BIOGRAPHY

Hsar (as she prefers to be called) was born from the union of a Theelin female and an otherwise unidentified alien male, hence her unusual appearance and mutation. Like many of her predecessors, Hsar’s mother (Solongo) was active in the musical culture of the Theelin people; she even belonged to the acclaimed religious sects of Divas, hence the forbearing title Hsar inherited. That was really the only thing ever passed on to her because as soon as her mother discovered Hsar’s force sensitivity, she immediately handed her over to the nearest Jedi temple. Solongo seemed to believe having a daughter only hindered her budding fame and acclaim; since then, she never again attempted to make contact with Hsar. The feeling, however, was mutual as the hybrid grew up to become a dedicated member of the Order. Recently knighted, Hsar is content with furthering her duties and expanding her role amongst the Jedi.

PERSONALITY AND APPEARANCE

Though not unfriendly, Hsar is certainly not the most talkative of people. She is usually stoic in the face of most things and rarely allows her emotions to show upon the surface. Some actually find the hybrid Theelin to be quite aloof and ever serious, despite her rather young age. When Hsar does speak, there is no mixing of words. It should also be noted that she doesn't like having her time wasted, and seldom does she ever partake in pointless frivolity; the knight is not shy about expressing her disapproval either.

Whilst Theelin and Theelin hybrids are naturally quite striking as a species, Hsar is somewhat of an anomaly. Where most of her kin are bright in colouration, the Jedi is noticeably devoid of any hues. Her skin, speckled with opalescent patches, is mostly gray and her hair is without pigment (making it appear mainly white). Instead of having rich jewel-like eyes, Hsar’s are a solid, piercing black. One might think her colouration is a result of some mutation but another theory could relate to her paternal lineage. Given her skin tone, the Jedi may have genetic links to a number of other alien species, including but not limited to: Anzat, Umbarran or Nagai. Other than that, she possesses most Theelin features, such as protruding cranial horns.

SKILLS

Whilst Theelin are known for their skills in music, Hsar shows little interest in exploring such pursuits. She also pointedly refuses to sing. In terms of the Force, however, the knight is steadily developing; when given the opportunity, the Jedi hybrid will often meditate for hours upon end. This also extends to her martial training with a double lightsaber. She also frequently partakes in exercises to strengthen her telekinetic abilities.

One of Hsar’s more favored pastimes relates to tinkering with machines and other pieces of technology. She has, in fact, created several of her own gadgets. Flying skills, at the moment, are average.
