prepare and check for traps.

Drakon waited hoping that his partner would come soon, the longer he was alone the more nervous he got. "Remember Drakon you are a Jedi Knight." A hand already on his blaster pistol the Jedi figured it didn't hurt to assume that criminals were preparing to backstab them.

Dantooine: 0600 hours

Jedi Knight, Brienna Lanaamer, looked down over the plains of Dantooine from her ship. Undulating endless of green-brown landscape, dotted by the occaisional blba tree.

"Can you read that back to me? Just the last bit."

From the co-pilot's chair, the Knight's droid, NL-142, beeped a response in droidspeak.

Attached to this message are the coordinates for the meeting spot. I ran the numbers. It's a scrap yard on Dantooine. I recommend getting there early and building your exit first. Don't take any chances on this.

"So, that means it should be right around ......." the Knight trailed off, not talking to anyone in particular, but bringing her ship down closer to the ground. "There!" she pointed. The ship slowed from smooth glide into a near hovering stop, as the Jedi began an aerial scan of the scrap yard. Large; fenced in; big mounds of trash. Not quite sure what I expected. Bri flipped a few switches on her control panel, and took manual operation of the ship, performing a few reconnaissance circles. She narrowed her eyes, making a few mental notes. Content with her preparations, she took the ship up and out, landing at the closest town, which was so small, 'settlement' was a more accurate representation.

"I actually have no idea how this is going to go, so just stay on the comms, yeah?" Bri asked to her droid, in almost a resigned sounding sigh. The droid started to offer a few protestations, but yielded when interrupted.

"I'll be fine."

//

The Jedi hopped aboard the only functional speeder bike she could find in the settlement - renting it for a fee she deemed to be way to high. I totally got ripped off. She clicked her feet into the pedals, and after a few seconds of checking the controls and throttle, lurched the vehicle forward.

Dantooine had a beauty to it. The grassy moors seemed to extend far beyond the horizon, and the blba tree's dramatically rose above the grasslands, like spires reaching into the heavens. The speederbike had no trouble navigating the topography, and after a few ups and downs, Bri spotted a man standing nearby a starfighter. As the Jedi got closer it appeared he was wearing...battle armor? Am I underdressed for this? It was possible this wasn't her Jedi contact, but all the facts considered, that seemed unlikely.

Bri brought the speederbike to a slow stop, parking it nearby the ship. She got off, removing her helmet and placing it on the seat. "Where's the party?" she joked, complimenting the other Knight on his suit. Bri thought to wear something that matched in with the locals. A pair of dark green trousers, grey shirt, and vest, and green scarf completed the look. A blaster was in the leather holster around her waist. Her saber hidden in an interior pocket on the vest

"I'm Bri, nice to meet you," she held out her hand in introduction.

Word among Jawas was that there was tons of scrap ready to be scavenged from the battlefield. But Reeka was happy to see that it also meant a large amount of other vehicles and machinery made available in neighboring systems. The word around the holo-transmitter was that Dubrillion had fallen the Empire and the Jedi Order was losing. It hardly mattered to the scrappers.

Dantooine had a few small settlements the Jawas could trade with and one of them was rumored to be near a scrap yard. First they needed to travel to town and get supplies after a long interstellar journey. The large salvage freighter touched down and was joined by a sandcrawler of similar shape though on a smaller scale. The crawler belonged to a local tribe while the freighter was a friendly crew that did long trips along the major hyperlanes to keep in contact with long distance relations.

Reeka greeted friends and distant relatives as he arrived. A few moments of trade and pleasantries, a couple of squabbles occurred but calmed down. The force sensitive tinker had his attention drawn towards the morning sky. He was still wide awake and his glowing eyes fixated on a single ship that flew by. A few minutes later it returned and landed at the edge of the settlement.

The young Jawa whispered to a few of his friends and let them know what he had seen. He did not want to be too loud or other Jawas would want to join in on what he had planned for next. This could be his big score. With a few nods and pleased chatter, the robbed rodents collected their equipment and headed towards the 3-Z light freighter.

Quietly and stealthily they watched from the shadows as a woman left the starship behind. The woman dissappeared into the distance in the direction of the junk yard. The Jawas exchanged glances with one another but this changed nothing. After her speeder's whine was imperceptible they slunk towards the 3-Z light freighter.

