This was the second factory Cardinal was going to raid and hopefully steal a minimum of fifty droids. Cardinal had brought along three ships, all manned by his men, and two other individuals had come along, bringing their ships. Exchange Council Member, Norbaal Fanth (@Nor'baal ) and a individual Cardinal did not know personally, but knew much about, Aurielie Flury (@Pyrenees ). Cardinal's three ships entered the airspace, and as directed by the control tower, landed on a dock. Cardinal was in his suit, poised as a Loronar Inspector, with his name in the records, stating he had a meeting here to inspect the facility, and bring some droids back to headquarters. The ships landed, and Cardinal and his men got out. Cardinal did not know where the other two partners were, but he hoped they would be able to get in and out relatively easy. Cardinal and his men stood together in a group when Employees from the factory came out smiling, feeling somewhat intimidated that someone from higher up was going to inspect them, they were nervous, nevertheless, they greeted Cardinal and welcomed him.

Aurelie often felt rather comfortable piloting ships, but this time, she was nervous. The freighter itself was not a problem, in fact, it handled rather well - what troubled her was that she had rented it from Czerka Corporation which meant that any damages to the vessel could prove to be quite expensive. Despite the rental price itself being relatively low and easily covered by the pay she would receive from this job, Aurelie regretted not renting the much cheaper Nerf-class as any damages would be less costly. But from what little contact she had with the employer, the thief got the impression that the additional cargo space might be needed. Without any good excuse as to why she would be allowed onto the property of the factory, the young woman simply parked her vehicle nearby and approached the factory by foot.

If there had ever been a memo of how she was supposed to get inside the facility, the girl had most certainly missed it. But, in order to get in, all she'd really need was a pass card, something which was rather easy to come by as a fair amount of workers seemed to end their shift. In no more than ten minutes, the thief spotted a young woman with an appearance similar to hers exiting the factory - a perfect mark. Without much effort, she bumped into the mark causing a bag to be dropped and the contents spilled. Whilst apologizing, Aurelie quickly aided the victim in gathering her belongings and helped herself to a pass card, the name tag of a certain Ines Coudre and what looked like locker keys. Following the small stream of incoming workers, the new Ines found her way into the factory and perhaps more impressively: Into the locker room.

Dressed in a blue jumpsuit, a matching cap and with weapons hidden in a company duffel bag, Aurelie walked westward where she had seen the docks before entering the building. After having looked for a while, the landing party was finally spotted. Despite never having met Cardinal, the thief remembered that he was supposed to arrive with three ships and a small crew, and there they were. Without much ado, she approached the team and soon stretched out a hand to the man in the suit "Ines Coudre!" she exclaimed in a greeting before glancing down at the name tag attached to her chest for a quick read "Mechanical engineer" Her tone was cheerful and jovial, obviously satisfied and quite interested to see if her employer would figure out that it was her.

Cardinal greeted the employees with a mere nod. Cardinal examined the crowd for a second, when he noticed a woman in a dark suit come practically jumping towards them. The director saw Cardinal glance past him, and turned his head as well to see what was catching his attention. The woman approached and spoke. Perfect, and on time. She was going to help with stealing the droids, and she looked right for the job. Cardinal took her hand shaking it, his mind going back to when he had first shaked her hand a week ago, giving her the job. "Ah, Miss Coudre, nice to meet you. You work in the Mechanical division?" Cardinal said, ignoring the director. "Director, i believe this woman can accompany me to the droids, i no longer require you. I will examine the droids, and bring fifty droids as per regulations back to headquarters." Cardinal nodded to the man, no doubt relieved that he wouldn't be walking with his superior. If anything were to go wrong, let it fall on the girls shoulder the man thought. He nodded, and walked away, leaving Cardinal and Aurie alone together. "Shall we?" Cardinal guestured his men to follow.

It seemed like Cardinal recognized her as the two greeted each other. Functioning as an excuse for him to get rid of the director, she responded "That's right, sir. Best in the sector! If your ship needs fixin' we can do it. If there's a droid you need build..." Aurelie stopped in the middle of the bragging, seeing how the director gave her a somewhat annoyed and nervous look. She was a little surprised at how much fear Cardinal had managed to instill without having to resort to violence or threats - just forgery. "...well, if there's a droid you need, we can look at it. It's very complicated, but I assure you, we're the best!" The young woman gave the director a quick wink, confident that she'd managed to impress them with how she handled the important inspector in front of them.

The thief found it thoroughly amusing that Cardinal had been able to dismiss the director so easily but kept a stale face as her supposed boss walked away. "I hope you can navigate in here. I've just got the feel of the basic layout of the building and the fire safety map" she whispered under her teeth. With a slight bow, the girl signaled for the inspector and his crew to come along "This way, please."

They entered one of the main corridors of the building. It was very empty as all the workers had assumed their stations. "There's supposed to be a large room up there" she said while pointing up the hallway. "It's probably a manufacturing area or a storage area" she noted before looking back at Cardinal to see if he had any insight in the matter.

Cardinal nodded to Aureile, and they proceeded to walk through the corridor. "I have a map on my datapad, should be in and out in a jiffy." Cardinal glanced at a security camera in the corner, he simply smiled. This was about to be one of the biggest heists without a blaster being drawn. They walked down the hallway in silence. "So Aureile, we didn't have the time to formally get acquainted, other than our names, we hardly know each other." Cardinal partly lied, he had done a full background check, as he did with all his clients and employees. He didn't want a untrustful person to compromise his operation. She also had the potential to work in his cliche, or more formally known family mafia. His family had amassed a great amount of wealth and power, though the mafia was small.

