After their long heists and tons of jobs, they finally had the connection they needed. Cuyan and Leandros could go get the weapon they had been seeking. Through his other pursuits, the Ordo man had found a Sith defector that knew how to make the infamous violator pistols, among other things. Kashyyyk was a better hide out for them to get the work done after the fiascos on Boonta, Taris, and Bandomeer. This place was much more remote and had a decent gap from their last missions. Now all they had to do was let the scientist do his work. Make the violators, work up the drill and explosives, and move on.

"Vod, this is it. He wants this workshop so let's make sure it's available for him." Cuyan said to the crazed religious man he was partnered with for this task. "He can make us the weapons."

It was a fairly simple task. Take the workshop, defend it, and get the goods out. The locals were typically friendly to Mandalorians so it wouldn't need to be super violent either. All in all Cuyan was hopeful they could get their weapons finally after so much turmoil. Not to mention the scientist would get some other work done for them too. He was a useful asset for the Mandalorians.

Cuyan was packing his usual armor with the new vambraces. His repeater was slung over his back for quick access via a strap. Both of his strill pistols were in hip holsters. A stolen lightsaber hung from a clip on his belt next to his grenades as well. Finally, he had a sword sheathed against his back as well. These two would be a force to be reckoned with.

Leandros was growing irritated with running around the galaxy in the pursuit of a single pistol. He understood the gravity of the weapon and how much destructive potential it had, but frankly, he just wanted to be done with the trials and tribulations associated with obtaining it. He worked with Cuyan on all of these assignments, the two of them slaughtering scores of Imperials and gangsters alike. Frankly, while he did not like Clan Ordo due to their clan rivalry, he was beginning to grow accustomed to working with the Ordo marauder. He hated that thought. He would much rather be fighting him to decide whose clan was the superior one, though he was certain he knew the answer.

They landed on Kashyyyk, a planet with which he was familiar after having spent some time and some blood on the planet many moons ago. It was a much more preferable locale than Taris, Bandomeer, or Boonta, that was for certain. The wookiees, though they were aliens, were at least somewhat commendable for their staunch resistance to the Empire and their prowess in combat. His respect ended there, however; they were, after all, nothing more than walking carpets. Still, the wookiees were not his concern today. Instead, it was a Sith defector who promised to get them their weapons.

Clad in his typical beskar’gam with his usual armament – PIPE excluded – Leandros looked every part the seasoned veteran Mandalorian that he was. In their task today, none would stand in their path and emerge unscathed.

They were assaulting a workshop, something he had done before on a separate mission. At least these missions involved annihilating scores of enemies for their gods, otherwise he would hate the monotony of trying to get a kriffing gun. At the end of the day it did not matter who was on the other end of his blaster, so long as he got the violator he sought.

They were nearby the workshop. Outside were a few guards on watch, though they seemed rather bored; the planet offered little in the way of excitement save for the occasional kinrath attack or enraged wookiee. Leandros looked at Cuyan, raising his rifle to a high ready, ”In and out. I want my disruptor.”

Cuyan smiled beneath his helmet at Leandros spoke his bit about being in and out. It seemed he was not the only one who was eager to get the thing and move on. The workshop would be easy enough to take over with the pitiful guards. That was not really the challenge. They really just needed the man to work and avoid some idiots coming by to annoy him. The guards were off-world mercenary types. Some small company or whatever kept their workshop here to scam wookiees or something. It did not matter what their purpose was as long as their machinery worked for what they needed. Two Mandalorians approaching certainly gave the guards pause as they hoped to not have to deal with that right now. Their hopes would be dashed and their throats would be slashed.

"We need this workshop." Cuyan said as he grabbed the first guard by the arm and shoved him against the wall before slashing his neck just below the chin of the man's helmet.

