Rayne was crouched low, her full armament clipped to her in various places on her armor, and a pair of binoculars in her hands, the Tuskan Raider camp was just over a kilometer away, and their fires were still burning, or smoldering sending small streams of smoke into the sky above, indicating their existance to any on the outside. These wretched beings were a scourge on the planet, and as such Rayne had received a a contract from a high value V I P to eliminate a massive grouping of these Raiders that had settled recently near his compound. Locating them had been easy enough, just follow the Bantha tracks to the smoke plumes in the sky, simple and easy. The hard part was next.. the systematic elimination of all estimated one hundred Raiders.

Raiders for the most part were known to arm themselves with just slug throwers and not really wear any armor, so as far as combat capabilities went went, a single Raider was nothing more than a nuisance, but that fact changed when they were in mass like this. And come to think of it, Rayne had never seen them in such a massive hoard like this before...

Whatever the savage's reasoning was for settling like this, it didn't matter, she had a job to do.. Because she knew she'd be so heavily outnumbered, Rayne saw fit to reach out for the help of a few others she knew she could count on.. First there was her partner, in crime and otherwise @Brianna Saxon, a deadly warrior, and even more deadly lover.. shooting her a sideways glance Rayne checked that she was ok with a simple nod, before looking over to @Duarte Kelborn, the heavy handed Mandalorian with a pension for putting people down. He was new to the clan, and this was only Rayne's second mission with him, so she was eager to see how he would perform when literally everything they saw was a target.

The suns would rise soon, and with it an unforgiving heat, Rayne hoped to make decently quick work of this contract, but with an enemy with numbers such as this, it was liable they would find themselves in a heavy shoot out, stealth was an option, but once it was blown they would heavily surrounded on all sides, and that didn't suite Rayne..

She looked back to her C 13 - Redjacket, it had dual blaster cannons. And it's speed, at roughly eight hundred and forty kilometers, would give her a solid advantage over these savages as she overtook them, mowing them down with the cannons, and maybe running a few over.

Kad be with us as we eliminate these savages.. Rayne whispered to the other two, there wasn't much movement yet below in the camp, and Rayne hoped they could get a solid jump on them before any sort of retaliation occured... Rayne started to shimmy backwards, before standing up and heading for her armed speeder, Let's mount up.. Rayne called, proclaiming she was ready to start the attack...

@Wayrider @Algarus @Any Mando who wants to lend a hand.

Brianna sat on the front of her Redjacket, as Rayne checked out the camp. She never cared for this planet personally, too dry for her tastes. She glanced over to the new comer, another member of Clan Kelborn, as she was starting to wonder if she had been adopted into the clan when she wasn't looking.

This wasn't the first time she and Rayne had been outnumbered before, but if one thing went wrong with this mission, well, needless to say the idea of fighting a village of Tusken Raiders on foot didn't sound idea; damn bastards would just swarm you.

She looked over to the new comer, smirking. "Hope this isn't your first time doing this. If it is well, let me just tell you it gets a little dicey." She chuckled, before sliding her helmet on as Rayne indicated she was ready. Turning and sitting on her speeder, Brianna glanced over to the woman and gave her a 'thumbs up'.

The two had gone into battle several times now, each time things seemed to get more and more hairy, but there was no one else she trusted more at her side. She could only wait and see what this battle brought them. "Certainty of death, small chance of success, what are we waiting for?" Turning the speeder on, she would follow behind Rayne, as they charged forward.

Duarte viewed the camp at this distance it wasn’t much. He was fully kitted out and had even added two extra magazines for his pistols as well as six more fragmentation grenades. On his own C 13 red jacket Had belly slung two rip lines with 10 fragmentation grenades on each. Simply pulling the line would release the grenades to scatter along his path each set on a five second delay.

Duarte had also installed a Dura steel shield both in front of and behind the pilots cockpit of a speeder. The plating would easily turn aside any slugs used by these Tuscan raider’s. Key in his helmet Mike to their shared frequency he said just remember stay off my six until I park the sled. I’m leaving presents in my path.

