The door was blasted open and anyone guarding would have been hit with a frag grenade, leaving the of them dead, others badly wounded, downed, and not able to continue fighting, but Marcella cleared the way for them to move forward in the building. Footsteps were indeed coming, four Crimson Dawn soldiers were slowly advancing towards the Mandalorian woman's position down the hallway after forcing their way down a door , armed with Marauder Pulse Wave rifles and Enforcer Armor. These guys are part of a hit squad. The initial defenses failed to keep the attackers out, but these guys surely won't. They were have rifles at the ready, all leveled and everything, with their trigger fingers itchy to spray pulse-wave shots at any given target, and ready to react to anything that would be coming their way on the fly.

Meanwhile, at the deepest end underground, the Crimson Dawn's leader would be holed up in a room fortified like a bunker, knowing that he's under attack. He would have a massive T100 Enforcer as a last line of defense just outside the bunker door along with two of his most devoted and skilled fighters. They are elite, but with the base attacked a really inconvenient time and a quite a bit of soldiers already dead, they don't have a lot of manpower left.

Allard's friends were proving to be an effective outfit. One of the guys (Nolan couldn't remember the name at that point) seemed a little bit rash in his treatment of the door lock, but other than that they were doing well. The Mandalorian was even more capable than Nolan would've expected, living up to their fame across the galaxy: she single-handedly paved the way into the building.

Nolan hung the rifle on his shoulder and pulled the blaster pistol out of the holster instead. Something told him it would be a better choice for close quarters, and it would keep one of his hands free. With that, Nolan followed Marcela into the building, stopping behind her by the T-intersection; from his position, he wouldn't see the approaching Crimson Dawn operatives, but it worked both ways.

The young man took cover by the wall, blaster pointed towards the intersection at the level of a human torso, but slightly to the side, so that the pistol wouldn't be aimed at Marcela. The Mandalorian had clearly stopped for a reason. Realising that trouble could be coming their way (at that point Nolan could hear the footsteps too), he detached one of the 2 concussion grenades from his belt.

Now Marcela had the option of taking and using it (not that she needed to, since she had looted some grenades already). Otherwise, Nolan would be prepared to shoot at anyone who'd show up from behind the corner. If someone was indeed to show in his sights, Nolan's shot would also be followed by the concussion grenade tossed behind the corner to the side of the intersection where the attacker came from.

Well... Allard had to admit that this was going... well? He felt like it was going well at least. The enemies on the outside had been dealt with and they were moving on up into the actual structure now. With his rifle up and at the ready, Allard crossed the distance to the actual entrance itself. Seeing that the way was seemingly cleared down to a T-junction, Allard waved for the rest to file on in as well as he slung his rifle over his shoulder and instead took out his TS 2-Shot.

It wasn't the length of a full rifle but carried more kick than a pistol.

Upon reaching the junction, Allard drew an explosive grenade in one hand. He nodded to both Nolan and Marci before rolling the grenade around the corner by rolling it at the wall so that it would hit and roll back down the corridor from the left, while Nolan would be shooting from the right.

Once the grenades exploded, Allard would edge around the corner with his blaster up, firing a shot at each terrorist still alive... or dead.

He wasn't above double-tapping.

Reloading his gun, Vilkas followed after Keever and the others into the building itself. He briefly noted the newly made corpses Marci had made once inside. While opposition outside had proven light the wolfman wasn’t foolish enough to believe it was the end of the conflict. Surviving numerous firefights and skirmishes left no room for him to seriously entertain such a notion until a mission is officially completed. His highly attuned ears picked the approach of Crimision Dawn members coming down the hallway.

Standing behind his leader at the wall around the corner Vilkas watched Nolan toss a concession grenade followed by Allard who hurled a explosive one soon after. Once both ignited and the humans fired their shots, Vilkas followed suit, firing three round burst in the direction that his comrades blasted before drawing back to the corner for shelter.

Kal went in as last, aiming his rifle at whatever made the most unexpected sound or sudden movement. He was extremely nervous and his sudden bolt of determined conviction that had him shoot the door open was gone as quickly as it had found him. He was glad that professional fighters had joined the smuggler's call and knew that if he charged forward he would just get in their way of clearing the building, thus he closed the group and after the grenades went off he watched their rear.

Turning to the door he had blasted open he could see the light and seeming peace of the outside world, which was a stark contrast of the chaos and risk he was facing inside the building. "Kal you stupid bantha-" he muttered, "-why are you holding a rifle in the first place?" His heroism of answering Allard Keever's calls for action and his determination of shooting that door open was gone and what was left was his fear of death and an intense sense of regret. What had been so wrong with watching some Holoflix on the ship and sign up with a shipping corporation like Blackrow or even the Republic Navy to keep the crew fed and the ship from the scrapyard? Was staying independent really worth risking his life fighting terrorists?

At least no one would be able to sneak up on them...

