Donatello Firenze

Origin: Born to two Echani of unknown name and origin, Donatello was left at the doorsteps of a monastary on the planet of Reecee with a note attached reading "Donatello Firenze". The monastery, hidden in the thick of the brush, raised Donatello as a monk. He was nursed by the monks and was taught how to speak, read, and write at an early age. For fun, Donatello would often play with other children who were initiated into the monastery. And at the age of seven, he was paired with a master and guardian by the name of Gitsua. Gitsua raised Donatello with the knowledge he had aquired about the world,as he was once an avid traveller. Reading, writing, arithmetic, religion, even war. The monks were a peaceful people, seeing the gun as weapon orchestrated for the cowardly. Donatello embraced this philosophy when he was shownn a demonstration of the horrible effects of a laser rifle on a peice of large steel. Meditation and sword mastery were used to hone not only Donatello's body and skill, but also his mind. at the age of eighteen, Donatello felt he was ready to travel outside the temple. So he left the monastery, saying goodbye to all his old friends and his master, and all the people who raised him. He swore one day he would return to the near-human temple of Quisar when he felt he had learned enough about the world.
As he entered the busy streets of the metropolises of his home planet, outside the forests, he felt strangely at home. With the thousand credits given to him by his master before he left, he rented a taxi to Corescant. He quickly found a security detail job on the Republic homeworld, working for a shipping company as a night watch man. That's when he met his wife. They shared seven consecutive service days in a row. With his money from working, Donatello soon found a nice apartment uptown, where he made his abode. He decorated in the fashion of his old, jungle themed temple. Aside from work, and the occasional date with Mallorie ( after weeks of "monk boy's begging" they hit if off), Donatello made it a point to keep himself physically fit and aware, training every day, the same way he had at the temple. Eventually, after countless encounters and morning-afters, Mallorie exclaimed she was pregnant. Donatello was a happy man. and after the birth of his child, and one year of settling down, he finally asked Malloriw to marry him. She eagerly said yes. and wihin the presence of a Temple Preist, his fellow monks, and Mallories mother (her only living realtive) they were pronounced husband and wife. Three years of freelance guard work later, Donatello has finally determined that he needs a higher paying job. When approached by Cypher of Jade Galactic, and offered a high paying security job and a home in Upper City, donatello humbly accepted.
Personality: Donatello was raised to be very respectable. As such he gives the upmost respect towards elders, and those of authority. Often, he seems to be brown-nosing, but in reality, it is just part of his demanor. On the job, he's a very serious man, taking **** from noone, following procedure, and proceeding to do what's best for the company. A humble employee, he never abuses his power. colleagues and workers view him as an authority figure, but one who truly feels for those who work under him, which he does.
Outside of work, Donatello is very passionate about his family, his wife of three years Malarie, and his daughter of four years, Julie. Often, he spoils them to no end, using half his paycheck on his family, and the other half on bills. A religious man, he takes no happiness from ending lives, but does his job quite efficiently. He feels he's doing good by the world and by god. Has a strong hatred for guns, feeling they are unessecary for real men. Even his own custom pistol is used only as a last resort, or against an opponent at long range.

Physiological
Appearance: A tall. pale Echani with prominent cheeks. A well tone, bleached body, his height makes him a larger target. He makes up for this with strong legs, capable of closing distances quickly. His hair is gelled and shiny, short and spiky. Very clean cut, Donatello shaves daily and spends several minutes a day fixing his hair.
Attire: When at work, on a daily basis, Donatello wears a formal tux. First, a long sleeved, white, pinstripe collar shirt, is placed over a white tank top. On top of that, is a black, bullet proof vest, styled to look like a tuxedo vest, designed by Jade Galactic. Every day, Donatello receives a fresh outfit delivered to his home, early in the morning. A red tie is always worn around his neck, and he usually wears a black dress jacket over the ensemble. On his head he wears a black Fedora witha white wrap around the bulk. Accesory wise, Donatello wears a concealed black communications link in his ear, which can relay message between him, his colleagues, and HQ. Donatello wears normal socks and underwear, but his black loafers are more than meeets the eye. A small, retractable knife is hidden right under the shoe. It can be brought out by a simple click of the heels, making Donatello's already lethal kicks, more deadly. a two inch, cortosis, durasteel razor sharp blade, it can peirce though armor with a hard enough kick. The scarf he wears holds no tactical purpose, and is merely there to add a cosmetic flair to his wardrobe.

Capabilities: Hayabusa, a sword style created by the monks, is not only a fighting style, but also a way of life, focusing heavily on meditation and concentration. The sword style originated from an ancient, now extinct, blind race. It often instigates the use of the sheath in battle, often proposing to use the none lethal, flexibility of the sheath over the blade itself. As apat of guard work, donatello took part in daily, high intensity traing regiments, where he showed his colors as a profficient marksman, and hand to hand fighter. His style of martial arts, Sila Gua, aalso originated with the monks, as simple counter, to lethal bone breakking, takedown manuevers. very similar to the Echani martial art, this style is more accurate than aggresive, amking death counts hire, but fatality counts lower, as any one technique is only effective if done perfectly or close to perfect.

Blade Type: Katana
This blade was hand crafter specifically for Donatello at fourteen. As part of the monk culture, at the age of fourteen, a child will take his katana, and use it to defend from wild animals for several days. If he could survive, then the blade was given a name, and a tatoo of the name's symbol is palced on the child's chest. As Donatello returned from the forest, his cortosis-durasteel blend blade blood red from batttle, it was given the name Oni, or Demon in monk language, as Donatello had slain nearly a thousand hostile animals in his travels. A circular tatoo representing Oni was placed on Donatello's chest.

Donatello's pistol is a lighter, less powerful version of Cypher's handgun, as it was originally his backup. This gun was crafted by high class gunsmiths in the Jade Galactic Weapons Research Department. It fires a lower, but still powerful, .387, cortosis coated, hollow tip, Lasena round. Donatello usually carried two reloads on him, one in each coat pocket.