He had never worked with Brianna Saxon before but she was Manda Lorrean therefore she would know the difference between a suggestion and a life-saving recommendation. If she was only half as good as he had heard she would make a terrific combat companion.

As soon as they were in range he would open up with his speeder mounted blaster cannons, and drop a sling of grenades on each pass. After his second pass he would then pull his ignition module on effectively killing his sled then they close quarters combat would begin.

Rayne had boarded her C 13 - Redjacket, it's systems all online, and it lifted off the ground. Strapping herself in for the ride, Rayne aimed the armed air speeder toward the sky, after she reached about a kilometer and a half she would angle it to close the distance, toward the camp at a forty five degree angle, her hands on the trigger joy sticks.

Once withing the five hundred meter range, Rayne opened fire, the C 13 - Redjacket's blaster cannons going to work in a strafing manner through the camp, It's time to start this throw down.. Rayne thought, she had a lot riding on this job, and she knew the other two would help her see it through.

Her cannons blasted into several tents on her first run, this was perhaps an unorthodox use of force against a vastly technologically inferior opponents, but Rayne didn't really want to risk the lives of her companions, and she didn't want to take any chances this time.... Though she was finding she'd been saying that to herself more and more lately, and every time she did, things went sideways quicker than a bantha in a mudslide..

Rayne pulled up once she was within twenty meters or so of the camp, flying overhead away, before circling around and coming back in for another run, crossing the line she'd just ran perpendicularly this time, once again, her blaster cannons going to work and laying down massive damage to the leathery tents the Sand people had called home. She knew in the back of her head there were not only men, but also women, and children.. non combatants.. but she suppressed it, this job was about the pay, not about the lives of the currently innocent below that she was taking.. and anyway, they would one day grow up to be just as terrible savages as their parents were.. right? who cares..

Following behind Rayne, Brianna would shift her vehicle several meters away from the back end of her fellow Mandalorian's craft. As they neared the village, Brianna opened fire as well, aiming to the left half of the village perimeter, as her blaster canons tore through the small hut structures. The first run brought with it several destroyed huts, along with the scampering of Tuskens about the village. Brianna could have sworn she could hear their angered roars, despite the sound of the speeder and the wind rushing past her head. Brianna didn't give a damn about them, in her mind they were just dishonorable savages who fled at the sight of a superior opponent. Circling back around for a second pass, she could see the swirl of sand from her first pass still lingering in the air. Once they were done here, there wouldn't be a single structure left standing. Opening fire again, Brianna boosted back towards the village, laser fire dashing towards the now smoking village.

Duarte flying low when he reached five hundred meters going down the right side of camp closest to where the Banthas were tied out began his barrage the cannons on his red jacket had been slightly modified rather than firing both cannons at the same time and then having to cycle he had changed his firing selection to where they fired in sequence one after the next one cannon firing while the other was cycling making a nearly continuous barrage of individual blaster canon bolts.

The Raiders were not stupid but not smart enough. Many who ran into the path of destruction his cannons had made believing they would get a clear shot at him and his speeder died some of them literally standing on the timed grenades that had scattered along his path when he pulled the rip cord. Spinning his speeder around and enjoying the g-forces it applied to his body, raced back.

His second pass was straight through the heart of the encampment. This pass was just as devastating. At least this time a couple slugs had bounced off his speeders armored plates. Spinning his speeder about again he could see that the camp was destroyed not a structure was standing that was fully intact. His companions were good, he thought.

Pulling his ignition module as he reached the edge of the encampment he leapt from his speeder allowing it to coast to a stop. Hitting the ground he rolled twice coming to he’s feet with both pistols in hand. Anything that was armed or armored was now his target, regardless of age or sex.

They were cleaning up nicely, nearly every structure, tent, had either been leveled, or was currently burning. The occasional plink of a slug against the metal of Rayne's air speeder could be heard, but no slugs had managed to pierce the vehicle.

