Unlike the previous class, where Avreet needed plenty of useless junk so the students could practice their powers on that, this room was void of all furniture and distractions. Obviously, as this particular room in the Sith Temple served as a place where Sith of all ranks could meditate and strengthen their connection to the Dark Side and the Force. As such, Avreet chose this chamber to make the class easier for everyone. Hopefully all students knew how to meditate… Force drain was a hard power to learn, harder to master, so even though the Crusader couldn’t call himself very experienced when it came to this Force power, he hoped he’d be able to deliver his knowledge to the students well enough, allowing them to grasp the core mechanics and giving them a chance of becoming a little more powerful again.

The Mon Calamari Crusader himself knelt on the cold metal floor, his eyes closed in deep meditation. The Force knew he’d need every bit of energy for this class, and if he was not careful, he might as well die. Chance favors the prepared mind, so the Mon Cal took it very seriously and massed the Force energy inside of himself, focusing at having as much of it as his body could handle. No doubt the students felt it far away, even before he felt the first being closing on the room. Taking a deep breath, he opened his large fishy eyes and stood up, glaring at the newcomer.

Once again, Sin'ryk felt excitement at the prospect of learning how to drain the Force. Given the route he is taking in his studies, the Pureblood felt it would be prudent to learn Force Drain, so that he could draw upon more power. Whether it is taken from the environment or an adversary, it mattered little to him. Once more, the lesson was to be held by Crusader Avreet. Sin'ryk liked the Mon Calamari, he was a good teacher and could potentially make a great Master should fate offer him that chance. The Red Sith confessed that he still found it unusual about the path Avreet has taken, given the history between the Sith Order and his species. Shrugging, Sin'ryk then felt an immense gathering of the Force, no doubt the Crusader was imbuing himself with strength for the coming lesson. As the Pureblood entered, he saluted Avreet and greeted him.

"Well met Crusader, once more I have come to seek the benefit of your teachings."

Another class with the Mon Calamari. While the power Rook hoped to learn today could give him a valuable edge, it was also a very difficult ability to master from what Rook had read. To that end in the hopes of learning the ability, he had meditated for the past hour, opening himself up to the force and letting it guide him. As he walked into the room, he could tell that this was going to be a hard class for him. Avreet, for some reason, was drawing a massive amount of energy, something that immediately made Rook cautious. If the instructor who was far more powerful than his students felt he needed the extra energy, then it might be a good idea for Rook to do the same. "Crusader Zatarus, a pleasure once again to learn from you," he said and knelt. He wasn't kneeling in deference. Rather, he knew there were others in this class who had not arrived yet. He would take the opportunity in the delay until they arrived to briefly meditate and gather the force as well.

The ship's bay doors slid apart and I watched as the ramp descended to meet the dust covered landing bay on Korriban. I had been here recently and now with the permission of my Master, I had come here to learn a new power from her former Apprentice, Crusader Avreet Zatarus. I had met him before and found his views aligned with that of my own Master and now as my training was taken a more serious turn, I found too, my views were aligning with Master Volitu and Crusader Zatarus. I walked down the ramp shielding my eyes with my left hand from the apparent dust storm that sought to greet me in my return to the Sith home world.

I stood looking at the Temple for a few moments, feeling the dark side and the history of not only this Temple but the planet itself surround me. I embraced the passing sensations, feeling more attuned with the planet's darker energies. Entering the Temple I spied several Acolytes, young and old alike, sitting around listening to the words of the Sith teachers and bit my lip refraining from commenting about their weak centered teachings. As I passed by them all, I let out a little mocking giggle as I thought I was turning into my Master; views wise.

With no idea where the class was being held since I do not spend my time on the this planet or any that houses the Sith training centres; having learning the ways of the dark side and the Sith from my Master's own residence on Dathomir. Where I learn about the True Sith and not what these carbon copycats are learning my Master refers to them as.

After asking some weird looking Twi'lek who I sensed rather take me elsewhere rather than pointe me in the right direction, I found the class and put the Tw'leks name to memory. Master Volitu will no doubt be paying him a visit soon. I opened the door using the Force and entered the room where I saw Crusader Zatarus and the other students. The Pureblood I recognized from a mission together and the other student was foreign to me.

I walked over to the Mon Calamari and with a polite smile on my face, I said, "Greetings once again Crusader Zatarus. Master Volitu also sends her greetings. As being her former Apprentice, I hope your lessons are just as exciting and dangerous as hers."