Reeka guided his air truck slowly so the repulosorlift would not give him away. <"Be quiet."> He raised a tiny finger in front of his shadowy hood. The order was for his agromech R4 droid that was integrated into the air truck. The droid's barrel shaped dome rotated, keeping its optics and occasionally making sounds with its auxiliary mechanisms but otherwise remaining quiet. In a matter of minutes they were among the landing equipment of the light freighter. <"Lets get to work. Start with the communications array."> He directed the others and began to dismantle the ship piece by piece.

Drakon waited outside the gate, walking in a tight circle, concerned that he might be making a mistake. When he heard a speeder coming by, Drakon prepared himself for a fight until he could feel the light following the speeder's sound. It had to be another Jedi so Drakon relaxed and watched his fellow Jedi appear. She was dressed in more comfortable and local clothes that would actually match well if they played it as Drakon is the bodyguard while Bri is the talker.

"Waiting for us once we complete the mission." Drakon said lightly, proud of himself for sounding somewhat normal. His droid tutors would have been proud.

Drakon saw the blaster on his partner's hip but no lightsaber. Either she was hiding it or didn't bring it. Whatever the case Drakon was already prepared to be the 'tough' guy anyway even if his 'tough' guy lines were going to be from bad old classic holo-drama's.

Grabbing Bri's outstretched hand and shaking it, Drakon spoke without removing his helmet. "Drakon, you comfortable being the one to talk with these people? I think I'd probably be better to look like a bodyguard." Whatever her answer Drakon would begin to walk up to the gate and push the door open.

There were dozens of piles of trash high enough to cover a ship completely, with dozens of droids walking back and forth from the piles moving trash to their appropriate pile. The droids ignored them as they entered the scrapyard. So long as they didn't take any piece of scrap out of the yard none of the droids would bother them. The layout of the yard was like a maze, with plenty of spots to hide or make an ambush.

"Got any ideas in case this turns sideways?"

Acquisition was the name of the game, else the lieutenant wouldn’t be anywhere near here. It couldn’t be all exciting skirmishes and intense shootouts they supposed. Even the most menial of jobs could be the difference between successes like Dubrillion and abject failure in the eyes of the Empire. Lieutenant 10-Oh-7 had taken a coterie of the 813th Legion under their command to Dantooine, little and less than a handful of local defense troops more than a day ago. The scavenging would not need many of their numbers, 10-Oh-7 had been told. It wasn’t even a matter of doing any actual scavenging themselves, but in truth cutting deals with the Jawas.

Trading workable parts of this or half-depleted shells of that. No need to low ball people in a nearby settlement when the Jawas did the work better than 10-Oh-7 and the rest of the party could dream of. Besides which, the sniper didn't want that "town" of people to be alerted to their presence. They'd come under the cover of night and it would be night again when the CR20 came to pick them up.

The Lieutenant stuck out like a sore thumb amidst the sample of the 813th Legion, white plated boots patiently tapping the ground. They observed a soldier cut a deal with one of the Jawas who had emerged from the sandcrawler. Briefly, 10-Oh-7’s head tilted in the direction of another Jawa excitedly speaking to a few of their peers. 10-Oh-7 paid no attention to where their destination was when that Jawa and others left, only half-heartedly trying to note the direction they scampered off in. Right now, the only point of interest was acquiring bobs and bits...

...And perhaps a suitable replacement comlink for their 99-V. The original had been getting static-y with every ride. 10 wished dearly they had brought their speeder on them for this excursion.

“Get whatever you can that’s listed on the data pad,” 10 commanded the squad before they raised a hand, pointing three fingers forward at chosen troopers. One for each gate of the scrapyard, including themselves. “You three, on me. A perimeter sweep wouldn’t hurt anything, even if it’s all droids. You take the north gate, you take the east gate, you handle south, and I’ll be walking in from the west gate.”

"Waiting for us once we complete the mission."

"Let's hope its easy enough then," the Jedi nodded with a smile at Drakon's joke. Who am I kidding? It's never easy.

