DESCRIPTION​

Disable Droid is a neutral Force ability that allows a Force user to overload the circuitry of a droid or a machine and disable it, hence the name. Disable Droid is a fairly simple and easy technique to perform. With it, Force users do not need to use disruptors or other such technologies to shut down droids or other electronic devices. Instead, they simply use the Force to tug at circuitry and short-circuit internal mechanics. This would allow them to disable not only droids and computers, but even prison cells with electronic or energy (ray) doors or shields.

Time is the main limitation of this technique. A quick tug of the Force can temporarily disable a human-sized droid target, but more time and focus are required to permanently damage internal circuitry, leaving the droid or machine completely useless. Likewise, larger electronics or droids require more dedicated time in order to disable it. As with most Force techniques, line-of-sight is also necessary, but, in most cases, this isn't a problem.

SPECIAL NOTE​

Disable Droid is not to be used in PvP against droid player characters (PCs). It can, however, be used against NPCs or other non-PC targets.