He would leave the other guy to Leandros to handle. Hopefully it would be a quiet move like his own but ultimately it probably did not matter. The Ordo warrior would summon the scientist to head inside with the large sled of parts and equipment. Some explosives, some durasteel, some energy cells, and a large drill. All of these he could put to use for the violator pistols and some other explosive equipment Cuyan needed. The scientist was not a huge fan of being under Mandalorian control but it was better than execution by the Sith for defection. Making disruptors, big bombs, and other weapons for them would hopefully mean his release was coming.

"Get to work." Cuyan muttered as he glanced to make sure the other guard was being handled.

Leandros continued alongside Cuyan, his rifle in a high ready. The guards at the workshop regarded them with suspicion and a tinge of fear as they approached. It was not very often that two armored and armed Mandalorians strolled right up to somewhere that they should not be, and it just so happens that these two particular Mandalorians wanted to get inside the place that they were guarding quite badly. Cuyan grabbed and slit the throat of the guard closest to him.

At the same time, Leandros slammed his rifle butt into the stomach of his guard. The man keeled over right as Leandros swung his rifle up, crashing the stock into his face. The tiny bones in his face were broken and teeth cracked against the force of the smack. The guard’s head swung upright again and the Mandalorian drove his rifle butt into his face with a resounding crack. The man slumped over unconscious and Leandros stepped on his throat, pressing his weight down and crushing his windpipe.

With both guards dead, the scientist could move into the workshop and prepare to do his work. Cuyan ushered him inside and Leandros followed afterwards, sweeping his rifle across the room to ensure it was safe. For the time being, it was empty, but a comms device on one of the tables beeped several times. Leandros walked over and picked it up, pausing for a moment before answering it.

”We’re on our way back. We’ve got six more guys to relieve you two, so get ready for us.”

The Mandalorian paused for a moment as the man spoke, then looked at Cuyan. Without responding, he ended the call and tossed the comms device back on the table. As the scientist set himself up to begin work, Leandros walked over and pointed to the bodies outside, ”Let’s get these two inside. Some others are coming. We’re gonna surprise them.”

With that, he set about dragging his dead guard inside the workshop.

Clear inside and out. Cuyan watched as the supply sled and the scientist made it into the workshop to begin their craft. He was a bit nervous about trusting the man with explosives and powerful weapons, but he was a defector and he had cooperated for the most part so far. The Ordo warrior overheard the conversation from the comlink as well and prepared his guard. He dragged the bloodied body into the door of the workshop and propped it up against a wall. A glance towards the scientist showed he was busily constructing things. That was good. Their new violator pistols would be a game changer for a lot of their work.

"What do you have planned?" He asked Leandros as he drew his pistols and leaned against the door frame to peek outside. "Just start shooting or something more complex?"

A grin would be impossible to see inside the helmet, but Cuyan hoped the other Mandalorian caught his teasing tone. So far all of their plans had ultimately been bust in and shoot everyone. It had worked for the most part. Except that one time when they all got pelted with injuries. Cuyan was up for whatever got the job done, and in this case shooting and throwing grenades seemed pretty effective. Though he would wait for Leandros to make his case if it was different.

"Where are those two slackers?" They could hear as the six guards approached, seeming more annoyed than suspicious. "Probably inside sleeping again."

Leandros dragged the corpse of his guard inside the shack and tossed him in the corner like a sack of potatoes. The scientist with them quickly set about making their weapons, organizing his equipment and quickly diving in. Sparks flew behind them as he worked, now under pressure to perform while they held out and protected him. He was not trustworthy, but he was getting them the weapons they needed, so he was useful for the time being. While the scientist worked on their weapons, they would keep this little workshop defended against whomever assailed them.

Cuyan questioned his tactics, which was understandable; Leandros was not very forthcoming, after all. Once the two bodies were inside, he simply turned his head and looked at the man and said, ”We’re going to kill them all.” That was it. Nothing very eloquent or elaborate – just two warriors going to surprise a party of guardsmen in order to buy themselves time so their newfound compatriot can build them highly illegal weaponry. Nothing fancy, just bolts and blades and bodies. That was it. Really. He drew his pistol and beskad and nodded his head towards the outside, saying, ”Nothing special.”

