This was the first time Valentine had performed in an event like this, life day overall. He had the life of the soldier and that's what his experience of it extended to, usually holding a small celebration in camp and having an excuse to drink and get drunk without any trouble. With the freedom of being a Jedi however, he decided to join in the festivities and flew to the planet of Kashyyyk to see what the buzz was about. Val could immediately feel the difference in the force, it flowing freely and letting it go through him as he closed his eyes and absorbed it.

With the recent run-in with Sith, even on this planet, Val kept his signature suppressed once more. He just wanted to enjoy the relative peace of the situation as he stood on one of the wooden bridges connected between the buildings that hung in the trees. A multitude of people passed him none the wiser of what he was, just in snug fitting robes with his weapons hidden like usual. Val thought the hiding of his nature wouldn't bother him so much, having spent so many years without but somehow it did. He didn't how to describe it, maybe it was the feeling that he was trying to help everyone and he had to hide his efforts from them as well. Or it was just that he couldn't have true freedom of what he was. Val chuckled mostly to himself, rubbing his eyes before sighing as he realized it was pointless to think about.

Opening his eyes, he stared down at the river below as some boats raced by, spraying water everywhere on the people below that wanted a closer look. Everybody was in spirit and Val cast his gaze to the nearby cantina, it packed to the brim with business on an event like this. The idea of getting drunk and losing control of his actions right now didn't sound the most appealing to him. Pushing off the railing he slowly made his way over to it, the cantina usually providing a good source of entertainment whether intentionally or not.

“For the kriffing credits I’m dropping on this, this shit better be good,” Raz grumbled, her helmet on as always. Solus was gaining quite a rep on this planet for all their help in hunting trandoshans. Though historically alienist, the clan was slowly beginning to change its ways to adopt new members into the family. The planet Kashyyyk was located strategically in between the spaces of both the Old Empire and the Republica. Naturally, this meant it served as the best place to set up a base for the fearless clan.

Raz had just returned from cleaning out an entire outpost of Trandoshans. There had been many of them and some of her men were injured, but they all made it out alive. She made her way over to a cantina to celebrate and bring some spice back for the others. Raz was already buzzed from a few drinks and standing in a corner to broker a deal to get her hands on some purple lotus.

“Nothin but the best for a Solus,” The rodian gave her a toothy grin as he held up the crushed and refined drug before slipping it towards her. Raz grumbled to herself, but could find no reason to argue. She dug around in a pouch on her person to fish out some credits. Between her clan coming into prominence and her side gig as a bounty hunter, she wasn’t hurting for money. Of course, she had a habit of spending it on stupid things like drugs and alcohol.

“Give me your entire stock.”

“What?” The Rodian’s eyes were as wide as saucers. Raz scowled, “Did I stutter?”

“No.. I…” He blurted random words before forking over more of his supply and looking at the stacks of credits she was handing him. He took his time inspecting it, convinced that something had to be off for her to give so much money. Raz ignored him, taking out her spice spliff (shaped like a tiny T shape to represent the visor) to begin ingesting the drugs she bought.

As Val neared the cantina he stopped dead in his tracks, feeling a familiar signature inside that made him drop his head. It had been a few days and already he had run across her again. Val glanced around, debating for a few seconds whether he should really head inside or just keep walking to another side of the entire section. Once he knew he stepped through the door, he wouldn't hear the end of it over something she saw. But then again, a Sith did tell her he loved her and that was a strange enough sight in itself that made him curious. After an internal discussion, Val eventually gave up his resistance and made his way inside the cantina.

When he entered, it was even more crowded than outside. All of the tables were filled up with a variety of different races while a band played in the center with live music. Despite all the noise, he could still feel Raz's signature pulsate and he slowly walked towards it, dodging shoulders and other body parts as he did. Val found Raz in the corner of the establishment and sitting with a Rodian, the man handing over a package while she handed him a stack of credits. She bent her head down and saw her snort the contents on the table which made Val scoff softly before stepping into the war zone, "Glad to see you partake in such healthy activities Pip." Val gave her a dazzling smile that only she would know would be a shit-eating one.

The Rodian glanced between the two of them before back to Val who just jutted his head in a random direction,
"You have all your credits, go." While Val personally didn't mind drugs, he still wasn't the biggest fan of the whole operation that ran it. Sitting down in the seat that was previously occupied, Val brought his gaze over to Raz. "It's a pleasure to see you... again. Have you and the lucky Sith reconciled since your last meeting?" The sarcasm was dripping in his voice, obviously curious about her whole hate for the Empire and yet one of its children is in love with her. "Love is a precious thing."

Raz took that first hit and immediately felt an explosion hit all her senses at once. It was the sweetest smell, and she saw a kaleidoscope of colors, the music moving through her body and the feeling of euphoria hitting her at once. Her helmet was off, her hair falling to her shoulders, and she knew the drugs were worth the credits. Raz tilted back in her chair and gazed up at the ceiling, a lazy smile on her face.

