Drastus Drahr. Now there was an interesting Padawan. Talented, capable, and funny. Jedi Master Drow Venn found him to be all of those things. But he also knew him to be aggressive, hotheaded and violent at times which, ironically enough, made him the perfect candidate for what Drow had in mind. It wasn't easy approaching Jedi to engage in this clandestine operation of Drow. He and Taldorak had been hard at work destabilizing the Syndicates and Sith and doing it outside of Council approval was no easy task. But if they played their cards right, there was a chance that the entire planet of Eiattu 6 could be liberated and the Sith and Syndicates would be at each other's throats.
He'd invited Drastus here in this clearing of the woods of Yavin IV ostensibly to practice their swordplay but, really he had a much broader purpose in mind; recruitment. Drow had found himself flirting dangerously closer to the Dark Side and the last thing he wanted was for another Jedi to have to do what the Ishi Tib had done to achieve victory over the Sith. But Drastus wasn't like the other Jedi and Drow figured if the boy was headed towards a dark path, the least he could do was direct that anger somewhere a bit more constructive. Maybe by making sure Drastus didn't fall too far into the darkness, he could stop himself from doing it too. He hoped so anyway. After they'd finished dueling, Drow laid out what he had in mind to Drastus.
"...so that's the operation. Cards on the table, this does not have the Council's backing and there's a good chance some crimes will be committed as a result. I need Jedi that can wade into the darkness and walk back out. I need fighters. And I think you fit the bill kid. What do you say?" Drow asked.
