Goompa's small body jerked to a stop, halted in mid-air by some invisible force that he did not understand. It was similar to what had happened earlier when the Golden One had saved his life. Except this time, Goompa had not called upon the Golden One for strength.
His brow furrowed in confusion, but he was not complaining. He was glad to not be dead. Suddenly, he was pulled across the expanse of the landing pad into the awaiting arms of Cayde.
The Ewok smiled up at his new friend, laughing heartily. He did not understand what was happening or how Cayde had done that, but he was relieved to be safe and sound. Today had been so very eventful!
"Kash toma toto? Azar?" the Ewok inquired as he slid down to the floor of the hangar. Goompa was very curious. Perhaps Cayde had come across the Golden One ofnhis own travels, and the Golden One had blessed him. Perhaps he had learned the powers of the medicine man. Both possibilities were fascinating!
Questions would have to await, however, as exhaustion overtook Cayde and he fell to sleep. Right on the floor in front of Goompa! Goompa chuckled to himself. He had slept on the ground many times before. It was not so bad. The Ewok waddled over to the tall human and sat down beside him. Placing a furry paw atop his head, Goompa patted his new friend as he slept.
Softly, the Ewok sung a well known Ewok lullaby. One his mother often sang to him as a young Ewok. "Lulalar....lulalar," Goompa cooed before falling asleep himself.