They were making friends with wookiees, they were doing successful hits against the Sith, and her clan was growing more and more every day. It was a damn good day to be a Solus, and a damn good day to celebrate. Raz took two drinks for herself off a passing by tray, reaching over to smack the twi’lek woman’s ass as she passed. The woman turned around curiously, catching Raz winking at her. The twi’lek simply giggled and walked off, Raz’s gaze following her. Naturally her line of sight was suddenly blocked by a familiar face she hadn’t expected to run into again so soon.

She drew from the spliff again, wiping her nose before looking at Val, “A better pass time than your constant hobby of getting your teeth kicked in by Sith,” Raz grinned as she slid over the extra drink over to him. It was a local Kashyyyk special, ‘strong enough to get to a wookiee’. She clinked her glass against his before pausing, “Wait, are you people allowed to drink?” She chuckled to herself.

She was in the middle of downing her drink when he commented next. Raz almost choked on the drink, shooting him a glare, “That ain’t any of your business,” She took another sip, “Don’t see me askin about you and your ladyfriend. Blocked my damn view. I didn't even know you people were allowed to bump uglies.”

Valentine laughed softly as he opened his hand to catch the drink that slid into it. The smell of spice permeated around them and he simply pushed it from his mind, studying the drink in his hand. When she clinked theirs together and asked if he drank, Val gave her a smirk before lifting the glass and taking a swig of the drink. "I was in the military Pip, of course I drink." It was weird seeing Pip totally relaxed, each time they have met being in combat where she was fully armed and ready to kill somebody. When she nearly choked on her drink it made him chuckle with the glare being icing on top, "Oh, I didn't know."

When Raz mentioned Aurora, his "ladyfriend" he arched his eyebrow at her being learning forward, "And why were you so focused on me and my ladyfriend Pip?" Val grinned before taking another sip of his drink, "She's not a ladyfriend, she works for the Alliance and needed quick thinking in order to try and get out." He wasn't really one to be touchy with girls as he spent most of his life with a squad of men and in combat. Val could use the mission as the excuse to do it so that it came naturally to him and of course Raz had to be there just in time to spot it. "Talking about bumping uglies? You're the one into prosthetic legs and masks, I would worry more about yourself then me right now Pip." Val could admit that her taste could have have been better but everybody was different and he wouldn't judge her for it.

The band picked up at the sight of more people entering the establishment, picking a more jovial song as the already drunk participants danced more to the beat. Some Wookies gave a howl before drinking more and slamming their arms on the table. Val watched as the light show also picked up to before he glanced over to the pouch of drugs right next to Raz,
"So, business for Clan Solus seems to be very profitable huh?" The same Twi'lek waitress came back, offering Raz a couple more drinks and one to Val as she gave a sultry smile to Raz before heading off to serve more people. Val glanced between the two to of them as the woman walked off before slowly nodding, "Well... you have interesting tastes."

She was still leaned back in her seat, tilting her head to look at him as he mentioned he was in the military. Even then, he was probably the biggest prude of the bunch, the thought making her chuckle to herself. Raz finished her drink and grabbed another glass, still blazed out of her mind from the spice. She was in a happy place, and she couldn’t be her usual grumpy self right now. As he spoke, she quirked an eyebrow at him.

“I was trying to aim at a bounty behind you lovebirds,” She grinned at his explanation of how it wasn’t a ladyfriend, “No need to be ashamed, Mud, you did good for yourself,” Raz heard the music pick up around them, dancing starting in the distance. Life Day was a time to get completely trashed and enjoy yourself, and that’s exactly what people were doing. She drummed her fingers to the beat, once again surprised by his next commentary about her tastes. Raz acted in the blink of an eye, batting her hand towards him after taking some of the spice in her hand. The result was an explosion of the refined powder that suddenly landed on his face and neck.

Raz chuckled to herself at the sight before she leaned in close. Her face was near the crook of his neck just enough for him to feel her breath tickle his skin. She lingered there for just a moment as she sniffed in the spice on his skin and took a hit right there, whispering quietly against his ear, “I ain’t worried about me. Are you?” She didn’t wait for answer before she drew back and spun on her heel.

The twi’lek was there by then and Raz took her hand, leading her to the dance floor. She had a drink in one hand, drinking from it as she danced and swayed with the woman. Raz moved to the groove, putting thoughts of war, battles and Sith far away from her mind.

This was different then he was used to and Val knew it was the alcohol he probably had to thank for that. She was a lot more talkative than before, usually the previous conversations there was an invisible wall between the two of them of some sort. Val couldn't really identify what it was but now it seemed to have completely vanished. When he heard her use the nickname she made for it made him chuckle, having not heard it in a long time and Raz the only one that still really calls him it. It was the first time he had thought about that occurrence with the Sith since leaving that sector, remembering having to kiss Aurora. Hopefully, he didn't scare her off already from the Alliance already but before he could think any more Raz demanded his attention.

