The Sith-style shuttle was the perfect cover for this mission. Cuyan hated arriving somewhere in a big warning sign that screamed Mandalorian. It made the missions harder sometimes and this time he wanted to get out with the goods quickly instead of a drawn out fight. He had hardly recovered from his wounds at Bandomeer so he was hoping to avoid new ones. Gorse was a fairly remote world nonetheless but it never hurt to be careful. There was a mining operation here under Imperial space protection that he hoped to hit.

"Vod, jate'kara." He said as the landing ramp opened and the mine would open up before them.

Crystals jutted out of the earth everywhere here. It seemed they were slowly chipping away at them for the valuable gems. Nothing like a lightsaber crystal but still valuable for jewelry and basic machinery. It was not the gems that Cuyan wanted though. They were here for the equipment that was used to get the gems. A combination of powerful drills and explosives were used so they would get both just to be certain.

Cuyan had briefed his partner beforehand and they both knew to be careful of the mining explosives when firing and to try to get both explosives and the drill. It would be invaluable to have this powerful equipment for later Mandalorian missions. A drill that could break crystals and explosives never hurt to have around. He was equipped fully for this mission and would take no prisoners if someone resisted.

Wyatt rode in the back of the shuttle with his partner, a man he'd worked with many times over now and trusted although he was not a Solus. He had asked for assistance in some sort of equipment retrieval operation and it sounded as if there would be minimal bloodshed in comparison to the other jobs they'd worked together. If blood was to be shed it would not be of the innocents this time hopefully it would be of the imperial dogs who watched over this outfit of miners who supplied them with the tools to make war by the commercial value these gems created.

He had his standard equipment and flanked Cuyan as they exited the landed craft, he had been given a brief on what to avoid shooting near if they wanted to leave this job in one piece so Wyatt would take notice of any explosives and also keep his eyes open for the mining equipment they specifically needed a drill of some considerable power. Whatever Cuyan was planning it was sure to deal a blow to the Imperials and the Sith so Wyatt was on board to assist if it meant contributing to the bigger picture. "Ready when you are."

Cuyan kept in mind that explosives were used here. Instead of a repeater in hand, he kept that spray happy beast strapped to his back. He instead drew both of his pistols for a more precise fire. Two Imperial guards looked quite bored and a typical Imperial shuttle did not really raise their alarms. Both of them had their weapons slacking, aimed towards the floor, and did not see that these were Mandalorians until it was too late. Red blasts ripped from each pistol and the guards ate plasma. The pair of them slumped to the floor and security here otherwise seemed pretty lax. They'd just need to haul stuff off and be careful of a wandering guard or two.

"Get the drill, I'll grab the ordinance boxes." He said as he began moving towards the equipment storage areas, blasters in hands.

The Mandalorian kept his eyes open for any intruding enemies while browsing the equipment storage. There were crates of various supplies but one section had warning labels on a bunch of baradium explosive material used for mining. That would be nice for mining or breaking open walls. A perfect grab alongside the drill. He posted up against the door and paused to look for any enemies. Cuyan knew a wrong move could mean a big explosion right in his face after he started moving these. Plus he would give a few glances towards his partner to make sure he got towards the drill safely in the mine below. It wasn't too far away if the Ordo had to go reinforce his partner. No point losing him while hauling explosives instead of that nice big drill.

"Drill, got it!" Wyatt said over his shoulder as they made way into the entrance of the mine going through some rough scaffolding that had lights strung up. Moving past the dead guards that sat at the entrance, it was just after the work days conclusion so Wyatt didn't expect to run into much resistance beyond a foreman and some roaming imperials. He broke off from Cuyan who then made his way to the storage area presumably for smaller tools and blasting materials, safety equipment and those sorts of things.

Wyatt was on the search for a sizable drill contraption, it was a thermal drill used for the actual extraction of ores once a vein of the gem was found due to the high density and durability of the raw material that was mined here. It would be rigged on a support system that would break down and fit inside a crate which he hoped would be with the rig. Pushing down the small lit tunnel Wyatt came to a bend that lead to a built in set of metal stairs, which he clanked and clattered down holding the railings and almost coming face to face with an imperial soldier coming up. Reaching the bottom step Wyatt held both railings and rocked his lower body out kicking the imperial who was in the midst of unholstering his rifle and aiming it, hitting him square in the chest and sending him on his back. Proceeding down the steps Wyatt unholstered his quickdraw and fired a pair of bolts as the man began sitting up, cracking into his chest and sending his upper body back to the ground as Wyatt rushed past.