Rayne spotted a small group of them, four or five or so, making a run for it. Angling her speeder towards them she opened fire, straining them as she sped toward them, she watched two of them get hit by her blaster cannons, and the head of another one made a thud sound against the bottom of the red jacket as she rammed it. She shuddered a bit, That must of hurt.. She whispered to herself.

She pulled the speeder to a near stop and turned around, one was left of the escapees, that wouldn't do.. opening fire she launched the ship directly at it, she'd hit it twice by the time she got close to the raider, and collided with it, sending it's body flying over the top of her speeder as she returned to the camp to continue firing on anything that moved.

Duarte had seemingly dismounted his craft and was engaging Tuskens in combat. While Brianna understood his need for close quarters, she also knew that Tuskens typically won by swarming their targets rather than with skill. Blazing back towards the towers of smoke, Brianna unleashed another burst of cannon fire, knocking over what she believed might have been a watch post of some sort. With Rayne mopping up one side of the village, and Bri working the other side, and with Duarte attacking from the ground, it seemed like this village would be finished in no time. Half way through her second pass, Brianna began to be pelted with slugs from the primitive Tusken weapons. She put it aside, letting the small rounds bounce off the plates, though one struck her in the shoulder plate and gave her a nice pitch right above the collarbone. Little bastards were persistent if nothing else. Brianna spotted her attackers, and swept back around just to face them, opening fire with her speeder's weapons to remove them from the equation. This was getting a little tiring however, as the Mandalorian began to think about dismounting and exchanging blows with the Tusken survivors.

It was going just as Duarte had expected when he dismounted his speeder many of the remaining Tuscans begin charging toward him thinking him an easy target. This had two significant effects on the outcome of this battle one the idiots started grouping together make in the cannon fire of his companions that much more effective. And two it brought the remaining combatants out into the open saving him the effort of having to go search for them and whatever And two it brought the remaining combatants out into the open saving him the effort of having to go search for them and whatever borro they found. they found.

He fired his rifle dry dropping hey significant number of the poorly armored Raiders. Reloading his rifle he dropped it and drew both pistols and continued firing. When both pistols were dry he changed clips and then re-holstered drying out his best When both pistols were dry he changed clips and then re-holstered drying out his Beskars. He was both surprised and dismayed by how poorly trained and organized the Raiders were. They were so busy running and shooting they had emptied their weapons and we’re now closing for Close quarters and they had only managed to hit him once with a light slug which carromed off the chest plate of his heavy armor.

He began laughing as the Tuscans closed His right hand blade completely taking the head off of one continuing through to and across the throat of a second raider.

Rayne was going in for another pass when she saw that both @Duarte Kelborn and @Brianna Saxon had parked and exited their air speeders. Rayne would have preferred to go on foot, but figured it was safer to have the crew in air speeders, and now that Bri had exited hers, there was no way Rayne was gonna let her Wife to be be alone on the battlefield, that's what marriage is about right? A couple who slays together is a couple who stays together..

Rayne brought the Redjacket to ground level, cannon fire aimed at areas away from the other two Mandalorians, until she parked beside Bri's speeder and jumped out, her repeater now in hands as she marched toward Bri's location, squeezing off two bolts as she saw movement, her target being a lone raider who was fighting his way out of a collapsed tent.

On foot? Rayne asked Bri once she got close, I like it.. she added.

Brianna decided to dismount now, feeling annoyed at being shot by a Tusken Raider. She pulled her repeater out of it's place in the back of the speeder and swept a burst of fire at a charging pair of Tuskens, dropping the two of them as they were riddled with shots. Stepping out of the speeder, Brianna let her repeater hang at her side, as she drew her blaster pistols now, exchanging shots with the Tuskens that seemed to be at distance, only for him to be dispatched by Rayne. She smirked and shook her head as her wife to be neared. "Well, I thought it'd be good cardio. Need to lose some weight if you want me to put that dress on." She chuckled, knowing there was no way in hell Rayne was getting her into a dress. "Did John put you up to this little job? Or another one of your 'friends'?" She grinned under her helmet, moving forward with her pistols, her eyes checking for any more oncoming raider. It seemed they were making headway on this operation. Sooner they got home, the sooner she and Rayne could start planning out the wedding.