Val cast a curious glance to her hand before suddenly she blew the spice right towards his face. He snapped his head to the right, feeling the spice spray along the nape of his neck and the side of his cheek. Some of the flecks nearly got in his eye and a sudden small surge of rage came through and he was getting ready to stand up. That's when all of a sudden he felt her breath against his neck and the closeness of her body. Val took a sharp intake of breath as he closed his hand into a fist tightly, the hairs on the back of his neck standing up. Val felt for lips press against his ear lightly before whispering him the question, Val still pretty much frozen in his seat. When she spun on her heel to and found the Twi'lek to pull her to the dance floor, Val finally eased a little before chuckling softly and wiping the spice off his neck and face. "Yeah, a little." He murmured the answer softly to himself as his gaze landed on Raz and the Twi'lek.

Raz seemed to be enjoying herself and Val just sat there watching, tapping his finger against the glass of his drink to the beat. After a few moments, he realized it was weird if someone just saw him staring down two girls dancing so Val cleared his throat as he glanced around before standing up. Already having a drink in his hand, Val just turned and made his way to the outside balcony. It was pretty much empty outside compared to the inside of the cantina. Stepping over to the railing, Val rested his free hand on the railing as he just stared out at the vast forest and rivers. The moon was starting to glow brighter and it reflected off the water from the rivers, the night accentuating the various lights all throughout the forest for the various activities.

Val didn't really have anyone to bring with him to enjoy what Kashyyyk offered, the other Jedi were too busy doing their own things. And his usual group of friends was Rab, Hops, Tin and the others and he didn't know where any of them were now. Val sighed softly before just lifting his glass to his lips and downing the rest of the drink. Jedi life is certainly glamorous, Val thought to himself before tossing the glass to the side without looking, using the force to help it land cleanly and smoothly on a nearby table.

Raz was having the time of her life, and she held the twi’lek close. Her hand snaked down the woman’s body, resting on the small of her back as she danced against her. The music was pumping, the spice was in her system and she smelled the sweet perfumes of the people around her. She closed her eyes and swayed and pressed close against the twi’lek that gave into the moment just like she did. Thoughts of war were pushed back and she had no concerns at that moment.

She took another drink from her glass, the alcohol beginning to hit her hard now. She was entirely in the groove, thoughts of everything else melting away. It was just her and this woman, and it was just the fog around her. She twirled the woman and pulled her in close. They gazed into each others’ eyes and a slow smile began to spread across her face as she leaned in. She was mere inches away when a loud noise erupted nearby. Raz growled and pulled back, looking up just in time to see a bar fight erupt.

A large man just punched the rodian from earlier, and the rodian’s new customer was not thrilled about that. Soon the man broke a bottle and attempted to stab the large man. In no time, shouts and yells erupted and bottles went flying everywhere. Raz pushed the twi’lek woman behind her as a bottle came sailing their way. She batted it out of the way and groggily made her way towards the scene.

She saw a man pinning the rodian and she physically yanked him off, bringing in a punch to collide with the side of his face. This was just in time for another man to get involved and try to hit her from the side. Raz was sluggish, but so was everyone else, and she stumbled out of the way so the man moved with his punch and fell forward, hitting the table.

Outside, the serenity was interrupted as a man flew out of the cantina and into the balcony. He collided against the railing next to Val, slumping down and singing drunkenly to himself. Val would hear nothing but screaming, and he’d find Raz in the middle of it all whipping around to headbutt someone in the face and their nose bleeding profusely.

Valentine couldn't help but have his mind drift back to Raz, instinctively rubbing his neck as if there was more spice there. They were on shaky ground at best but that was a complete switch. Of course, she was drunk and high so he guessed he shouldn't be too shocked by it but she did seem to know what she doing. While Valentine stared at the peace the planet provided, suddenly there was the sound of glass breaking before shouting followed soon after. He glanced behind him for a quick second before returning his view to the riverfront, expecting a small-time fight that would be settled in a few minutes. But a few moments after that a man threw through the glass door that was already slid open before crashing right next to Val's feet. The man groaned before his head slumped over and eventually his entire body to the ground.

Raising his gaze from his new company he found Raz now in the middle of a bar fight and headbutting someone before blood squirted out of his nose. Val had no clue how the woman was able to sniff drugs off his neck and seduce a waitress before being the center of the bar fight. Letting out a sigh, Val gave one last glance to the view, "Here we go," Walking back into the cantina and stepping over the broken glass, Val simply walked towards Raz through the fighting, stopping if someone stepped in his way or simply pushing a weapon safely way if it came in towards his direction. Val eventually arrived at where Raz was, either fighting the same man or someone new he couldn't really tell. "I can't leave you alone for three seconds can't I?" He asked casually while leaning against a table while Raz fought off another man that wanted to join in on trying their hand on a Solus.

