Doren Rau

Biography
Doren grew up among Clan Rau, tending to his father's small plot of land, from which he traded food goods with others in his clan, and those of Clan Solus. He was raised alongside an adopted brother, Talan, who was brought home at a young age. While they didn't exactly get along for the first few years of their adolescence, they developed a bond I their pre-teens, through vigorous training, and toiling in the fields. Friendly competition was just another aspect for these two Mandalorian, and it soon became more of a brotherhood than a rivalry sometime before their verd'goten.
Doren, being 3 years older than Talan, at age 13, went for his Verd'goten first, and was tasked with taming a wild Concordian Boar, and riding him home. Given armor, a light blaster, and a vibrospear, and 50 feet of rope, he was left in the dense forest several miles West of his family's plantation.
Forced to hunt for his own food, once his three days of rations were eaten, he stalked through the woods, quietly toward Concordian Boar territory. Weeks went by before the young Mandalorian caught wind of a small family of Boars. Following the scent of the group, he hid in waiting, for the moment to make his move. The male, a massive beast by any standard stood guard over the pregnant female, who had recently given birth to two young - prime candidates for capture. The challenge was goading the adults away, or killing them before attempting to dominate one or both of the young.
Using some of the rope he was given, he rigged several branches to snap, drawing the male away from the mother. The Sow quickly nudged her young behind her, while Doren maneuvered away, and eventually behind them, and into the trees above the mother. As the territorial Male seemed to have found something, and charged off into the thick of the forest, he left the mother to defend their young, and once Doren could no longer hear the Brees and grunts of the father, he dropped from his vantage point, vibrospear at the ready, aiming to land on the back of the Sow, plunging the diamond shaped blade into the base of her neck, though her hide was tough, and the blade would not pierce enough to kill her outright. Writhing in pain, the sow threw the boy from her back, causing him to roll, and stand up, she charged, head first, narrowly missing him with a deadly ramming attack that the Concordian Boar are known for. As she slowed to turn, he drew his blaster and opened fire, slamming several bolts into her side, wounding her grievously, before ending her suffering with a few more.
The Mandalorian turned to the two young Boars, who were frantically looking for their father, breeing loudly in hopes of him hearing them, but to no avail, as the first began to run, while the other began to position himself in between the roots of a large tree. Seeing an opportunity to go beyond the scope of his Verd'goten, he climbed partially up a tree and leapt onto the back of the cornered boar, who immediately started thrashing, and bucking, yet the Mandalorian remained. Several minutes passed and the boar finally gave in, and they would go in the direction of the other young boar, only to find it in the jaws of a Fanned Rawl. Having succeeded, he made his way home on his new mount, making the three day hike a day and a half ride on the young hog. He returned victorious, earning the respect of the warriors of Clan Rau, earning his own armor, and a Beskad of his own. As an adult, Doren stands 6' even, weights about 210lbs, and shows no signs of Force Sensitivity.
He would spend the next several years raiding and carrying out missions for the Mandalorian government with his father, until one fateful day, during one contract on Tattooine that had taken a turn for the worst. On a mission to silence a particularly hostile clan of Tusken Raiders, Doren and his brother, had taken Speederbikes to a known dwelling of Tusken Raiders, but it was a ruse, to divide the hunting party. While the rest of the party was able to fend off the onslaught, Doren's father was mortally wounded by a slug to the femoral artery. The large bore slug tore through his flesh, making the wound inoperable in the field, and he soon succumbed to his wound.
Personality/Gear/Skills
Doren is your typical Concordian. He loves a good competition, and is fiercely protective of his younger brother. No one is allowed to tease him but him, and he'll put someone in the ground for trying. He was also raised to despise all things regarding the Force, believing firmly that no Force User is a good Force User, and even when the Mandalorian viewed the Jedi neutrally, he was greatly distrust of them, and has made a point to train his mind and body against the effects of the Force, believing mental fortitude is every bit as important as physical.
Skills and Standard Gear:
Doren is a trained gunfighter, preferring an engagement at medium or short range. He is also an adept melee combatant, preferring reach weapons, like spears, and glaives, and carries an heirloom Beskad, and uses it liberally in melee. He is also trained in Mandalorian Boxing and Terās Kasi, and wears a Medium Beskargam
In terms of fire power, he carries a Shriek Eagle Long Carbine, and typically carries four Power Cells, with one to be assumed loaded into the weapon at all times. He carries one Strill Blaster Pistol with two power cells, one of which to be assumed loaded into the pistol at all times.