Damion had been selected to take a class on force drain. He found the thought to be invigorating as it was an extremely difficult but useful skill for a sith to know. He had been training vigorously and felt his power was up to being able to learn and master this skill. He was unfortunately one of the last to arrive in the chamber and already noticed the displeased look from the crusader looking at the first arrivals. He bowed cautiously and spoke, "Greetings once again Crusader Zatarus, it is an honor to take another class instructed by you."

He noticed the immense power growing in the room from both the other acolytes and the crusader instructing the class. He decided to follow suit and began to focus his own power and draw as much power as he could into his body. He knew the class would be difficult and looked forward to the challenge.

Grima stood on the balcony's edge staring into the red dust storm that danced and twisted on the horizon. It was not that long ago she was here on Korriban with her former Apprentice investigating a situation for the Dark Council. Though the mission proved a success, old memories from her past now began to haunt her. Those haunting memories now coupled with knowing the fate of her former friend Master Ghinol, killed by her and her former pupil Avreet, played a rough chord on her heart strings. Much of what the exile said was true but Grima was unsure if she believed it or if she had been lying to herself for far to long. Grima Volitu, Sith Master, was not like the other Sith in the Order. Her views differed as well as her views on how the Order should strive to survive and to cast aside the teachings that have destroyed it repeatedly over the years. But what could she do?

Turning from the view before her, she jumped off the ledge and entered the Korriban Academy playing a role she hasn't played for the first time since her days as a youth; student. Her former Apprentice was teaching a class on Force Drain and she found herself quite intrigued by the prospect of learning the power and observing how well her former Apprentice taught. His teachings and his methods would greatly reflect on her but it was this power that she craved more than anything. There were very few she trusted amongst the Sith, but Avreet was one such she found trustworthy. Also, Grima's young Appentice was taking this class as well and Grima would take this time to study her during the session as well. Grima knew her time with the young Dathomirian girl was drawing close to an end. She was powerful in her own right but there was much she needed to instruct her Apprentice on before she was ready to be a Sith Crusader.

Like all her times she walks in the Academies, Grima Volitu ignored everyone for in her eyes, they are not worthy of her time if they insist on learning the false ways and lessons of the Sith. The True Sith's path is not with the Teachers at the Academy, but with those Sith who know the true meaning of Sith.

Stepping into the chamber where the class is being held, the Togurta Sith Master nods her head toward her Apprentice, Trayzan, then addresses the Mon Calamari Crusader. "Crusader Avreet....is this not odd? The Master learning from her former pupil. I am here for a few reasons but the only one you need to be concerned with old friend is teaching me properly the power Force Drain. I will not step on your toes....this is your class and you should teach it the way you desire."

Grima looked at the other students in the class then turned her cold, dark gaze from them. How many of these students would survive the trials and become Sith? How many of these students would learn the ways of the Sith properly or become another churned out automaton who is only goal in life is to kill relentlessly and without understanding?

The first two apprentices who came were already familiar with him, as he was with them. Both of them had attended his previous class, which went very well. Avreet guessed the two would do just as well in this class, but Force drain was a tricky power to learn. As they greeted him, he simply nodded in return. "Meditate and let your bodies fill with the Force," he ordered, waiting for the rest. The next student to come would have surprised him if he had not looked at the list of people who signed up for the class. Trayzan, Master Volitu's current apprentice. The girl marched towards the promotion and the Mon Calamari knew with certainty she will become a Crusader before Vyrzen. She was trained by an experienced Sith Master, after all, and she was trained well, seeing her polite attitude. Avreet couldn't help but smile back at her, "Master Volitu sends me her greetings? Interesting. Anyway, welcome, Acolyte Trayzan. I hope this class won't disappoint you, as you will definitely learn and try a very dangerous power. Now meditate, absorb the Force around you and let it fill you with energy."

The other student who came received the same instruction, to meditate and gather energy while they waited for the last and the most important 'student' to come. The Mon Cal smirked when he felt the presence of his former Master getting closer. When he started his journey to becoming a true Sith, he never would have imagined that one day, he was going to teach her. And now, she was there, coming to his class to learn from him. Considering she wanted to learn a new power, see how her apprentice did and meet with her former apprentice again, her choice of being a student was not that odd. What will the Acolytes think after seeing a powerful Sith Master among themselves? Chuckling at the Togruta after she entered, his left eye watching the reactions of the Acolytes with great amusement, he noticed she had very similar thoughts. "I do not find it odd, Master Volitu," Avreet politely said, using Grima's title and surname to show his respect towards the Master in front of the Acolytes, although the two did not adhere to formalities anymore, "Strengthening our allies means strengthening ourselves. The more powerful you become, the more powerful I will be as well. We can accomplish much more together."