"That works for me." she replied in affirmation, following in behind her Jedi colleague into the scrap yard. It was larger than she had first thought after flying over earlier. That, or the sizable mounds of trash made it challenging to get comprehensive ground-level view of the surroundings. Perfect for finding hiding spots to spring some sort of trap.

"Got any ideas in case this turns sideways?"

The idea had already crossed her mind. The scrap heaps would be their best bet for any cover from blaster fire, and once they left the yard, they'd be vulnerable in the flat plains. Calling in aerial support could be useful, but only if it was timed right. The details in their mission brief were rather, brief, so whoever exactly this dealer was remained a mystery, as did his motivations. It was probably just money, but why choose to sell to us in particular?

"I think we should try and stick together as much as possible. The element of surprise will be heightened if we're on our own. Once we make contact with this dealer, we should try and get out as quick as we can. I'm guessing you can't see through those scrap mounds with your helmet?" While waiting for the answer, she added, "I took some aerial scans of the yard with my ship. I might be able to send them to your helmet so we can map things out."

Bri fished in her pocket and pulled out a communicator.

"NL? Can you relay some scans of the yard to my colleague here?" No response.

"NL? Do you read?" That's probably not great.

"Guess not" Bri looked apologetically towards Drakon.

//

A sound of Bri's voice echoed quickly in the cockpit, before cutting out into static. It drew NL's attention, plugging into the ships command to reset the communications array. The droid waited patiently before trying again, but once more receiving only static.

NL tilted its head in human like confusion. It quickly rolled out of the cockpit to check the array from the outside of the ship. Reaching the landing ramp, NL peered its head out first. A group of quietly working Jawas scurried around as they admired the 3Z. The droid shook its head in anger and quickly rolled back to the cockpit in determination. If they thought they could get away with messing with its ship (which NL saw as its possession, rather than its Jedi partner's), then they were seriously mistaken.
Pulling up to the co-pilots chair, the droid plugged in once more and began to start the take off procedures, quickly firing up the engines for an immediate take off.

The Corellian design of the light freighter was very familiar to the Jawa and his friends. They were each hard at work rapidly disassembling the communication array. It would prove to serve as good parts for a new long range sensor array for themselves or could be bartered with for other useful resources.

The trundling wheeled astromech droid working a diligent security detail was noticed by the glowing gaze of Reeka as they began moving pieces to his airtruck. <"Wait come back!"> But the droid was already gone. Reeka looked towards the other Jawas and began pointing enthusiastically at tools and parts. <"Grab your stuff. Don't forget that! We've been made!"> They were not particularly confrontational beings and did not want to get shot by the droid or its owner.

The squad of Jawas together tried to clamber on Reeka's hovering airtruck along with the stolen communication array pieces. All but Reeka were barely hanging on and even Reeka was crowded on the truck along with his Jawa compatriots. The R4 agromech unit beeped and whirred a droidspeak warning telling the truck's driver to watch out just in time to avoid a parked 99-V ranger and a few armored troopers.

Reeka brought his airtruck towards the sandcrawler and began directing his friends to offload the haul with excitement. <"Don't sell this. It's mine. Got it! Mine!"> It would take him a few minutes to secure the communication array and have the parts arranged for travel and later reassembly. There was the off chance there was something of greater value that was worth trading for it but Reeka doubted it. <"Who wants to come with me to the junkyard after this?"> He said mischievously looking at the four others.

Drakon appreciated that his comrade had agreed with their cover, for now no need to advertise they were Jedi. Nothing on their persons would show that anyway. Not the armor, nor weapons had anything remotely Jedi symbols on it. They walked into the scrapyard to find it just as he expected filled with trash and a perfect amount of cover and hiding holes. As the two walked into the scrapyard they found that the mounds of trash were made so that there were walking paths between each mound creating a sort of maze, with each gate hidden behind a couple of mounds of trash that goes at least 7 feet in the air.

"That was a smart idea. I flew over it but in a starfighter, you don't get as many functions and I rather not risk flying and accidentally hitting something cause I was distracted." Drakon spoke quietly no need for others to hear their conversation.

As Drakon waited to hear Bri get her droid to send the message, but as they waited he began to have a bad feeling about it.

