Sullust, Sith Hideout, 0300 Hours

Drexus was given an apprentice to train. They had to learn the dark side and to become strong enough to fight a two front war. One front being Jedi, the other front being the Empire with plenty of former Sith within it. They would need to know when to strike, where to strike. There was everything still to learn for them, and Drexus was not one to take it easy. He may show a sense of humor ever so often, but when it came to training he was serious as they came.

"Acolyte.. kneel. From now on I am Master. You will obey my every command and never fail me. Should you fail.. you shall lose something close to you." The Zabrak hidden behind his helmet and armor per usual would cross his arms. He didn't care to know the backstory of his new Acolyte, and wouldn't listen if they told it. He only cared about their training being completed and bringing another fearsome Sith into the Order.

"Rise, and get into a fighting stance. You will be working on deflection. There are fifteen training droids flying around us. They will all be shooting at you. Should you be hit, I will count it as a fail. Should you succeed you will move on to the next phase unscathed. Understood?" His tone would be hard to hear as his voice was modulated with a slightly robotic sound. The deep base would hit harder as Drexus would speak up. "Now let's begin."

Eleven schooled her face into a neutral expression as she knelt before the man who deigned to give her commands. Thoughts of screaming at the Sith, of attacking filled her, yet she didn't allow it to show. She was used to the raging storm of fury and had been only a child when she mastered the ability to keep it bottled within. Hidden until it best suited her to let it loose.

So she feigned submission and bent her knee, nodding obediently as he spoke. No one was her master, but knowledge was useful. Useful and, for the girl, in short supply. She needed more and she needed it now, so she allowed herself to be debased. At least this time it was under her own terms.

When he spoke to rise, she did so, her synthetic fingers finding the hilt of her blades and drawing them. With nary a word she placed the pommels together and gave a twist, interlocking them into a single weapon. Dropping low, she spread her legs and ignited the blades, her gaze darting about like a trapped animal for her targets.

As his new apprentice prepared for the training, Drexus watched her connect her two blades together and prepare a juyo form he hadn't seen in recent times. So he knew now he'd have to teach her in a way he hadn't thought he would. Jar'kai was prominent in a means of having two blades, but separate. This form was new to see, and he would take that into account and perhaps.. even practice himself.

"Remember.. don't suck."

With that, Drexus would motion for the droids to start firing at the apprentice. How she would handle the lesser fire would let him know when to up the difficulty. She would notice the firing wouldn't stop, it would only continue and in some instances of firing, the blasts would get faster. "You have to be faster if you want to use Juyo!" He would wave for the blasting to get faster. He would check to see if she was still keeping up. If she had been he would raise his voice more, "Who do you think you are? You are nothing!"

At this point the blasts would become so repetitive that they would feel the equivalent of multiple full auto blaster from all around her were firing. He knew that even cybernetics had their limits, especially when most of her body was still organic. He would wait to see how she handled herself. If she was successful he would move on to the next task. If she failed, well.. we'll see how she does.

Form was important.

Function more so.

Eleven didn't care about the former and concentrated solely on the latter. Letting instinct take over, she stopped seeing with the eyes that weren't her own and reacted instead to the motions around her. Like a whirlpool she moved, blades in constant motion. Her feet carried her this way and that, not holding still to provide an easy target as her gap in skill was covered by the sheer length of light that she wielded.

When pressed, she separated the blades, growling as she cut the blaster fire from the very air and threatened to rend the annoyances from their positions only to slip back. Restraint, her mind informed even as her body railed against the notion. In smooth motions too fast for a human she joined and separated and joined the blades, using the dual nature of them to dodge, parry, and dodge as needed.

Effectively she protected herself but the trained eye would know that that was all it was. Effective.

There was no skill, no knowledge in her style, only plenty to exploit to a trained warrior. The droids simply beat out a pattern and her body matched it on impulse. They didn't deviate so she never truly had to.