Leandros heard the noise of the approaching guards and prepped a concussion grenade. He gripped the device, primed it, and clutched it tightly. Once they were reasonably close, he opened the door and threw the device out and towards them. A cry of alarm went out as the guards noticed the blood from Cuyan’s kill and the grenade simultaneously. After a few seconds, it exploded. Leandros, however, had closed the door before he could see the efficacy of the grenade to block the instinctive blaster fire that came their way. The bolts hit the door, but came to a halt after the grenade blew.

He looked at Cuyan, then at the door, readying himself for whatever was outside.

As soon as the firing halted and the screams of pain took their place, Cuyan busted through the doorway and began releasing shots from his pistols. The guards were like helpless nerfs being led to slaughter. Cuyan Ordo had a smile on his face as he pumped plasma into their bodies. Three of the six men were at his mercy. Two pistols fired continuously into the men. One man was left standing. A blood bath like this, even if Leandros did nothing to the remaining three, would certainly deter any wandering eyes for a while.

"Oya!" Cuyan uttered as he cut the guards down one by one, not even caring how Leandros was doing.

It would be likely as easy for the other Mandalorian as it was for Cuyan. Now that these guards were dispatched the scientist could work in relative peace. Cuyan retreated to the workshop quickly after dispatching the enemies to check in. The man had done it. Disruptor pistols sat on a table looking pristine and dangerous. The drill and explosive contraption had been set up properly as well for the next job. Now they just had to clear out before someone got too curious again.

Cuyan and Leandros executed their ambush with ruthless precision. The guards, disoriented from the concussion grenade, were at their mercy as their attackers burst out of the workshop and sent a hail of bolts their way. Cuyan fired at the guards relentlessly, cutting them down in a flurry of shots. Leandros, on the other hand, methodically and precisely put bolts into the bodies of those Cuyan missed in his frenzy, sending each of his targets to the ground with sizzling holes in their flesh. In the span of a few moments, they were dead; a cluster of corpses lying facedown in the dirt, no longer posing a threat to anyone.

After making sure that all of the men were dead, Leandros walked back into the workshop and looked upon the scientist and his creations. In short order, their violators were constructed alongside a strange pair of devices – a drill and what looked like an enormous bomb. The senior Mandalorian canted his head slightly, studying the device after picking up and stowing his disruptor. It was unusual but explained why the man had brought with him so much equipment for just two guns.

Leandros canted his head somewhat and turned to Cuyan, gesturing to the bomb with his beskad, ”What is this?” he asked, pointing the tip of his weapon at it, ”Is there more you plan on doing?” He awaited the man’s reply, standing between him, the bomb, and the scientist, curious as to what he was doing. Did he plan on robbing a bank? They had all the credits they needed. What more could they want?

Cuyan stowed the new disruptor pistol into his belt before turning to look back to Leandros. It was hard to hide the other contraptions. Therefore, he did not even try to hide them from his fellow Mandalorian. He simply let out a dry chuckle as the goods were loaded back onto the grav sled. The bomb was mighty and imposing. Certainly not something trivial for a bank robbery unless the entire bank was to be vaporized. The Ordo warrior directed the scientist to push it out back towards the ships.

"These are for something else I am working on. A personal project I'm doing on the side." He followed the bomb outside and glanced back to his friend. "Nothing to worry about. Just a nice war toy."

The pair would then be free to leave. Cuyan's ship would load the large explosive device and extra bits. Once loaded, Cuyan would pull the scientists aside to ask how to operate it. Once Leandros was out of sight, leaving in his own ship, the Ordo man would put a blaster bolt between the scientist's eyes to stop him from discussing any further or betraying him. All he had to do now was fly out to deliver the goods and enjoy his new pistol.