"So your droid alright? The last thing we need is for your ship to get impounded or destroyed. My starfighter only fits one, maybe you can fit if we share the seat but that doesn't seem like the best idea. Would your droid have contacted you if something was going wrong?" Drakon knew that droids were underestimated a lot in the galaxy but also knew that depending on the model of the droid one had to have the right 'expectations' for them.

"Let me take a second to use the Force to feel our surroundings. Just to feel how many people are here at the scrapyard." Drakon said looking towards a mound of trash that had just a perfect little alcove in it blocking the view of them from the North, West, and South.

Drakon would begin to move closer to the alcove hoping his partner would agree. If she did he would take a moment to concentrate on the Force to feel out their surroundings and how many other alive beings were in or near the scrapyard. If he wasn't distracted Drakon would begin to feel the presence of disciplined minds surrounding the scrapyard and four walking into the scrapyard. With another two already deeper inside in the center of the scrapyard feeling bored but eager. It didn't paint a complete picture in Drakon's head but definitely not a pleasant one.

10-Oh-7 stopped just as they had rested a hand upon the door of the western gate. The airtruck might have given them a moment’s pause if they had heard anything from a repulsor lift’s sharp turn. Otherwise, it might have just been finding themselves deep in thought.

A few of the troopers who had nearly been struck down by an errant airtruck could do little and less besides looking at one another. What had only been a routine scavenging for precious parts shouldn’t have been fraught with danger, no matter how seemingly random. Aside from dark mutters, however, the soldiers who had been assigned by 10-Oh-7 to deal with the matters involving trading with Jawas would only shrug it off and hope for a discount. For their troubles.

The lieutenant and the three other Imperial troopers coming through the entrances of the scrapyard could not have had any idea of what, or who they were looking for. A mild perimeter sweep with blasters meant cautious patrol. With none of the soldiers trained in the use of the Force, it was easy to feel their presence with them being none the wiser. Furthermore, the trooper coming from the east would give off a degree of anxious eagerness and disappointment if someone were so inclined to reach deeper. The Imperial trooper who might have been able to spot the weakness of the alcove, was also giving off the impression of being the easiest to succumb to a mere nudge of force. It had to be their first go-around in this outfit.

That soul could be weighed against the hardened heart coming from the west. The lieutenant spoke through their commlink as they stepped through the gate, fingers grazing their Nightsinger. “Nothing over here past the western gate. All I see is scrap and droids and more scrap after that. What about the rest of you?”

“Nothing on this end so far, lieutenant.” the trooper past the north gate noted over comms.

“Free and clear,” Observed the trooper at the south gate.

They were no fan of close-quarters engagements like this. The sooner 10-Oh-7 could call this sweep to end, the better. They spoke again over comm. “Anything in the east?”

NL pulled the ship upwards, and flew it in a semi-circle, spotting the group of Jawas. The droid attempted to contact its Jedi partner, but once again with no success. Frowning as much as a droid could with no visual interface, NL pondered its choices. Flying the ship back to the junkyard and its Jedi partner was an option, but that could result in an unnecessary distraction. Or, NL could keep distance in the ship, while remaining airborne to prevent any more larceny, before trying to approach at a later time. It liked the latter, and took control of the ship once more, setting its plan into action.

//

"That was a smart idea. I flew over it but in a starfighter, you don't get as many functions and I rather not risk flying and accidentally hitting something cause I was distracted."

Bri scoffed a laugh, finding amusement in the the deadpan delivery of crashing a starfighter into a trash pile because of a 'distraction'.

"So your droid alright? The last thing we need is for your ship to get impounded or destroyed. My starfighter only fits one, maybe you can fit if we share the seat but that doesn't seem like the best idea. Would your droid have contacted you if something was going wrong?"

"I'm sure its fine"

Bri nodded with a smile, but sounding almost like she was trying to reassure herself. It was usually NL's job to keep her out of trouble, and not the other way around.

"If something was going wrong, it would've tried to let me know." She tried to put the thought out of her mind, knowing it'd distract from their current task at hand. NL could take care of itself, and Bri would have to put her trust in that.

"Let me take a second to use the Force to feel our surroundings. Just to feel how many people are here at the scrapyard."

Another nod from the Knight, as she took a step back to give her Jedi partner the space to feel. Bri didn't reach as far out as Drakon, did, but tried to quiet her mind and focus on her breathing to feel the immediate surroundings. She practically heard the footsteps approaching in the grass and through the metallic trash at the same time as she felt the anxious mind.