Val subtly built the force into his hand, as he helped trip another man that was about to come in to tackle her. Everyone was drunk so it wasn't hard to believe that nobody could simply just stand on their feet. That was as far as his participation could go before the Rodian that sold Raz drugs before suddenly came behind him and smashed a bottle over Val's head. Pieces of glass went everywhere but Val slowly turned around to the Rodian who stood there fully expecting to knock him out with the simple glass. Without hesitation, before the Rodian could run Val sent a jab right into the mans' throat, the Rodian making choking noises before the Jedi simply grabbed his head and slammed it against the table to knock him out.

Val was covered in alcohol and without thinking, he instantly looked over to Raz with the look of, Thanks for getting me into this shit too. He actually didn't know if she started the fight but everywhere she went some type of fighting broke out and she bought the man's drugs so he blamed her. Val whipped around as another man rushed towards him with his arms outstretched. The Jedi simply dipped below and rammed his shoulder into the man's gut, flipping him over as his back slammed into the counter before sliding off onto the other side. Val chuckled,
"I see why you enjoy this so much now." A Twi'lek came up to this time, obviously drunk as Val had an easy time stepping away from the man's punches.

Raz was having a blast. Getting into fistfights was nothing new to her, and she fit right in. She dodged a couple swings, ducking beneath them and slamming someone in the ribs. She narrowly avoided a man coming at her with a broken bottle, and she caught the man’s wrist. She twisted and yanked him down, just in time for another man to hit him with a chair. Grinning, she looked up and high fived the man with the chair before whirling around to punch another man in the face.

By now, a few Trandoshans had entered to cause trouble, screams and shouts erupting all around them. She dropped another man just in time to hear Val’s voice. She eyed him curiously as a man that was rushing towards her suddenly ate it out of the blue. Raz couldn’t help but shake her head, “Is this to make up for me being your hero the other day?” She chuckled before whirling around to engage a different man.

A man much larger than her easily picked her up and tossed her across a table. Raz cursed as she landed, toppling over backwards and managing to land in a crouch. She looked up to see the man barreling towards her. Raz ignored the growing bump on the side of her head, picking up a bottle and hurtling it right at the man. He just kept running and the bottle collided harshly against his head and he dropped.

She rushed back to the scene, Val now surrounded by two Trandoshans. Raz decked one that was about to turn on the Jedi to attack. She ducked beneath an incoming punch and hit him in the face again. He caught her wrist that time and came in with a punch of his own, colliding with her face. She jolted to the side, spitting out blood before she came in with an uppercut to knock him back. She followed up with a knee right between his legs to drop him.

That was when a bunch of giant wookieees came shrieking and had their bowcasters out. They began to shoot at anyone fighting and Raz ducked to the side as a Trandoshan dropped dead next to her. She grabbed her helmet with one hand and clutched Val’s wrist with the other, “Come on!” She dove back into the crowd, hastily making her way out of the cantina to avoid being shot.

After muscling and fighting her way out, the night air finally hit them. However, she knew they’d be chased out and rushed out onto the balcony. She placed a hand on the railing and hopped clear off the edge, yanking Val along. They both fell in free fall for a short moment before she activated her jetpack to control the descent. Their landing took them to a lower wooden platform in an area that had far less people.

Raz released him and wiped the blood from her mouth, bursting out laughing as the events from earlier hit her at once. She spat out more blood and was clearly sporting some injuries, “Woooooooo what a trip!”

The drunkard threw another wide hook toward the Jedi, Valentine simply ducking under it before throwing a quick punch into the man's gut. He bent over as the air escaped his lungs and Val quickly grabbed the back of the man's head, bringing it down as he slammed his knee up into his nose. The drunkard collapsed after that, his nose cleanly broken and the man knocked out cold. A bottle was thrown across the bar and Val snapped his head to it, his hand quickly snatched it from the air before turning back around to find Raz now clock one of the Trandoshans that came at him. She took the one on the right and Val snapped his gaze to the one on the left.

The lizard pulled out a knife while Val only had a bottle, charging forward and offering a slash toward his chest. Val dipped backward, the tip of the knife scraping his clothes before he stepped forward back toward the Trandoshan. He slammed the base of the bottle in the lizard's stomach before ducking and sidestepping to the right, bringing the same hand with the bottle back around to bust on the back of the Trandoshan's head. The lizard whirled around and hissed but he was instantly greeted by Val's fist, completely unexpecting it and taking it off his feet as he was knocked out cold from the fight. Before he could even see what the damage was around him a group of Wookies loudly barged in, armed with bowcasters and practically shooting everyone. Val ducked under a shot and he instinctively reached for his lightsabers but before his hand could get close he felt someone else grab onto his wrist.

