Name: Dracami
Biology:
Dracami inherently appear to be physically like base-line humans, not much is really different between them. Though there are some minor differences physically such as most Dracami tend to have darker colored hair such as brown and black. They also tend to grow facial hair more rapidly, though it is sometimes shaven. They also have rougher facial features, though this is not true of all Dracami as some do have what would be called a fair facial structure. Dracami also appear bigger than humans, but not in that they are fat bigger, instead that they have more muscle mass and are stronger due to the their hostile environment.

What makes Dracami truly different from base-line humans, though, is that every single Dracami is Force Sensitive and can become a Force User. This does not mean however, that every single Dracami can become a Jedi Master, in fact most Dracami, like Kra'alak Du'uogwuin, can only learn two or three powers (Outside of the basics) their entire life time. There is also a catch for Dracami that can, and do, learn more than four powers outside of the basics, the more powers they learn, the more physically frail they become. For example if a Dracami Mage (What specialized Force Users are called) learns eight powers they become as frail as a regular human, ten powers and they are weaker than humans, and thus unable to effectively fight in combat, especially against foes such as Sith Purebloods and Wyverns.

Something that they all share however, is the ability to speak telepathically between each other and other species. Despite they do not use it commonly, as they prefer to hear each other's voices rather than think the words the other is speaking. They usually use telepathy in order to speak to Kra'alak Du'uogwuin, since they prefer to speak through telepathy rather than verbally, thus improving relations between the two species. They are also the only ones able to speak to some of the other Dragon-related creatures using telepathy and speaking what is called Dragon-speak.

Another innate ability that Dracami have is the ability to block their minds out from being invaded through the Force, or other devices. This was an evolution brought upon by their interaction with Kra'alak Du'uogwuin, whom have the ability to read minds easily, thus Dracami involved mental barriers in order to prevent the Kra'alak Du'uogwuin from reading their thoughts. Another evolution brought upon by interaction with Kra'alak Du'uogwuin is that their skin is mildly fire-retardant, while this will not absorb the brunt of a true fire attack by a Kra'alak Du'uogwuin, it does prevent burning from flamethrowers or pyrokinesis at least for a short amount of time.

Lastly, Dracami also live a bit longer than base-line humans, with an average lifespan of one hundred-fifty years. Though, maturity rates are relatively the same, except for that seniority is established at one hundred thirty years rather than fifty. They also have a lower tolerance for alcohol than base-line humans which is ironic because they drink more, but still they are easier to get drunk than base-line humans.

Subspecies:
Dark Dracami-
These Dracami are aligned with the Order of the Dragon and are corrupted by the dark side, thus they are much more aggressive and passionate, making them quick to anger and difficult to calm. Also, due to their corruption, they tend to be disfigured or shadows of their old selves, sometimes literally. Also those most aligned to the dark-side tend to emit a dark aura around them that makes it look like dark fog comes from within their very souls, which very well may be, which also brings mild despair to anyone who comes into contact with it. This mutation is probably due to their heightened Force Sensitivity.

Light Dracami-
Aligned with the Knights of the Last Guard, these Dracami aren't necessarily aligned with the light-side, as they consist of people who would also kill for no true reason, but these Dracami tend to have some sort of decency to them and don't fall to the dark-side. Thus they tend to be much more calm and noble than Dark Dracami, making them excellent hosts and diplomats. Also those that are most aligned to the light-side tend to emit a light aura, that rivals the Dark Dracami's dark-side aura, and brings mild courage and hope to those in close proximity

Sentience: Yes

Strengths:
-Inherently Force Sensitive
-Stronger than baseline human
-Telepathic
-Longer lifespan
-Mental Barriers
-Slightly Fire Retardant
-Able to communicate with dragon-related species

Weaknesses:
-The more powerful they become in the Force the more physically weak they become.
-Considered "Primitive" to the outside world due to their lack of knowledge of ships, blasters, computers, etc.
-Requires double the daily meal than that of a base-line human
-Have a lower tolerance for alcohol

Diet:
When it comes to nutrition and diet, Dracami are omnivores much like their base-line human counterparts. They eat anything that would normally be edible to a human, though some of their finer dishes include Wyvern eggs and meat, among other native plants and fauna on Lakhisis. Though they do differ from base-line humans, because they require a double intake of food due to their physical and psychological conditioning

Behavior/Temperament:
Dracami are social creatures, much like base-line humans, they strive to make friends and allies, but also know enough to not get fooled by false pretenses. They enjoy throwing lavish feasts and parties, much like their Kra'alak Du'uogwuin friends, and during these times they are very jubilant, sometimes too jubilant. They also tend to be less aggressive or passionate about things unless they are convinced to be through much difficulty, though once they are moved they show Mandalorian commitment to their objective.

Communication:
The most common form of communication between Dracami is the use of Basic, but they do at times use telepathy when they deem it necessary, especially when they talk to Dragon-related creatures which requires the knowledge of Dragon-Speak, and like base-line humans they can learn a variety of other languages such as Huttese, Mando'a and Bocce.

Planet: Lakhisis

Culture: Look here

Technology:
The extent of their technology reaches the Medieval Age, for example they use durasteel swords and armor for fighting, and have no sense of modern technology nor do they make use of space-faring vessels.

History:
The history of the Dracami, didn't truly begin until one thousand years ago, even though they had technically been on the moon since six thousand years ago. Though it wasn't until one thousand years ago that the Dracami existed as we know them now. At the same time they begun their true existence was also the same time that relations between them and the Sith Pureblood Refugees, that had landed on the moon several hundred years ago, began to worsen. It got to a point to where there was a full out war between the two peoples, even though the Dracami were highly decentralized until eventually they united into the Knights of the Last Guard in order to beat back the Purebloods who formed their own union called the Order of the Dragon. This war cost the Knights gravely, for many Dracami were lost both by death and by betrayal, for some of them joined the Order. Since then relations between the Knights and the Order have been relatively cold. (See here for more)

Notable PCs: None yet.

Intent: To add a unique way to play a sentient species on Lakhisis that can rival the Sith Purebloods despite being far less numerous.