"I think we found one!" she said hurriedly to Drakon, pushing him back into a pile of trash.

An Imperial trooper, on some sort of patrol, approached Bri and Drakon from around the corner. The Knight didn't leave time for considering her actions, and quickly held her left hand out towards the soldier.

"You didn't see us. This sector is clear"

Her voice was soft and clear, almost soothing, and weighted heavily with the Force. It would reverberate around the trooper's mind, easily swaying his actions, unless well-trained to do otherwise.

Drakon didn't notice the little laugh only assuming whatever sound he just heard to be any number of other things that wouldn't indicate he was the butt of a joke. He could feel that there were four coming in from the West, one the North, another the South, and before he could do anything about the East soldier his partner had already sensed it and was handling it.

As she spoke to the soldier, Drakon waited for her to finish giving him a suggestion empowered with the Force. A smart idea to avoid any casualties on a relatively simple errand. Still, it wasn't their only issue and she needed to know the others.

"Four coming from the West, one the North and the South, think they are all with this guy. There are two that feel different near the center of this scrapyard and I assume they are our buyers. Either they tipped off the Empire or the Empire is moving into a new world to conquer either way, they will need to be dealt with." Drakon spoke his voice soft and quiet enough not to be picked up by the soldier's communicator but still for his fellow Jedi to hear, his tone sounding more robotic and missing any sign of compassion for the soldiers they might have to dispatch.

If the soldier gave the all-clear to his companions over the comm Drakon would deliver a sharp stick with a closed fist to the back of the soldier's neck to attempt to knock him out. If that was accomplished Drakon would look to his companion with a very calm but neutral expression.

"Let us clear the Empire here. No need for bloodshed but if they are seeking to invade this world we need to stop it." While his expression did not change Drakon had taken on a harder tone with those last words. Images of war and death were still in his mind as he reminded himself of what that carnage could bring to Dantooine if the Empire was allowed to have its way.

Drakon would wait for his partner to either agree or suggest a second course of action. If she agreed he would begin to stock south attempting to knock out another long soldier before going after the main group.

--------------

The buyer and his guard stood around bored and waiting. Whoever was stupid enough to run the risk of buying from the black market deserved what would befall them. Droids were hidden in the trash mounds next to the Twi'lek and his Trandoshan guard. Both of them were armed with a blaster but neither looked like they were going to shoot at whoever showed up. Rather the Twi'lek had a welcoming smile on his face, with the four battle droids needed just the code phrase to be said by anyone to have them jump out and begin to fire their blasters at whoever was nearby the Twi'lek and Trandoshan.

The young trooper’s first mission had proved more fruitful than he had ever dreamed of. From under his helmet, his eyes went wide. A soldier of some fortune and a...! Well, with the woman dressed like a local, he had no reason to believe that she was anything more than a point of contact, at the very least. The two of them looked like they saw quite a bit of action, especially the figure next to the woman. Who were they, he briefly wondered? Some official undercover and her bodyguard? No one in the Empire dressed in armor with such a flair and Sith...Well, the young trooper sometimes suspected that if it wasn’t shades of crimson and inky black everything, a Sith wouldn’t be caught dead--

"You didn't see us. This sector is clear"

He never got the chance to aim his blaster properly. Once the woman’s hand rose, he felt the strangest sense of bliss wash across him. The two whom the trooper had stumbled upon would see his shoulders slump and his frame seem to relax under that armor. He slowly began to look around as though he had never seen...

...Who again?

“The east of this sector is clear.” He murmured through his comm. “All this inaction...A pity if you ask me.”

The trooper reached up on his helmet and turned off his end of the two-way communication. He knew no more after that but a solid strike that sent him to the ground, no way of seeing it coming or bracing himself to take the hit. If the two who had undone this one of four soldiers cared to listen closely, they would hear the voice of the commanding officer speaking.

“In time you’ll come to love the inaction, 7952.” The voice resonated with a sense of authority, a practiced mind that would not be as easily turned as the soldier who lay at their feet. “Take it slow, every nook and cranny. We’ll all meet in the middle eventually.”