"That's because my name isn't Aurelie, sir. As I said, my name is Ines Coudre" she said in a jokingly upset tone, flashing him a knowing smile. The hallway seemed to be long and empty enough for them to at least have some kind of conversation before arriving at the large open area she had observed. "I suppose you're right" her response was short but the girl didn't know how much there was to say about herself as 'small time thief' weren't the most impressive title she had ever encountered. And compared to Cardinal, it certainly seemed to be insignificant to say the least. Perhaps it would be easier to let him speak, but then, making a good impression on the guy handing out the paychecks rarely went wrong. In fact, the guy with the paychecks tended to be one of the most important people in most situations. With that, she made an effort to advance the conversation "I'm good at getting stuff. You know.. pickpocketing, hotwiring speeders, that kinda stuff. But I arrived in one of those cargo freighters, the Overhead ones, and that one is actually rented" The young woman seemed glad about renting the freighter, as if it was some kind of major accomplishment "We could probably stuff some droids in there if your ships get to crowded. Even one of your guys if you don't trust me not to run away with the cargo" she said with a light-hearted tone. It would be quite understandable if the seemingly savvy man man didn't trust a thief such as herself to transport his droids alone.

After a while, the two reached the end of the long corridor. The large room on the other side of the door seemed quiet as no noise could be heard through the door. But then, it didn't seem implausible for it to be a good sound-isolating door too. Regardless, there wasn't much else to do but to open it as Cardinal seemed to agree that it was the correct way. Upon opening the door, a muffled sound of a busy production line could be heard - apparently, they entered into a makeshift control room, overseeing the factory through a large glass wall and several monitors. Quick on her feet, Aurelie signaled for him to enter "Welcome to the control room, inspector. Here you can see how the droids are produced" her voice was definitely loud enough for the three overseers in the room to hear. Walking over to the head overseer, she lowered her voice a little "The inspector haven't been very impressed so far. We are to send him a sample of 60 droids, director's orders." she spoke to him as if it was an internal and somewhat pressing matter with a hand laid on his upper arm.

Cardinal chuckled. “Of course.” They continued walking down the long hallway, doors on each side of the walls. “Interesting, and you’re out looking for a stable job i assume? If so after this assignment, i may have an answer for you. I am part of a organization that is powerful and needs people like you, talented people. Ill send you more info when were done.” It was true, both his mafia and the Exchange needed more members. People they could trust, and while she was a theif, Cardinal had some trust in her.”Freighter you say? Renting on must be expensive. The fact that she rented it instead of simply stealing it gave Cardinal a sense of hope that she was honorable, though how she got the money could prove otherwise, nonetheless, Cardinal gave the woman the benefit of the doubt. “Yes i suppose some of the droids would have to go in your ship. No need for my men to go in your ship. Though for security of course, you will get paid more then the droids in your ship after we have gone to my base to offload. Surely you understand.” Cardinal said. They walked into the long room and Cardinal surveyed the room. Cardinal nodded when she spoke. Apparently they were going to get 60 droids? That was 10 more then he planned to take. “50 will suffice, later i might come back for the rest, i trust you will take good care of them?”

Aurelie smiled as Cardinal praised her, it didn't happen very often and whenever it did, she enjoyed it thoroughly. The thief didn't know too much about the man's organisation and appreciated his offer to send more information "Sure, I'll take all information I can get" she chirped happily with a smile.

As they kept walking, he asked about the freighter she'd rented. "It sure costs a few credits but I had to get here somehow, right?" her tone was jovial and she soon explained "I was thinking about, uh, you know.. borrowing a ship. But if anyone would've been able to track me all the way to you, none of us would be very happy, right?"

The girl was a little surprised as her employer didn't care much for putting a guard at her ship but it all felt normal again when he used some economical leverage instead. It didn't matter too much for Aurelie though, as she had always intended to keep her part of the deal. Cardinal was someone she wanted to be on good terms with for more than a few hours. In fact, she weren't too keen on getting on his bad side at all, seeing how he had practically made everyone believe that he owned the place and already seemed to have a crew. She shrugged carelessly and let out a short "Sure thing!" while assuming her persona is Ines again.

Their ploy seemed to work well. The head overseer started to stutter as she mentioned the 60 droids, knowing that they only had 54 ready to go and was visibly relieved as Cardinal changed it to 50. "Yyes, ofofcourse Mr. uhm, uh, Inspector! We'll have them ready whwhen you return" Aurelie had to turn around, pretending like she was gazing out over the manufacturing band as she desperately prevented herself from laughing out loud at the fear they had managed to instill in the head overseer. She crossed her arms and was Ines Coudre, once again. Turning to trembling man she reached out a hand holding a datapad "Transfer the droid commands to the console please." she said with a confident voice as she quickly scanned his name badge reading Carneuvelieure Odante before leaning in towards the man to whisper "Don't worry C.O, I'll get him off of your hands" prompting the man to comply in no time.

With that, she stepped to Cardinal's left and put her right hand on his upper back while holding the control pad infront of them both to see. "Wanna do the honours, inspector?" she asked, and pointed at the ready droids at the other side of the window.

Cardinal watched as the poor man stuttered, feeling bad. Cardinal smiled... the power he had, without even drawing a weapon. It was as if he were a god. Cardinal listened to the man speak, his words coming out fast. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see Aureilie turn and her body shake. Cardinal shook his head, rude. The datapad was transfered without a word, the man thankful for Cardinal not criticizing him. Aureilie said something in the man's ear that seemed to calm him a bit. Cardinal felt her hand on his back, and nodded, smiling. "Let's get it done. I'll have my men come in to take the droids." Cardinal said, motioning for his men to go in the storage room to take the droids. Cardinal watched in silence smiling. He put his hand on Aurielie's shoulder and whispered in her ear. "This is how you do it. 50 of their finest droids vanished from right infront of them." An hour later, the droids were all packed on their ships, and ready to go.