Val was pulled along with her, matching her speed as he avoided any random shots that came in towards them. He helped make their escape easier with the force as he pushed people out of the way for Raz. When they hit fresh air he thought they were going to stop and Val opened his mouth to speak but Raz yanked him once more and they suddenly hopped over the railing. They went through some leaves before finally, a somewhat skeptical and surprised look on his face at the fast approaching platform. Thankfully Raz turned on her jetpack, slowing their fall and making them gently land. When they did, Val couldn't help but laugh as he stared up, certainly feeling the exhilaration she was and relishing it. Val's life had become a lot more rigid all of a sudden and he was surprised at how rare and how much he enjoyed moments like these.

Looking over to Raz, she sported much more injuries than him, more on the part that he was pretty much sober and she was high as a kite and drunk. Plus the force was a big benefit to have to avoid food or drinks that were thrown at you. Val gave her a grin, "You could certainly say that." He made his way over to the edge of the railing before looking back over to her once more, "Thanks for that by the way, for at least interesting me in the fight and pulling me out." If she wasn't in he probably would have just pulled up a chair with the force and just enjoyed the show as a spectator. Val's amber gaze locked with hers for a moment and he was about to speak before he heard the loud thuds of Wookie footsteps and their typical gurgles.

Val flashed Raz a grin,
"Seems like it's my turn now Pip," He extended his hand outward before opening his palm, Raz able to feel tendrils of the force wrap around her and pull her the close distance between them. The leaves gave cover from above and the Wookie's haven't turned the corner, only leaving her to spot his powers. Val wrapped one arm around her waist before cocking his head to the side slightly, "Trust me." Val then launched himself over the railing with her in tow, dropping through another couple layers of leaves and to smaller balconies below. If Raz looked over she would see that Val looked perfectly calm as they free fell to one of the balconies before they were seemingly grabbed by an invisible force and gently placed down on the landing.

When their feet touched the ground his arm slipped from her waist, Val taking a respectable distance back away from her as well. They were in one of those personal open wooden homes, obviously abandoned for the night with the local activities raging on. Val directed with the force slightly to push them more inward and he glanced up as they heard the Wookies roar, thinking they just fell to the forest floor below. Val brought his gaze back down on Raz, seeing the bruises and blood stains on her. He didn't even bother asking so he just flicked his wrist and a chair slid to her smoothly in case she wanted. If he downright asked her Raz would say no to accepting help. Val walked over to one of the small wooden pillars before leaning against it, crossing his arms over his chest,
"We most likely won't have to wait long. Eventually, another fight will spring out somewhere else."

Raz was still laughing, completely hit by the drinks and the alcohol. She ran her fingers through her hair, shaking her head as she tried to think clearly. It was a wonder she was able to control the jetpack enough to make them land safely. She very well could have gotten them both killed, and she pushed the thought aside awkwardly. Raz looked up and waved her hand to brush his gratitude away, “Someone always needs to watch your stupi-“

She didn’t get to finish her sentence before it became clear that they were still being chased. Raz looked up, her reaction time infinitely slower than Val’s at this point. Before she knew what was happening, the Force coiled around her and she was pulled into him. Raz was about to complain, but his arm snaked around her waist and he pulled her close, muttering about trusting him, “Wait..” She gasped as he launched himself over the edge. It took everything in her power not to scream, but she was entirely terrified. She clutched onto him fiercely, glancing down and suddenly afraid that she wasn’t in control of the jumps.

He would be able to sense the fear in her, a very alien and strange emotion coming from her. She was holding on for dear life, squeezing her eyes shut as he kept jumping. The drugs made everything that much worse, and the weightlessness was absolutely awful. Raz could only take so much more before she decided there was no kriffing way she was just going to ‘trust’ someone when they were in free fall without any technical way to stop themselves outside of some bullshit voodoo magic.

Naturally, her stubborn nature got in the way. She still clutched onto Val, but she activated her jetpack to try and stabilize them. Unfortunately, this was timed right with him trying to control the fall. As a result, both of them were tilted to the side and sent careening to one angle right as they were going to land. Raz lost control of the situation and they were both sent sailing right through a window, shattering through the glass.

They went through the first window and whizzed through a doorway and crashed directly into another room before the jetpack finally stopped. They managed to tumbled over a few tables, over a bed and finally hit the opposite wall before slumping to the ground. She fell directly atop him, not moving for a few moments as pain shot through her entire body. Raz finally groaned and slowly rose up, rolling over to plop on the ground next to him, gazing up at the ceiling, “….I don’t feel so good.”

As they descended below he was surprised by how scared Raz was. They had just jumped over a railing before this but now her fear was palpable. It was easy to tell who she placed her trust in. She continued to hold onto him for dear life and right when he was about to make them land smoothly, he was tugged violently in the wrong direction. "What the he-" Val lost control over whatever ounce of force he had, Raz's jetpack simply tearing it from him as instead of landing smoothly they went practically horizontal and right through the small house. Val couldn't see what was going on but they suddenly went through a window, feeling tiny cuts on his arms and legs.