----

“Roger that.”

“Continuing the sweep, Lieutenant.”

The other two troopers that 10-Oh-7 had called with them could be trusted to make a thorough job of it. The sharpshooter took 7952’s lack of an affirmative as no more than sullen feelings over their admonishment. They did to some degree understand. They had been on their first mission once upon a time, but that now felt too long to count back even though they knew it was not. The lieutenant continued their trek from the east gate, every so often switching different sensors on their helmet’s HUD. If possible, they might soon pick up body heat signatures that were not that of the other troopers.

The two soldiers from the north and south, however, lacked these customizations on their armor and were likely to be similarly dispatched as the trooper from the east.

“The east of this sector is clear. All this inaction...A pity if you ask me.”

Bri grinned as her application of the Force proved successful. Almost instantaneously after, Drakon approached and delivered a satisfactory blow to the back of the troopers neck. The trooper collapsed in a comically quick manner to the ground. To help cover their tracks, the Jedi hoisted the trooper under his arms, grunting with effort, and dragged him over against one of the mounds of junk. Bri tried to look from different angles to see if he was visible, but was reasonably satisfied, patting the unconscious trooper on the helmet.

"Four coming from the West, one the North and the South, think they are all with this guy. There are two that feel different near the center of this scrapyard and I assume they are our buyers. Either they tipped off the Empire or the Empire is moving into a new world to conquer either way, they will need to be dealt with."

She looked over as Drakon spoke, trying to form her own mental image of the junkyard, and were the other beings were inside of it. It seems unlikely that the Empire was in league with whoever brought us here for the sale of the tech, but it would be foolish to rule out any consideration without proper analysis. Bri turned her attention towards the other Jedi, her face furrowed in thought.

"Let us clear the Empire here. No need for bloodshed but if they are seeking to invade this world we need to stop it."

"I agree, but I'm worried about starting something without knowing the full picture." Bri replied with a slight frown. "The toopers could just be the start of something larger, and if we run too fast into the unknown, we may find ourselves outmatched."

A brief pause.

"How about you take the trooper to the south, and I'll go North? We'll reconvene on the larger group towards the west, and then worry about these black market dealers in the middle."

Drakon seemed to agree, heading off towards the south, while Bri turned the opposite way, moving slowly towards the north. She crouched and used the tall mounds of metallic debris to her advantage, often stopping to try and feel what was around her, or at least make visual contact with the others that Drakon had mentioned.

Slowly peering around a stack of discarded droids, Bri's bright blue eyes spotted another trooper, also moving slowly and quite clearly on patrol for something - or someone. The Jedi remained as stealthy as possible, creeping up behind the trooper while he was turned the other way. In a quick motion, she moved to sweep his legs with her left leg, followed by an immediate punch to the helmet. Assisted by the Force, it should be a strong enough blow to send him into unconsciousness.

Drakon watched as his fellow Jedi dragged the unconscious trooper into the little hole they were just hiding in. It worked well enough and Drakon figured better if the soldier had some kind of protection rather than laying out in the open. Listening to Bri suggestion about going to the South which he already thought about going to felt like just the will of the Force.

So Drakon moved quietly but swiftly, they definitely didn't want to start a fight only to find out a squad of Imperial Knights were waiting just outside to jump them. With each step Drakon felt the area around him, feeling where the Imperial soldier would have been heading to intercept the soldier. Keeping his hands free Drakon used the Force to pull a metal pipe into his hands.

Drakon would wait just behind a mound of trash in the path the Imperial soldier would be heading, hearing the footsteps nearby the Jedi would wait till the soldier got close enough and with aim given to him by the Force Drakon would throw the pipe into the soldiers helmet with enough energy to knock out a grown man even in a helmet.

Drakon would pull back behind the mound of trash after throwing the pipe and wait to hear the soldier either fall or for his attack to miss and for a real fight to break out.

The black market men continued to wait, since they apparently had shown up too early for the meeting to set up the ambush,.

"Damnit, Bark did we set up too early?" The twi'lek would say out loud bored due to having to wait at least approximately another twenty minutes for the meeting to take place.

"You said they would show up early too ambush us, which is why we had to show up even earlier to set up our ambush first." The Trandoshan said with a hint of irritation.
