The Deep Core was awash with problems as the galaxy seemed to drift further and further into war.

On Ojom the government is locked in crisis, members of the opposition have walked out on parliament, shutting down debate on the Prime Ministers newly proposed trade bill with the deep core, hoping to foster greater cooperation between the worlds. But others are opposed to such a step, for more than a variety of reasons, some good, some bad. They are at an impasse, and the shutting down of government is beginning to affect the wider running of the planet.

With such a critical state emerging, the government of Ojom has moved into emergency talks, set to determine the fate of the bill once and for all, and keep government moving. It’s for this reason the Jedi have been asked to act as mediators and arbitrators, and help see the matter settled,

“... Ojom needs your help, and I know you’d both been looking for ways to expand your skills, perhaps here will be a good way to do so. Help them decide, help them make peace between themselves and keep government running. Ojom needs this. But I have faith in you” Vollens face smiled over the holo-comm, buzzing in the hands of the two Jedi who stepped up to the task. It was time to be Jedi,

“May the Force be with you, good luck!”

The time had come for the Jedi to live up to their desire for Grug to become more of a diplomat. Ojom was not some dream destination nor was it a big important meeting between Jedi and another party. They were starting him off fairly light with this neutral world that needed a mediator. Grug figured he could handle that well enough. He brought Jubba with him as usual for this adventure. The pair needed a reputation as more than just fighters of evil. This was their chance to prove they were good Jedi beyond the battlefield as well. Any dispute this planet had would get its but kicked by the wondrous pair.

"Grug am do best. Force am be with you too." The Gamorrean grunted back before turning off the holo-comm.

A small delegation of locals soon met the Jedi at the pad as they began to enter. Grug and Jubba had made certain to seem good for these outsiders. It was rare for Grug to clean up, but he had allowed himself to be fully bathed before this meeting. The unfortunate Jedi Initiate assigned to the task must have done something to really piss off his master. On top of that, the Gamorrean Jedi had experimented with what he and Jubba aptly named 'Diplomacy Paste', which was a mixture of nutrients that helped reduce the extreme gas and stench from Grug. He was not feeling gassy at all and he did not radiate as horrifying of a smell as usual. The morrts seemed displeased with this so they mostly hid in his armpits. This also helped his appearance.

"Grug am hate be this clean," he muttered to Jubba just before the delegates got close enough, before greeting them. "Greeting. Am Grug. This Jubba. We ams Jedi sent to help negotiate."

It would be interesting to see how they responded to a couple of the strangest Jedi in the Order. Hopefully they would not see it as an insult. Grug had acquired some fame though so it was likely they had heard of the Gamorrean Jedi already. Grug could only hope this went well so the Masters would see that he was ready to move up. He wanted to serve the order better but was held back by things like this not being on his service record. That would all change now.

Jubba had purposefully washed up six times to ensure that he had reached every spot and crease, which was no easy feat for the large Hutt. The Jedi had chosen masterfully for this mission, the pair were well known for their negotiation talents in the art of negotiation. Jubba wore his bestest new robes that had been specifically made for him as the Hutt tapped his friend on the shoulder in appreciation.

"Grug am impressed. Loa heard Grubba gud werds."

When they arrived to meet the delegation, Jubba held out his hand to shake theirs and unsurprisingly the offer was accepted without delay. It seemed that word of their coming had been rightfully well received and the pair would be quite welcomed for the engagement. Jubba was excited to finally be on a mission with Grug that wouldn't likely begin with shooting or cutting down trees.

"Hi." was all Jubba could think to say initially.