At that point Val wrapped both of his arms around Raz, angling his body so that he took most of the brunt force of each surface they went through. They broke through another wall as pieces of wood and dust fell down on them, crashing into a few tables before slamming into the wall together. The entire building groaned with them, dust falling from multiple cracks in the ceilings, walls, floors or whatever else they managed to hit on their way in. Both of them were covered in it as well with some straggling tiny pieces of wood dropping onto Raz while she was on top of Val. After a few moments, he groaned loudly as well, reaching for his head while Raz slipped off of him.
"Why did... you start the karking... jetpack?" Val was pretty was pretty sure his head was the first thing through the wall because it felt like someone had split it down the middle with a hammer.

Val made an attempt to sit up but immediately laid back down, his face scrunching in pain as he just exhaled softly and let his head relax for a minute. He hoped his injuries weren't at least in vain and Raz got spared some of that. With him remaining planted where he was, Val slowly opened his eyes and glanced around the destroyed room they were in while they were laying next to each other.
"It would be a nice home for whoever owned it," Val put his head back down with a sigh, "You know... before we came in like a wrecking ball." After a few seconds, Val couldn't help but laugh softly that led to him having a small coughing spurt.

Raz coughed and spat more blood to the side, groaning in pain as she dusted some of the debris off herself. She grinned as he asked why she had to start the jetpack, “I’m not trusting my life to some bullshit I can’t see,” She gazed up at the ceiling, feeling splitting pain throughout her entire body. Raz groaned as she slowly tried to get up, only to collapse once again. She was amused to see Val attempt the same and also fail. Both of them laid next to one another, reeling from the pain of having flown through a wall after a night of debauchery.

As he spoke again, she shook her head and rolled her eyes. She elbowed him in the side, no doubt causing another wave of pain through him, “You’ll get over it,” She muttered as she finally got up to sit. She had to dust off the bits of wood and glass still on her. She placed a hand on Val’s shoulder, using him to steady herself as she slowly rose to stand. Raz felt queasy, the alcohol and drugs combo suddenly beginning to hit her.

“We can just…wait here for a bit till things die down,” She grumbled quietly before stumbling over towards a nearby vase. She took the flowers out and promptly vomited into it, not even caring that Val was only a few feet away. Raz spewed up everything she drank and ate that day right into a beautiful crystal vase. She wiped her mouth when she was done, stuffing the flowers back in and sighing, “Much better..”

Raz didn’t even look twice at Val before she stumbled out towards where the kitchen was. She didn’t even care that she was invading someone else’s home. The owners could be coming back any time and they would be in heaps of trouble. Instead, she opened up the fridge and began to look for snacks to make her feel better. Raz grabbed a few fruits and other snacks before calling out to Val, “What’re you doing here anywaaaaay? You should get out so you can keep your good guy image,” She grinned.

She pulled back from the fridge, taking off her armor and pulling out shards of glass that pierced her skin. Soon she was down to a tanktop and pants, wincing in pain that shot through her whole body. Raz knew she would have a lot of explaining to do when she met up with her clan again.

Valentine kept his eyes closed, just opening them hurting his head as he saw there. There was pain all throughout him, mostly sharp throughout his back but he ignored it. With her comment about the force, Val was quick to quip back, "Better than the bullshit you just put us through." After his first attempt to get up the idea to stay on the ground became more and more appealing by the second. Raz sent an elbow into his side and it did hurt, making Val hunch in his spot slightly as he gave another light coughing spurt. When she placed a hand on his shoulder to steady himself he let out a soft groan, feeling pain blossom from the spot as his body took most of the beating when they went through the house.

Val remained silent and on the ground while Raz figured out how to walk again, making her way over to a vase of flowers before promptly vomiting in it. He couldn't see it but he could definitely hear it and when she was finished he gave his commentary,
"That was charming," Her footsteps start to become quieter as he heard her grumble something and he knew she went into another room. Val kept on the ground for a few more seconds before finally lifting himself up, feeling the splitting pain in his head once more and his back. Stumbling forward, he reached his hand out to a nearby table and used it as support, steadying his head and his breathing. She heard her question and he tilted his head in that direction, "Oh you know, wanted to see... what all the craze was with Life Day." Val appeared at the doorway, holding onto the edge of it as his eyes went to Raz.

The first thing he noticed was the numerous amount of tattoo's, more enamored by them than anything else. It was obvious she was a warrior, her body toned and muscular and he wasn't surprised in the slightest as she took out pieces of glass or took care of cuts. Val appeared worse for wear though, a light sheen of sweat covering him with as he appeared to breathe heavier.
"Nice... tattoos." His legs couldn't really hold him up anymore and he stumbled forward, putting out both his arms as they gripped onto the counter. Val's back had glass shards sticking out of clothing from his back, two of them couple inches in length as blood started to seep through the back of his robes. With him turning his body to suffer most of the damage, that meant the window as well and it showed it's unhappiness at being shattered by them.