With the Togruta's arrival, the class could be started. Avreet did not tell Grima to meditate, as the Sith Master was powerful more than enough to handle the first step. Pacing back a bit to have sight on everyone, the Mon Calamari started. "Welcome to the class students. As you know, I will teach you Force drain. It is a dangerous power, hard to learn, but I have no doubt all of you will succeed at learning it. Before we start, I must warn you again, especially in case of this power, do not let you power hunger take over. When draining energy, always take only as much as you need or only as much is necessary to disable your opponent. While draining much more than you normally have in your reserves will fill you with power, that power won't stay inside you for long. Again, I will use an example with water. You have a cup filled with water, the water being the Force. You cannot pour more in there, as the water will overflow if you do. To be able to get more water, you need a bigger cup. Force drain will let you take the energies of another, and if they fill you, the rest of the energy will have nowhere to go, temporarily making you more powerful. That is nice, but it is like with getting too used to bigger cups. If you don't drink enough, you will be thirsty, thirsty for more power. The normal ammount of energy the Force produces in your bodies suddenly won't be enough for you. You'll find yourself thirsty for more and more, becoming an animal, and like most dangerous animals, you will be put down." Avreet was not joking, on his last mission, he had tracked down and killed one such man who couldn't control his hunger for more power.

"Before I get into explaining how it works and guide you, you need to experience it yourself. Prepare, I will take some of your energy. There are two types of energy, the one that allows you to use the Force and gets depleted if you use it too much, and the one that keeps you alive, letting you live. If you your Force energy gets drained, you won't be able to use the Force for a while. If someone drains your life energy, on the other hand..." Avreet did not finish, as all of them must have had a clear idea of happened. "Let's get to it," Avreet said and glanced at Grima, "Master Volitu, you are probably powerful enough to resist it, so if you'd please lower your defenses... And all of you, focus on feeling what is going on with the energy inside your body."

With that, Avreet raised his flippered hands and focused on the Force, reaching out and feeling every being in the room, himself included. Soon, the students found themselves being drained by the Mon Calamari, about half of their Force reserves being stolen from them, a small part of their life force being drained as well. Grima, more powerful than all the Acolytes together, would feel just a portion of both of her energies being taken, but it was more than enough to let her feel what was going on, allowing her to sense her energies pouring to her former apprentice. Soon, Avreet stopped, leaving the Acolytes with feeling of slight exhaustion and the Sith Master feeling as if she had used Force cloak a few times. As he lowered his hands, he smiled, "Get some rest now and let the Force replenish you with new energy. Any questions so far?"

And so Sin'ryk began to meditate, once more he began to focus on the fire within his mind's eye. It was still, the longer the Pureblood focused on its amethyst flames the more he felt the Force invigorate his bones. In this state, he felt the presence of Master Volitu in the chamber. He smiled inwardly, what was that old saying about teachers and their students he thought. Avreet began to speak again.

"Welcome to the class students. As you know, I will teach you Force drain. It is a dangerous power, hard to learn, but I have no doubt all of you will succeed at learning it. Before we start, I must warn you again, especially in case of this power, do not let you power hunger take over. If you your Force energy gets drained, you won't be able to use the Force for a while. If someone drains your life energy, on the other hand..."

The Mon Calamari paused, he was right to suspect that the others would know the results of such an action.

"Let's get to it, Master Volitu, you are probably powerful enough to resist it, so if you'd please lower your defenses... And all of you, focus on feeling what is going on with the energy inside your body."

Avreet raised his hands and the Force began to move. Before Sin'ryk knew it, exhaustion hit him, it felt asWh though the cold hand of death was trying to pluck his soul from its corporeal vessel. When Avreet finally stopped, the Pureblood leaned over, tridactyl knees and breathing as though he had endured 4 hours of exercise. Once more the Crusader spoke.

"Get some rest now and let the Force replenish you with new energy. Any questions so far?"

Before he sat down to meditate again, the Red Sith gave voice to his.

