(Probably gonna get a friend to get me a new pic soon)

NAME: Drex Clamont

FACTION: Jedi Army

RANK: Jedi Knight

SPECIES: Human

AGE: 20

GENDER: Male

APPEARANCE: Drex has dark blue eyes and he has shaggy, jet black hair that goes slightly past his ears in the back and can go down a little below his eyes in the front, but is usually swept to the side and he has a scar that goes down his right cheek, onto his shoulder and across part of his back. Drex has a light skin tone, but looks much paler than he should because of the dark clothes he wears normally. He stands at a height of six feet and weighs one hundred and thirty seven pounds.

FORCE SENSITIVE: Drex is force sensitive and has been trained since he was a child.

ATTRIBUTES: Being shy, many people would expect Drex to be a scholarly type who focuses on the force but nothing can be further from the truth. While he had a decent grasp on the force, Drex was always praised for his ability in lightsaber combat. He was considered the best at dueling in his age group from the moment he had built his own lightsaber. Since he wasn’t naturally gifted in the force, he tried to make up for it by practicing for hours on end with a lightsaber. He was naturally quick, so he chose to practice Form IV, using the force to enhance his physical abilities. Drex has also distinguished himself as a decent starfighter pilot, but not nearly good as trained military pilots.

Despite training with a lightsaber, Drex was never the most physically strong having to rely on the force to enhance his strength. He has also be known to let his emotions get ahold of him, but such occasions have only happened twice and the last time was a year ago and he seems to have gotten a hold of it.

PERSONALITY: Drex had always been shy as an initiate, keeping to himself most of the time. Others around him seemed naturally charismatic compared to him, which annoyed Drex as he also couldn’t do a Jedi mind trick very well. While he was shy and didn’t really make friends, he would always get in trouble for sticking up for people he felt were being wronged, being criticized for letting his emotions drive him too much. Despite being shy, those who talked with him every once in awhile realized that he meant well. The only person he really talked to was his mentor, but recently his mentor had passed away. Other Jedi didn’t really seem to understand that all Drex wanted was respect from others, seeing his relentless training as him trying to gain power despite what his master had told others and later would mistake his determination for foolishness.

BIOGRAPHY: Drex was born to a humble, loving couple who lived on the planet of Corellia. At the age of six, however, it was discovered that he was force sensitive. Thinking that it would be best for Drex, his parents sent him to be trained by the Jedi so he could learn their ways. He would spend the next fourteen years learning their code, training with a lightsaber, and learning how to use the force.

During his time at the Jedi temple, Drex kept to himself for the most part. As an initiate, the only time he was around other initiates was when they were being taught together or required to train together. Other than that, he would meditate alone, practice alone, and study alone. One of the Jedi Knights took a special interest in him, offering to take him on as an apprentice at the age of sixteen.

Drex and his master grew close, his master understanding Drex’s desire to be respected by others and would always show it to him. The two became inseparable and were seen as a very dangerous duo. Their three years together went relatively well, never failing a mission. However, when Drex was nineteen, the two were sent on an escort mission that would almost certainly cause them to see conflict with a skilled sith. About halfway to their destination, they were attacked, as was expected. However, what they didn’t account for was the sith bringing his acolyte. A fight broke out, which was to buy time for the person they were escorting to get away, but the sith were fine with killing two Jedi instead of the target. Drex fought the acolyte, the two dueling for a few minutes. However, Drex’s calm composure while also attacking relentlessly proved to be too much for the acolyte’s sloppy form and Drex managed to find an opening, stabbing him in the stomach. It was the first time he had taken a life, but he didn’t have time to think about it as he looked back at his master. He rushed over, joining in the fight against the masked sith which lasted much longer than the one against the acolyte, even though it was two against one. His master told him to run and Drex refused, but his master yelled at him to go. Drex, never hearing his master yell at him, decided to listen, running off. When he was a good distance away, he looked back and watched as his master and the sith fought. After a few more minutes, the sith managed to break his defence, slashing at his stomach before stabbing him while his guard was briefly down. Drex saw this, becoming angry for a moment but he heard a voice behind him and realized it was the person he was supposed to escort. He knew he couldn’t just leave her, so he turned away and ran with her to their destination, not once looking back.

From that day, Drex decided he would never give up or leave anyone when they needed him. Part of him also wanted vengeance for what happened to his master, but another knew that was not the Jedi way and for the next year he would be battling with the idea, trying to suppress his desire for revenge in order to better himself and finally become a Jedi Knight. Once he was finally given the rank of Knight at the age of twenty, he was told he would have to learn to work with others a little more. He agreed and was finally shown the respect he thought he had deserved...though there is still a part of him that wants revenge for what happened to his master. It’s a part he keeps hidden, but a part that exists nonetheless...and could be taken advantage of if not dealt with properly.

SKILLS: Drex knows all the core force powers taught to Padawans, such as Force Speed, Force Stealth, Force Sense, Force Jump, Force Push/Pull, Telekinesis and so on. All of these he has a decent grasp of, but what he focuses on his Acrobatics, using the force to enhance his physical traits in order to get an edge on his opponents in combat.

Drex has always favoured the Ataru form, also known as Form IV. Despite his usual calm composure, in fights, he likes to be relentless with his attacks but even so keeps a level head while fighting. He has also recently began practicing Djem So more, also known as Form V, in order to hone his defensive skills and countering ability as a result of a fight he lost.

Drex has also been regarded as a rather good starfighter pilot, having been taught by his former master ever since he was taken on as an apprentice. While Drex wouldn’t be a match for a military trained pilot, he would be able to hold his own in a dogfight at the very least.

GEAR: Drex has a blue lightsaber he made as a youngling, Jedi Robes, and light armor.

Alright, so just wanted to clear a few things up. I originally made this character as a Jedi who became a sith, and while I liked the idea, I didn't want that to happen in a backstory because that didn't seem nearly as fun. So, since I never rp'ed with that version of Drex, I'm getting rid of him completely and introducing new Drex. The idea behind this character is to not have him turn necessarily, but to try and make a character that organically develops with the flow of everything happening around him instead of it all being pre-determined. Maybe someone plays his enemy and he ends up getting that revenge he's been hiding, or manages to forgive the man and buries the desire for good. Which brings me to my next note.

I also wanted to make sure it's okay that he has a run-in with an unknown sith and their acolyte, killing the acolyte and having the other get away. Someone playing this masked sith, be it a new one to come or one that already exists, would be interesting for my character development but I wanted to make sure that was okay/if anyone would want to.

My philosophy when it comes to this character is while there's so much going on around him, he's got his own story to tell and I want him to be able to tell it, without me having set actions for him and the easiest way to do that is to give him a solid conflict and see where it goes. I also thought giving him a player controlled enemy would be a fun way for me to get involved. Idk if this part was necessary to put here or if I should put it in a different thread, which I might do as well, but I just wanted to state why I put the "mysterious masked sith" in his background.