There was a light trail of blood from him to a small pool where he had crashed into the wall. Val sweated more and his arms started shaking lightly but he remained standing.
"Raz... I need... you..." He was getting more tired by the second and that was a bad thing to be happening. Val didn't know the extent of the damage and didn't want to, he just knew that it hurt like hell.

Raz chuckled at his comment about how it was charming, “Sorry, Mud, I ain’t classy like your ladyfriend,” She muttered shortly before disappearing from sight. As she scavenged for food and removed her armor, she bit into an apple. She was finally beginning to feel better after being sick this whole time. The drugs were out of her system for the most part, and so was the alcohol. However, this also meant she wasted her credits and didn’t have most of her drugs with her.

She was distracted by the raiding when Val appeared in the kitchen behind her. She turned to look at him, catching him staring at the tattoos. She had to grin, taking another bite from her apple, “What, never seen tattoos before?” Raz eyed him quietly before she realized he looked very uncomfortable and weak. It was the first time she began to notice all his injuries. They extensive and much worse than anything she sustained for herself. Raz’s eyebrows furrowed as she began to realize that he purposely oriented himself during their collision to ensure he took the brunt of the damage.

“Mud..” She muttered as she put the apple down, her eyes widening slightly at the sight of him beginning to buckle. Raz walked towards him, grasping a hold of his shoulders and slowly lowering him to the ground. She crouched down beside him, scowling at him, “Why do you do this?” She couldn’t keep the annoyance from her tone as she moved around him to begin picking out the glass from his body. He wasn’t wearing any armor and took the full brunt of the damage.

“You shouldn’t have even gotten involved,” She whispered, working to take any other debris sticking out of him. Raz had no real way to staunch the bleeding and she rose up from where she was, sifting through different cabinets till she found some medpacks. Raz came back and tugged at his robes, easing them off to expose his badly injured back. She applied the kolto salve, working slower than usual due to still being drunk. Some of his injuries looked like they’d need stitches later.

“How many times am I gonna have to patch you up?” She muttered, smearing some of the salve to the side of his face where he had a graze from glass as well. Raz glared at the wound, but she looked at his eyes then, her expression softening as she did so.

Valentine was only focused on staying upright and holding onto the counter to do so. Raz's words came to him garbled and barely coherent. He tried to focus on them but every time he did so they seemed to just slip from his understanding despite how hard he tried. Feeling her hands on his shoulders, he let her guide him down to the floor which he greedily accepted. Laying flat down on his stomach, the pain pulsating from his back as he sweated even more. Understanding her next question, he smirked slightly as he murmured, "Just can't seem to help myself." He didn't miss the annoyance and he wasn't surprised by it, willing to take it for now as he started to feel her slide pieces of glass out of him.

Val seethed each time, his hands extending forward and gripping into the carpet. His knuckles turned white from the effort, feeling every inch of glass she pulled out of him without any aesthetic or pain relievers. With some of the pieces removed, he could feel some of his warm blood begin to pour out of each little wound.
"If I remember correctly..." Val took a moment to breathe and get a full inhale of air, "You were the one who grabbed my wrist and took me with you." Raz pulled away from his robes, exposing his back and the nasty cut up image his back was now. When she applied the salve he seethed once more, the muscles in his back flexing as reaction while he shut his eyes and focused on blocking out the pain. "It's not that pretty, is it?" Val asked her with a weak chuckle as she slowly applied more salve on his back.

Val felt her fingers brush against his face, applying the kolto to a fresh gash he had. His eyes slowly traveled up to meet hers, spotting the glare but also catching him watching her and softening a moment later in reaction.
"If we're going off previous history, about every time we meet." Val couldn't help the small laugh that escaped him but made him cough afterward once more. It was true, without fail every single time he was injured. First, it was with his leg, the Imperials, and now this. Val couldn't just wait for the next time he would get to see her. His eyes remained locked on her's the entire time, using it as something to focus on instead of the ground or the pain. "Next time... you should trust me Pip." He murmured, a faint smirk touching his lips despite the pain.

Raz kept applying the salve, spotting the countless injuries on him. She took her own damage, but it was nowhere even close to what he suffered. She cursed him internally for allowing this to happen. He had a habit of constantly throwing himself into danger without a second thought. He had done it the first day she met him, and every single time henceforth. Raz could only do a limited amount of patching up with the materials she had. By now, all the glass was out and the bloody shards clattered to the ground beside him.

“You knew I was wearing armor,” She sighed, “Why did you turn into the window, you idiot?” Raz broke their gaze, looking away now, “That’s the best I’m going to get it,” She recalled his earlier commentary, rolling her eyes, “The Wookiees weren’t going to pick and choose who to shoot. Besides, I’m always up for helping a damsel in distress,” She snickered at him, slowly rising to stand. She extended a hand to help him up slowly, “Do you have a place you’re staying at? We can’t hang out here much longer,” There was no doubt that the owners of the house would be coming back soon, and that would get them in even more trouble.