"I have two Crusader; is it normal for one to feel as if something was trying to snare your soul into the next life? Secondly, is your warning in place so as to prevent the birth of the another aberration like Darth Nihilus?"

The Togruta Witch was here? Rook frowned inwardly, and resolved to make the most of the lesson. A peculiar draining sensation followed, and Rook could feel himself weakening even though he had been doing nothing but focusing on drawing in force energy. His initial reaction was to try and fight the draining, but he checked himself and focused on the energy that was pulling his away, but it grew more difficult with each passing second. His muscles felt weary, as if he had just finished a tough sparring session, and he found himself longing for a nap. When Avreet's attack was over, Rook could still stand, though he knew he was weakened. He focused on restoring some of the energy that had been taken from him, and after Sin'ryk asked his question, Rook followed it up with another. "After we learn the power, will you teach us, or at least explain how to defend against such an attack?"

Damion had been sitting beside the other acolytes drawing in as much force energy as possible for the coming class. He felt the presence before he saw her. She entered the chamber emanating power and heard Avreet call her Master Volitu. He had only heard of that name and that she practiced the sith way in a very peculiar fashion, almost refusing to come to sith controlled worlds or academies. He sighed as she entered, this class had become much more interesting.

Avreet had continued and explained what would happen as he reached out with the force. The feeling couldn't be described, it felt as if someone had grabbed his very soul and force presence and attempted to pull it out of his body. It was good that he was sitting as he would have easily fallen to a knee. The feeling faded almost as soon as it had begun. He turned to the other acolytes breathing heavily and sweat pouring down his face. It felt as if he had been in a duel and had the kriff beat out of him. He felt weak and wanted nothing more than to crawl up and sleep.

Avreet spoke again telling them to draw in further force energy. Damion did not feel that he could go through another drain, but he followed his instructions. He began to draw on the plentiful force energies of Korriban and absorb their powers. His life force however, was mildly depleted leaving him feeling weaker than before. He was beginning to have second thoughts about the classes he had been taking.

Grima refrained from commenting on her former Apprentice's words about Strengthening our allies means strengthening ourselves for she knew that was borderline equality and no Sith ever wished to be another's equal. But to many in the Order sought to be equal and shed the coils of individualism. It was not the True Sith's way and it was not her way. Instead she shared the basics of her knowledge to others but her more powerful, more darker secrets of the Dark Side she held for herself and a select few whom she allied herself with.

When it came time for Crusader Avreet to demonstrate the power, Grima agreed and lowered her defenses so that the Mon Calamari could drain her. Grima felt her energy slowly being depleted but not enough where she was in danger. As her power began to exit her body, she could feel the transfer to that of her former Apprentice and was amazed at the power. When the demonstration was over, she refilled herself up and raised her defenses.

"Most impressive Crusader Zatarus...most impressive indeed." Grima did not need to rest for she knew certain techniques and spells to replenish her body but then again, she was a Sith Master, not a Sith Acolyte. Just as she was about to open her mouth to speak, one of the other Acolytes asked the Crusader two questions. The first question she did not care about but it was the second question that piqued her interest and her interest in Crusader Zatarus' response.

Before Avreet could answer, Grima melded her mind to his and said through the Force so only they could hear each other since they still had a mental link from their days as Master and Apprentice. "Cautious my friend....I know your feelings on this subject so tread carefully with your response." Grima pulled her mind from his and waited for the answer.

I felt a strong presence that I knew all to well growing closer to the chamber. I turned around just as the chamber doors slid open and in stepped my Master. I was shocked to see that she was attending this class but it made sense to me, for she was always on the hunt for learning new Force powers or techniques. She gave me a slight nod and I returned her gesture by saying, "Master Volitu." When my Master began speaking with the Crusader, I slowly faded into the mixture of the other students. I saw one looking at my Master with what appeared to be contempt or hatred in his eyes and I smiled to myself.

I listened as the Mon Calamari Crusader began to instruct us on the applications and dangers of Force Drain with complete focus. I knew from some Sith Magick my Master had taught me that certain powers if not properly used could result in the users own death. When the teacher completed his wordy lesson, it was time for him to demonstrate the power and after meditating I was ready to have my energy sapped from me.