"I'm down here, checking a tunnel for one of these things... Hows topside treating you?" Wyatt asked into his helmet comm as he moved down the length of the tunnel where he could hear conversation coming from.

The more dangerous job fell to Cuyan who felt bad putting his partner next to a box of explosives in an enemy zone. Once he made sure it was clear of danger he charged inside and began hauling them towards his ship. The crates had a repulsorlift helper so it made life a bit easier. Luckily no one was shooting at them for the time being. He kept his pistol in one hand while shoving the pile of boxes.

"All is good up here. They did not seem to have many guards. Almost to the ship with my load. Grab that drill and I'll meet you halfway to help push it up." Cuyan muttered back to his partner as he started getting close to his ship again.

The bodies of the guards still sat undisturbed in front of him. Those fools had no idea what was coming. Even with so many Mandalorian raids, out here they thought they were safe. Soon the entire Sith Empire would fear Mandalorians if they didn't already. It was a mistake to piss them off. Medriaas would not be forgotten and neither would the Sith crimes.

Making way to the sounds of conversation Wyatt listened to his partners response about his progress and responded with the affirmative while rounding the last bend to see what looked like a foreman and a maintainer or worker packing up the drill. It seems they'd come to the end of a vein of crystals, it was perfect for Wyatt who shot his quickdraw into the roof of the shaft letting the two yellow bolts scare the hells out of the two men. Quickly throwing their hands up spinning around to face Wyatt they began to plead as soon as they saw the armor and especially when they recognized the helmet.

"Finish pulling that apart and put it in the crate, I won't hurt you unless you do something stupid." Wyatt said with his weapon on the duo who returned to the disassembly with haste, putting the pieces in the large orange hard case that sat on a reuplsor lift sled. They would finish quickly and Wyatt would begin moving the crate away after the duo hastily began running towards the way Wyatt entered.

Seemed like there was good news all around. Cuyan packed the crates very carefully into the ship and secured them. No use dying over some bonus goods. He then sprinted down from the ship to meet up with Wyatt. His pistol was still in hand when he saw two workers come running up. The Ordo warrior pointed the pistol forward and they froze in their tracks. Instantly it seemed they surrendered. Looked to Cuyan like Wyatt had already dealt with these ones.

"Get out of here. If I hear an alarm or see any funny business... expect another visit." He said, his voice becoming sinister at the end as he delivered the threat.

After they ran away Cuyan began to chuckle. Such cowards. He then met Wyatt and helped him push the repulsor sled up to the ship where they could load it. Simple enough to get that secured. Cuyan gave a last look out over the facility for any signs of trouble or loot, but they'd gotten what they needed now. A powerful drill and a few cases of explosives could make a nice dent in a wall. That was for sure.

"Let's get out of here." He said quietly, turning to enter the ship and holstering his pistol. "Good work, Vod."

Wyatt hoisted the equipment over the side of the sled and holstered his blaster, beginning the trudge up the tunnel and back out the way he came when he hear Cuyan begin to assertively talk with the help who'd packed the drill for him; not wanting to interfere Wyatt waited until he was done to speak as he neared the interaction. "They know better than to do anything, but I know their faces." Wyatt said, getting louder as he finished the sentence and watched as one of the men tripped looking back to see if Wyatt was serious; he wasn't but the point got across well.

"Right let's get out of dodge before anyone serious shows up." Wyatt said as he pushed the sled the remainder of the way with Cuyan helping, stopping at the boarding ramp and loading the bag with both of the mandalorians lifting. It was heavy, and whatever Cuyan was planning Wyatt had the intention of knowing about but that could wait for the flight out of here as he joined his partner in another look over the facilities. "Good work indeed... I'm curious what your intentions are, this is clearly part of some scheme. Tell me, are you turning over another weapons factory?" Wyatt said with a laugh as he found his way to a seat while Cuyan began piloting the ship and getting off the world. His quip back to when they were still wet behind the ears brought a fond memory to his head as he recalled the transformation from petty black market middle man to warrior with a cause.