After easing him up, she went back to her own injuries, walking over to a nearby mirror to spot where she was hurt. She kept to herself, wincing as she picked out the shards of glass. Her lip was bleeding and she tasted coppery blood in her mouth from the punch to the face. From the looks of it, she was even starting to get a black eye. Naturally, none of this was new for a Mando, though her father always rued having a beautiful daughter as it meant the face was going to be decked more than a few times. He had attempted to coax her into a life of a farmer, and Raz had scoffed at him even when she had been a child.

Realizing she had used up all the kolto on Val, she decided to leave her own injuries alone. She simply washed them off and decided to suck it up, not even getting to some of the shards on her back. Being slightly drunk was the only reason it wasn’t as excruciating as it would otherwise be. Her thoughts were on trying to get back with her clan somehow. She glanced over at Val again to see how he was faring. She didn’t quite understand why she worried about him. The last time she had saved his life, he hadn’t exactly been thankful. Raz’s jaw tightened at the memory and she looked away again.

Slowly the pain eased away. It was there but less severe and Valentine was thankful for it. He shook his head at Raz's comment, not going to admit it was the heat of the moment type decision and he didn't recall her armor. Declaring that she did the best he could, Val glanced to her before arching an eyebrow at her next statement, "A damsel in distress? You were clinging onto me like a damsel earlier." Val started to get up, "You know... before you started the jetpack." He took her hand, helping him up as he let out a grunt before leaning against the kitchen counter for support. Glancing around, it looked like an earthquake just came for this couples house and destroyed everything they could. Some of the Jedi's blood was everywhere but they couldn't really do anything about that.

Regarding her question, Val turned his gaze over to Raz as she stood in front of the mirror and pulled out some of her own tiny shards. She wasn't as bad as him but she did sport her own injuries and they were out of kolto. Val felt a little guilty for having all of it used on him but he had some of his own on his ship. He was in his thoughts for a few seconds before finally answering,
"I didn't plan on staying here long so only my ship. I have medical supplies on it and we can use it to patch you up." While he would have liked to tend to her now, she seemed to be operating normally with the injuries and they had already spent a lot of time there. The noise they made crashing through the house probably woke up everyone in the tree and it was time to move. While Raz was inspecting herself in the mirror Val pushed off the counter before slowly stepping to his cut and slightly torn clothes.

He placed one hand against the wall before bending down to retrieve, feeling the sharp splice of pain go through him as he had to breathe a moment before sliding on his robes to cover the damage. It had holes in it's back and light blood stains but it would work for now and Val turned back to Raz, seeing her staring at him before looking away.
"It isn't far, we just have to avoid more Wookies." He murmured with a chuckle, definitely not expecting to add chased by Wookies to his list of things done today. Val closed his eyes as his head tilted down, his grasp on the doorframe that was holding up becoming tighter and making his knuckles white. After a moment later he pushed off, taking a few steps away from it and standing straight like he hadn't been pieced with glass shards moments before. "Ready to move?" Unfortunately for him, he wasn't drunk and Val needed the few moments to block the pain out before he could walk.

Raz seemingly got into a coughing fit as soon as he called her a damsel. She did the first thing that came to mind, taking an apple near her and chucking it at Val’s face. He didn’t need the extra pain, but she was used to messing around with her clan members and it usually involved punching or throwing things at each other. Raz scowled at him, “I don’t trust your weird Force magic. I trust my jetpack more,” She looked at his injuries and cleared her throat, “….Usually has better results.”

She simply couldn’t reach some of her injuries and she gave up, putting her armor back on slowly. Raz winced and gritted her teeth through it, but she managed enough to get dressed again. She looked up as he suggested his ship, shaking her head, “Nah, I just wanted to see you had a place,” She shrugged, “Go to your ship, I’ll catch you another time,” Raz muttered, placing her helmet on. She actually had no real place to go, as she and her clan had showed up to party and gotten involved in fighting off some trandoshans. Everyone had scattered in their own direction and she doubted if many of them were even on the planet.

In truth, Raz was simply too prideful to accept help from others. It was a flaw she had since she had been young, and it wasn’t one she would lose anytime soon. Raz was armored up now, watching him struggle to get to his feet. She had to remind herself that he was a Jedi – they could do all those things Sith could, right? He could easily survive through anything. Why the hell did she care anyway? Raz pushed the thought from her mind, happy to have her helmet back on.

“Aight, till we meet agai-“ She walked slowly towards the front door, still feeling the impacts of alcohol. However, that was when she heard heavy and loud footsteps approaching from the other side. It was accompanied with wookieee roaring, and she cursed under her breath. Raz shuffled and half stumbled back into the kitchen, “Never mind, where’s your ship?” She nudged him along, leading back towards the hole they made through the bedroom wall.

Raz was still out of it as she climbed out of the broken window, falling right on her ass on the other side. She growled and slowly picked herself back up, smacking herself on the side of her helmet to get it together. This was going to be a terrible journey…she just knew it.