Duarte found the banter between his companions amusing. One Tuscan raider attempted to hit him with his staff which only caused Duarte to laugh even louder. Duartes armor and helmet were bathed in blood and his Beskars drenched In blood and gore. He stepped forward to meet his next opponent a slight figure for a Tuscan raider not even bothering to give it the honor of a clean death he simply smashed hit the pommel of his Beskar down on the top of the creatures head. Flattening it with a single blow.

A slug bounced off his helmet snapping his head back. Dropping in his right hand Beskar point down into the ground he drew and fired his pistol killing the raider. The other Raiders slowed on seeing him with a pistol in hand, shrugging he re-holstered and recovered his Beskar from the earth which the tip had buried itself. He realized that most of them must be out of ammunition having not been able to fully equip after being surprised by the dawn attack.

Saluting his enemies with a flourish Duarte then shouted, ”Up Beskars and clear the field Death walks among you!”

Rayne, after firing a few more bolts from her repeater into the chest and neck of a charging raider, looked around, the dust had settled, while the fires were still burning, all the temporary structures had been burnt down, and one semi-permanent watch tower had been brought down courtesy of Bri, and Duarte was finishing off the last one in sight, there were probably more, there always were, but this encampment had been utterly destroyed, only remnants and corpses were left where life once was.

Her repeater was still at her shoulder, aimed and raised, looking for a target to put bolts in, to her dismay, none could been seen.

The sun had cracked open the sky, and the camp was fully visible with day light revealing it all. Does anyone have a visual? Rayne called to her companions, she didn't want to risk turning her back just to have a slug fired at her.

After several moments with no movement about the area, Rayne decided she was satisfied with the work they had done, and lowered her repeater. Mount up.. Rsyne said, walking back to her air speeder, effectively calling it a day.

Once there, she boarded and closed the lid. Punching the thrusters and sailing toward the sky, her ship was her destination, then payment..

"I don't see anything." Brianna commented, as she checked her area as well. It looked like that was all of the Tuskens. Holstering her blaster pistols, she would double back to her speeder. The sight of the smoldering huts and Tusken corpses wasn't pretty, but in Brianna's mind the bastards had it coming. They were hardly warriors, if anything they were savages who fought whenever it was a convenient and easy battle. Strapping into her speeder, Brianna commed over to Rayne as she fell into line with her bride to be, leaving their monument of destruction in her wake.
"So, I'm thinking after this, we can start trying to plan out this wedding. I'm sure you got a list of people you want in attendance." She said, as if they hadn't just massacred an entire village. To Brianna, there wasn't anything that bothered her about this. Tuskens were a plague that needed to be stamped out. With the sand behind strewn up behind the speeder, and the sun glaring down upon her, Brianna was glad to leave this place behind.

Duarte finished the last Tuscan with a thrust to heart. Picking up a winding rag from the raiders corpse Duarte carefully cleaned one blade then the other. Inspecting them for any damage he then re sheathed each in turn all the while scanning the area. There were no signs of movement with the exception of the banthas. Cutting the beasts free and cutting the saddles off the ones that were already saddled he let beasts free to make their own way out of the desert. Duarte by his estimation had based on the banthas and tents figured there were closer to one hundred and twenty.

Brianna and Rayne were done and satisfied as he that they were all dead and if any had managed to escape they would not be any type of threat for a very long time. Mounting his speeder he acknowledged Rayne’s order to bug out. Tapping his helmet microphone he said “ I’m going to make circuits at one hundred, three hundred and five hundred meters, and check for any possible stragglers.”

There were none to be found however no one had ever accused Duarte of being anything less than thorough. He then headed back to his own ship and left the hot sand behind for coldness of space.

Rayne had hit cruising altitude for the short flight back to her ship, and replied to Bri, I've been compiling a list of yes's and no's, but that's a good plan, plus we gotta find you a dress... Rayne said.

Duarte hat broken off to sweep up the area, which was fine, but Rayne was fine the mission was a success, and she wanted to get off this sandy hell hole of a planet.
