Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the girl's light saber fly out of her hands. Out of pure instinct, he turned his saber off and threw it in the woman's direction, hoping she would catch it. In the meantime, he punched the guy charging him, break the rebel's jaw and sending a wave of pain through Ronan's hand and up his arm. Maybe that hadn't been such a good idea.

Nova laid on the ground, still struggling to fight his heavy arm off while he seemed to press down harder and harder. One hand was trying to push him away, the other tried to call the lightsaber back to he, but it didn't come. She tried to turn her head to the side, realizing that she couldn't summon her saber because another Sith had just took it. Cursing loudly, she tilted her head back, looking at the attacker who had just started to come dangerously close to her throat, when suddenly, something did fly into her still outstretched hand. Grabbing the hilt, she activated it immediately, the blade immediately shooting through his head, penetrating his brain. When he collapsed on top her, she tilted her head to the side again, realizing that the grumpy guy from the bar had just literally saved her life.

Ronan fought the oncoming rebels without his lightsaber. He would have done better with it, but due to his stupid instincts he had given it to the arrogant girl from the bar. Most of the imperials had ran away in the chaos of the moment, leaving the few trained Sith to fight off all the rebels. It was a quick, chaotic, brutal fight and Ronan soon found himself breathing hard, surrounded by dead and unconscious bodies. He turned to the girl and walked over to her, extending his hand.

Nova quickly caught her breath, realizing that this small fight has been rather intense. She didn't care much about having almost died a few moments ago, but she was starting to feel really pissed again. Her glare was deadly, she could feel all the rage boiling up inside her while she shoved the dead man down from her. She still cursed under her breath for loosing her lighsaber in the first place, but she already knew why it had happened. It was the once thing everyone kept rememinding her of: Her uncontrolled emotions. Instead of pulling strength out of her rage, she sometimes tended to loose focus.

Ronan still stood over the girl, his hand extended. He could feel the rage radiating off of her and it reminded him painfully of Hailee. He had reached out his hand for his lightsaber back but he would not complain if she misunderstood and thought he meant to help her up, should she place her hand in his. A distraction would be good.

When she had caught her breath, she wanted to sit up and gain an broad overview over the scenery inside the cantina, but when her rage started to fade, she realized that there was a hand outstretched just in front of her. She took it and let herself be helped up, even though she did notice that he was basically just wanting his saber back. However, like always, she couldn't care less, so she simply grinned. "Thanks...for the help and stuff" she figured she could show at least some amount of gratitude.

"Mm," Ronan replied, dropping her hand. "Instincts," he explained, turning to survey the mess of a bar. "Where are you going after this?" he asked casually, as if they hadn't destroyed an entire bar and massacred a group of rebels.

She straightened her clothes and smoothed down her hair before she let her gaze finally wander across the scene. Well...that escalated quickly. Nova expected the man to make some sort of comment, but he didn't. Instead, he even asked her for her plans. She raised an eyebrow at him, not quite sure whether he was joking or not." I don't know. I was looking for a distraction, now I am quite distracted so maybe I'll go wherever the wind takes me" she responded sarcastically, as though quoting it from a cheesy text.

Ronan turned back to the girl. "I happen to be looking for a distraction as well," he replied. There was an awkward silence in which the two stared at each other but then Ronan spoke again. "You never told me your name," he said nonchalantly.

"Also a distraction? Well what a happy coincidence" she replied with a smirk, her gaze still wandering through the cantina until it remained fixed on him. "That's true" she said dryly, the smirk fading from her face, before it reappeared. She wanted to tease him a little, and she had hoped that it was working."It's Nova. What about your name?" she added.

"Ronan," he replied, wondering why in the world she kept smirking and then dropping the smirk. An idea slowly occurred to him, and so Ronan crossed his arms, eyeing Nova with a smirk of his own. "Tell me about yourself, Nova," he said. "Where are you from, what are your life goals, what's your favorite color, what do you look for in a partner," he said, listing off basic-ass stuff to annoy her, seeing if she would answer any of them.

She knew exactly what he was doing just as he was starting to open his mouth again. His smirk told her everything. She playfully tilted her head to the side and started to play with a loose strand of hair."Oh I'm glad that you ask. So I've always dreamed of this huge, magical wedding somewhere on a tropical planet and this morning I said to myself: Today you will finally meet him. The man of your dreams" she replied in a deep, sarcastic tone.

Ronan couldn't help the chuckle that escaped him. "Well aren't you a peach," he snorted, before composing himself. "And have you?" he asked.

"A peach? Oh how charming" she replied overly sweet, still playing with the strand of hair. "Well why don't you go ahead and tell me?" she then added sarcastically. Yeah, this was kind of distracting but she had also no idea where this was going to go so she was intrigued

Ronan cocked an eyebrow, looking down at the girl in front of him. Despite the scars on one side of her face, she was pretty in a fierce, kick-your-ass kind of way. "And how would I know who the man of your dreams is?" he said.

Nova waited for a few seconds by means of raising the level of tension, simply smirking at him and throwing him a meaningful look. "I guess you wouldn't know unless I would tell you" she replied with a devious shrug. She wondered whether it was a good idea to choose him. After all, their first conversation wasn't the best, but right now, the fight seemed to have changed a few things.

Ronan raised an eyebrow at Nova. She seemed a lot like him, and he didn't know if it was a good thing or a bad thing. They would either get along spectacularly or kill each other. Guess it wouldn't hurt to find out. "I heard of a grand opening of a new cantina, supposed to be nice. Got a dress?" he asked her, straightening his robes.

Nova had caught her breath and smoothened her hair when she heard him ask her something unexpected. She raised an eyebrow at him, contemplating whether he was being serious. She casually shrugged, but couldn't help but to smirk. "Sure I do. That sounds fun, so why not?".

Ronan tilted his head to the door of the now silent wrecked cantina. "I'll send you the coordinates to the cantina," he said, heading for the open doorway. He was glad to see she was surprised at his suggestion. So he still had it then.