I felt a slight tremor coursing through my body as my Force energy began to be siphoned by the Crusader. With my eyes closed and mind locked in a meditative state, I could literally "see" the energy transfer from me to Crusader Zatarus. Slowly the feeling began to subside and though I felt exhausted, I was excited by what just occurred. I never knew such a power was possible and now that I had my first taste of it, I craved to use it now myself. But now was not the time.

I sat on the floor, crossing my left leg over my right and shut my eyes, blocking out all sights and sounds while my mind focused on my laboured breathing and visions the Force was still showing me.

Master Volitu sounded impressed, which was certainly a good sign. Before answering to the students, Avreet felt a familiar presence in his mind and heard Master Volitu's words. He knew what she referred to, so he nodded, making it look as if the nod was aimed to the Acolyte asking the questions, while in truth it was not. "I wouldn't say it like that, Acolyte, but if you feel exhaustion or nausea, possibly losing will to live, it is normal. All of that will go away in time. And you can interpret my warning however you want. The point is, you start draining too much, you get put down like an animal." Said the amphibious Crusader, having no intention of talking about it further, and glanced at the Wookiee who telepathically asked if he was going to teach them how to defend themselves. The Mon Calamari decided to do that right not.

"Acolyte Rookwrr wants to learn how to defend against this power. It is easy, students. Break your opponent's focus. Force them to do something else by attacking them or using the Force. As you grow more powerful, it will be harder for less powerful beings to drain you, too." Because there appeared to be no more questions that needed to be answered, Avreet finally got to actual teaching, or as close as a Force sensitive can get. "You must reach out through the Force, feel the other's Force energies and pull them, draw them to yourself, like you draw energies through meditation. Before we'll start with draining targets over distance, come closer and touch me. Draining a being is much easier and faster when physically touching them, but do not forget your focus can be easily broken."

Avreet's body was full of energy, stolen from the Acolytes and the Sith Master. On the top of that, the previous meditation made sure he had more energy than needed, ready to be drained by the Acolytes. With their lack of skill, they wouldn't be able to drain his enough to kill him, and Master Volitu would surely be careful not to damage her former apprentice.

That was all Sin'ryk needed to hear from the Mon Calamari. The Dark Side of the Force is after all an aspect of life,it should not be used to destroy that which it was a part of. Avreet then began to speak again, this time it was from a telepathic communique from Rookwr.

"Acolyte Rookwrr wants to learn how to defend against this power. It is easy, students. Break your opponent's focus. Force them to do something else by attacking them or using the Force. As you grow more powerful, it will be harder for less powerful beings to drain you, too."

A useful piece of advice, thought Sin'ryk. It would serve no purpose to teach a power without learning how to defend against it. The next piece of instruction then emerged from the Mon Calamari Sith's lips...if they could be called that.

And so Sin'ryk did, he approached Crusader Avreet with an outstretched arm. Tridactyl hand clasping the teacher's form, the Red Sith reached out to the Force. From there he saw and felt the power coursing through the Mon Calamari's body. Focussing, the Aspiring Sorcerer beckoned the amassed power to flow into him. Small streams of Force energy flowed into Sin'ryk, pouring life and vigor into his form, washing away the tide of fatigue that overcame him before. Aware that he will only be able to drain small amounts, the Pureblood stopped, content with his actions thus far. Avreet didn't seem perturbed in the slightest.

Break the opponent's concentration, simple enough, and a technique that could counter several force powers. Rook would make it a point to train to focus his concentration to the point where a simple lightsaber strike wouldn't break it. He suspected that would be easier said than done, however, and might not be attainable until he was a Master himself. Rook grabbed hold on Avreet's arm and reached out through the force, and was amazed at the mass of stored energy within the Crusader. He could send us all flying and still have enough left over if we survived, he marveled. Rook sought to grasp at Avreet's energy, but he found no purchase, simply grabbing at it through the force wasn't working. He closed his eyes and focused on the energy. He reached for it, and focused on forging a connection to the massed power, then willed it to pour into himself. It slowly trickled into him before Rook willed it to come faster. When he had replenished most of what he had lost, he severed the connection between them and stepped back.

Rook could see then how much concentration it did take, and that using the power in the heat of battle was likely to only wear himself out. Interesting. He would have to use it on a defeated opponent, one that was unable to retaliate effectively. It would be much easier, he concluded, to practice on non-force sensitives at first, as they would likely have less of an idea what was going on and how to fight it.

