The most logical step in the movies would be Post-Palpatine, but I don't imagine someone like the YV being in a Disney movie. Wouldn't surprise me if they were all "Oh look, Asohka survived the Purge and has shown up to randomly help Luke Skywalker reform the Jedi" or something.
