FACTION: Independent

AGE: 19

GENDER: Male

HEIGHT: 210 cm / 6'11"

WEIGHT: 109.8 kg / 242 lbs

FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes. Trained.

APPEARANCE:

Drussk is a tall and lean Trandoshan with long limbs and four-digit hands with long fingers. His scales are predominantly of a muddy red coloration.

ATTRIBUTES:

Physically imposing and athletic, Drussk is often at an advantage in close quarters, able to bully his way through most opponents. Two opponents is to him as one would be to most. The drawback to his size is that opponents will often focus most of their attention on him, which makes combat particularly dangerous for him. Marksmanship isn't his strength, so he prefers to use weapons like light repeaters to compensate. He works well with others and prefers to work in groups, setting up his allies to play off his strengths. He sees his force sensitivity as his greatest potential strength, but without formal training his powers are only still in their infancy, he wishes to seek out a master but is unsure about committing himself to an order like the sith or jedi. His friends worry he may like gambling a little too much.

PERSONALITY:

Most of Drussk's character has been shaped by his experiences growing up on Trandosha, and in primarily Mandalorian space, hunting on Kashyyyk, and working as an independent contractor for the Hutts and Czerka corp. He's a fairly simple lizard, not to say he's dumb, he takes things as they come and lives mostly day-to-day enjoying the company of good people, spending his credits, and taking a job when he needs more. He's mostly motivated by hedonism and personal gain without concern for much else. Drussk has a pragmatic outlook on life, a bluntness to his mannerisms, and a sense of honor adopted from the dominant Mandalorian culture in the region. Though he might not think of himself as a bad person, a life in the company of killers, slavers, gangsters, and the shady Czerka corp have left much to be desired in Drussk's moral compass. To him, that's just how the world works, though he does hold the Mandolrians and their ideals in admiration. He thinks the Mandolorians' hatred of the force is strange and counter to their otherwise pragmatic nature.

BIOGRAPHY:

Drussk was born on Trandosha, where he grew up learning to hunt and listening to the older hunters' stories of the greater galaxy beyond Dosha. They instilled in him a yearning to venture into the stars and explore for himself. When he came of age at 15, he left Dosha for the first time to begin his rite of passage by hunting a wookiee on Kashyyyk. During the hunt, Drussk was unwittingly led into a trap by his quarry, and found himself disturbing a nest of Kinraths. Unable to escape the beasts, the young Drussk had no choice but to fighte his way out or die trying. He was badly wounded, but managed to kill enough of the beasts that the rest fled, collapsing himself from exertion and blood loss once the adrenaline wore off. Fortunately his father's hunting party was watching nearby and was able to keep him from bleeding out, and take him to Dosha to recover and celebrate.

The following years saw Drussk working with his father's hunting party, hunting on Kashyyyk and doing jobs for Czerka. Before long, Drussk, along with some friends and a handful of other reputable Trandoshans left for a more lucrative job opportunity on Nal Hutta, working as a guard and enforcer for the hutt cartels. On Nal Hutta he met one of his closest friends, an Ubese named Ija who went by the handle "Zero". Zero was a force-sensitive bounty hunter and enforcer for the hutts, who befriended Drussk upon recognizing his force-sensitivty. She helped Drussk learn to use the force as a weapon, and the two developed a strong bond. For Drussk to learn more about the force and gain further training, he knew he would have to find a master, which would likely mean leaving the comfort of familiar Mandalorian space and travelling to Korriban. He's uncertain about the prospect of training under the Sith, but seems to have reached his limit as far as self-teaching and learning from Zero can take him, and is becoming frustrated at his inability to progress on his own.

SKILLS:

Hunting and swordsmanship are Drussk's two most natural and thoroughly trained and experienced skills. Marksmanship and use of the Force are skills he continues to work on daily. He has basic understanding of mechanics, computers, and piloting. Currently he is only proficient with basic applications of the force, such as telekinesis and heightened senses, strength, or reflexes. He's recently discovered he can pair the force with his natural regenerative abilities to recover ever so slightly easier from injuries or illness though it seems to still be quite difficult and often the exhaustion from attempting it outweighs any real benefit, and requires far too much time and focus to be used in combat. It should be noted that while Drussk does have some training with the Force, he is easily outclassed by those with real formal training like Sith Acolytes or Jedi Padawans.

SHIP:

Drussk's Mynock-series freighter, the "Queen" has the faded and chipped lettering "Long live the Queen" painted in pink on the hull and other signs of a previous feminine owner such as the occasional cute sticker or stuffed animal on the cockpit (which Drussk assumes is a luck charm). Drussk was awarded the ship by his benefactor after capturing it's previous owner, Koail Enduro, who lost a shipment of important cargo for the Hutts. Enduro is presumably working off his debts as a slave, but the ship's logs suggest it has switched hands countless times. Despite being asked by many a confused spacer, Drussk has displayed no interest in altering the ship's appearance, he believes it's uniqueness will help him build a reputation as a fearsome bounty hunter and warrior for hire.

So just a couple things. You'll need to change the terentatek in his bio to some other creature. Tarentatek's are not something that a level one character can solo on their own, it would have eviscerated you with minimal effort. You could change it to having Drussk getting fooled and falling into a kinrath nest, those are pretty common on Kashyyyk and pretty deadly in numbers.

The second thing would be more of a fwiw, and that's just me pointing out that while Drussk is "trained" in the force, he'll still be outclassed by a formally trained acolyte or padawan. You did justice in describing that he is not that great at using the force, but I thought I'd just reinforce the point.

Thanks! I totally forgot about kinraths, that's much better. I updated the nest to kinraths and added an extra note in "Skills" that he's easily outclassed by padawans, acolytes, and their equivalents.