Damion staggered up to the crusader. He could feel the massive amounts of force energy surging through him. He placed his hands on the man and began to focus on the energy inside of him. He could feel the presence and amount of the energy but seemed unable to get anything from the man. He focused deeply and only on the energy in the man and transferring that energy to himself. The energy did not move at first. However, he concentrated harder and began to pull energy from the crusader back into his own body.

He felt the energy begin to trickle in beginning to replenish the energy that had been drained from him. He willed the energy to flow faster and it rushed towards him. He stopped at the point he felt his force reserves return to a normal point. He released the crusader invigorated at being able to have performed the skill. He did note the concentration it took to perform the skill so he understood the crusader's words.

The time had come for the Sith Master to exercise her knowledge of what she had learned and endured from the power, Force Drain. She shifted her eyes from one Acolyte to the next before resting her eyes on the Crusader. With a dark and sinister smile on her face, she stepped toward him so they were facing one another. "Perhaps I should siphon the energy from one of these Acolytes instead," she said turning her head, looking over her left shoulder.

Then without warning she quickly gripped the Mon Calamari by his head with her left hand, her fingers spread across his forehead, and her right hand holding the back of his head. She began to transfer his energy into her body, filling herself up with her former Apprentice's Dark Side energy. As her own body began to quickly fill with his energy, she began to feel his body slump slightly and then she released her hands from his head breaking the power, taking him by the shoulder to keep him from collapsing.

"My darkest apologies old friend," the Sith Witch said with a hint of a smile on her lips. Then leaning in closer so only he could hear her, she whispered, "Thank you for the knowledge and I'll see you soon." The Sith Master pulled her folds around her and exited the chamber.

Feeling ready to make my first attempt at the new power after a successful meditation session I rose to my feet and watched as the others touched Crusader Zatarus. Then I watched my own Master grab the Crusader and began to drain him to near exhaustion but she released him and after speaking, she leaned in and whispered something into the Mon Calamari's ear. I watched Master Volitu leave the chamber and then I moved toward the Crusader.

I could detect that his energy was returning so I reached out and grabbed his arm and I too began to drain his energy but after a short while, I released him; feeling full and somewhat stronger from his energy. I stepped back where the others where and waited.

The first three students effectively took back what he had stolen from them earlier, or most of it. Avreet was still left with more power than normally. Master Volitu used that to practice Force drain to her heart’s desire, so after making sure he would not resist, claiming she’d drain another student, the Sith Witch suddenly turned her attention to her former apprentice and sucked him dry. The feeling of his energies being taken away at such a high rate almost knocked him over, exhaustion kicking in, but the Togruta obviously did not want to hurt her successful apprentice, stopping Force drain in time and whispering a mysterious message into his ear. The Mon Cal knew she was not joking when she said she’d see him soon. "Master…" he silently moaned after the exotic woman, seeing her leave.

Luckily, the amphibious Crusader’s energy began returning fairly quickly, allowing the last student to drain her bit. Taking a deep breath and kneeling down, the Crusader meditated, the Force supplying him with fresh energy again. As much as he would have loved to have a long bath and regain the rest of his power there, the fishy Sith’s class was not over yet. "Good, students," another deep breath and he was good to go, "As you’ll soon discover, draining the energy from someone over distance is not that different as when you’re touching your opponent physically. Obviously, physical contact is much faster and it is harder to defend against it, but there are situations when getting closer to your enemy are out of option. There shouldn’t be any solid obstacle between you and your target, at least not with your current level of skill."

"I have displayed it in the beginning of this class. Focus and find your opponent’s presence in the Force and attempt to touch that presence. Once you do that, it is the same as if you’re really touching them, except it is easier for them to resist and distract you. Feel free to try it on me." The young Crusader began draining the Force around himself, preparing his body for another sudden loss of energy.

The Pureblood's eyestalk rose after witnessing the actions of Master Volitu; surely Crusader Zatarus would be insane if he should carry on the lesson after the Togruta's close-range Force Drain. The Mon Calamari seemed to regain himself overall.

"Good, students," the crusader breathed deep. "As you’ll soon discover, draining the energy from someone over distance is not that different as when you’re touching your opponent physically. Just as Avreet finished drawing the Force into himself, Sin'ryk began to reach out to the newly coalescent energies within the Mon Calamari. Gently, the Pureblood began to coax it out of the Crusader...until it turned into a fast stream of power. Content with this action, Sin'ryk began to meditate; waiting for whatever Avreet planned next.
