BackgroundInformation

House Drevyn is an old house that has barely managed to survive the years. Desmond Drevyn the second, father of Donquixote Drevyn and grandfather of Dominique Drevyn, nearly single-handedly brought down the destruction of their ancient House. His grandfather was simply an idiot, one who spent most of his time spending money instead of making it. After the death of Desmond, Donquixote became Lord of House Drevyn, and set out to restore House Drevyn’s reputation. Donquixote planned to accomplish this feat through various political manevours, arranged marriage, offering his children as wards, and creating connections with stronger elites. Most of Donquixote’s attempts were in vain and he was titled the “Lord of Beggars”, a cruel title placed upon him by noble lord who refused to accept one of Donquixote’s marriage alliances

Born and raised in the Drevyn ancestral home of Calistaire, Donquixote married a semi-wealthy or well-off businesswoman by the name of Malryli Linsmill. Through this marriage, Donquixote managed to keep a strong-hold on their ancestral home and afford the education that his children needed and expected of a nobleman of Serenno. Dominique was the third son, but the only child of Donquixote Drevyn and Malryli to be force sensitive. Due to his status of force sensitive, Donquixote made Dominique the heir to House Drevyn, much to the frustration of Dominique’s old brothers. Donquixote viewed Dominique as the last hope for the Drevyn family to become a notorious and powerful household once again, namely, Dominique’s force sensitivity. For that reason, most of Donquixote’s attention and focus was placed on Dominique, and he made sure that his third son was given the finest education that he could pursue. From an early age, Dominique felt pressured from his father to be absolutely perfect and brilliant, and for that reason, he did not have an average childhood. Nor did Dominique spend much of his time with his siblings, as his father was too busy grooming him. Dominique was pushed to succeed and excel throughout his schooling within various prestigious academies throughout the planet of Serenno, and after basic and advance education, Donquixote pushed his son into the prestigious Serennian Sith Academy.

PersonalInformation

Ambitious, driven, and merciless, are three words that can be used to describe Dominique Drevyn. Dominique has been molded by his father since he had shown an affinity for the force, and for that reason, he both resents and resembles Donquixote. Just like his dad, Dominique is cold, calculated, and reserved, which has admittedly made the study of Sith philosophy a bit difficult to grasp and understand. You see, reckless passion and overindulgence had nearly brought House Drevyn to ruin, Desmond Drevyn had been an emotional fool whose reckless spending and wastefulness tarnished House Drevyn’s reputation and drained them dry. For that reason, Donquixote has made sure that his children embody a more reserved attitude and kept their emotions in check or redirected towards more productive outlets. Dominique by consequence embodies this collected and pragmatic mindset his father so desired. With that being said, this does not mean that Dominique is incapable of expressing rage or anger, and when placed under extreme stress he does break however, what this does mean is that Dominique’s anger is cold and tempered like steel. While he does not seem like it, Dominique is actually an emotional kid, one who feels a bit too deeply at times. With that being said, most of his life has been spent hiding his emotions, all the while adopting a stoic demeanor.

When it comes to his skills and abilities, Dominique is incredibly intelligent, perceptive, and manipulative. His father taught him the basics of diplomacy and intrigue, and on the other hand, his mother taught him various business skills and lessons. All in all, Dominique was raised and groomed to take over House Drevyn, and return his ancient house to its rightful glory. Therefore, all of the needed education and training was given to him beforehand. When it comes to battle and the force, Dominique has been taught basic marksman skills. Dominique’s force abilities are relatively untrained, but he does seem to be a natural at mental and sensory abilities, and he does hold an affinity for the more esoteric aspects of the force.