The rest caught up to her when she had reached the intersection; Nolan stood beside her, weapon at hand, but seemed smart enough to point it away from the woman and not at her torso. He unclipped a concussion grenade and Allard had also joined, removing a grenade of his own, activating it along with Nolan who both tossed their explosives which would roll within range of the hit squad. Marci turned her head slightly upon hearing the explosion, two should be more than plenty to debilitate the group of incoming soldiers. She held up her own pistol, ready to round the corner and fire into the smoke, however, Allard, Nolan and Vilkas beat her to it, firing down the hall at the terrorists

Marci moved position to stand behind Allard and Vilkas, "C'mon, press forward before they get their wits again!" Marci spoke and unclipped a concussion grenade from earlier looting and rolled it down the hall to catch any stragglers. The explosion sounded wet, either catching fresh flesh or beating on the old, it didn't matter to the Mandalorian, she wanted them to start to panic.

The smoke cleared enough to reveal the damage, one soldier laying on the ground lifted his blaster, but Marcella shot first, sending two bolts into his skull, burning through the duraplast of the armor that was supposed to protect his head. Between the grenades and the blaster fire from Allard, Vilkas, and Nolan, their path should be clear for now as Marci called out for them to follow, "We're clear here..." she said.

Their path was clear indeed. Once the incomers were dead, they would have to navigate comb through the building and find their way underground to find the Crimson Dawn's leader. They didn't have much more manpower to send after them and they would keep safe underground. Their leader is cowering down as the T100 Enforcer and two remaining Bulwark Heavy Armor wearing, marauder pulse rifle toting guard the armored door to the saferoom at the very end of the underground network. Collectively, they are prepared to battle as they watch over a corridor with a stairway going up, just thirty meters in front of them. That is the only way to go in there and with just the Enforcer itself, it's very well guarded. And the two other Crimson Dawn men aren't as shabby as the other mooks either.

Please tag me when you guys finish your sides' posting, I haven't been getting notifications. Thanks :)

Alright.

The enemies out front had been dealt with... which meant they were free to move on and upwards. He wanted to get this thing done and he wanted it done as quickly as possible. This mission still had the possibility of going sideways however, so as he readied his blaster again, he was ready for the worst case scenario to be the truth of their situation.

And they had to assume that the enemies ahead of them, deeper into the base, were going to be of a different calibre. As he started to descend down the stairs, Allard paused and held up a hand for the others to pause as he just listened.

There was a faint... humming?

A droid or a turret or something like that if he had to guess... and he did not like guessing. Reaching for his final grenade, Allard turned to the others,

"No chances - I'm throwing a grenade down there. Anyone wants to join in, that might help."

Allard would prime the grenade before throwing it underarm, letting it arc down the stairs and down the hallway a bit.

Nolan tried to look away from aftermath of what his squadmates had unleashed in the corridor. There'd be plenty of time for reflexions on the way back. At the moment, he needed to focus on the task at hand, and things were going better than Nolan could expect.

This time Allard chose to take the lead instead of Marci, and Nolan had no problem with that. After all, it was Allard's show and his vendetta. Nolan just followed quietly and instantly stopped as Allard held up his hand. Great, more trouble up ahead.

The young man took his last remaining concussion grenade and primed it a couple of seconds after Allard asked for anyone else to join in. Pretty useful, got to restock after this mission. Nolan threw his own grenade in the same manner as Allard, but aiming so that it would end up a little bit farther before going off.

Still looking over his shoulder every few seconds, Kall followed the group with Allard at its lead through the terrorist base. The bodies they passed didn't look to belong to weathered criminals or environmental maniacs, so perhaps, Kal figured, all of this was just because of a different political viewpoint. It was probably one of the last wars fought because of it, he also mused, since the future galaxy wasn't decided on by political heavy weights, but by whether or not a major intergalactic company owned your starports and industry or its competitor. Surely everyone knew it was only an eventuality? Unlike Empires made of planets, the corporations were built on drone barges and movable offices which made them nigh impossible to root out.

The above thought was a distraction for not having to accept that they had barged into this building to kill what looked to be unfortunate spice-heads and youthful revolutionaries. At some point in the future Kal would have to learn it the hard way, but right now all he could bear was looking over his shoulder and making sure the party of -besides himsef- hardened and well-prepared warriors wasn't jumped by a lucky political activist. "I'll have your backs," he said in response to Allard telling them he was throwing a grenade. Kal didn't bring any grenades...

Vilkas wasted no words as they continued to advance. This time passed more corpses. The tribal exile did not know why these people fight but they keep coming. Aliens and their strange ways. When Allard stopped and asked them to assist him throwing some extra grenades down the steps, Vilkas willingly obliged while stacked up to the wall.

Bringing out a frag grenade he pulled its pin after and held it for a few seconds while Allard and Nolan threw their separate and unquie little bombs. Vilkas behind his leader then hurled his metal ball downward on the path of the Alderaanian’s had went and moments later it exploded.

Marci waited for the rest of the team to pass her before she followed, stepping over the bodies and pieces of bodies, but making sure to grab a relatively in take pulse wave rifle. She checked it out, making sure it would still be in good use before following and sticking at the end for additional cover; Marci kept an eye on their backs while they pushed further into the compound with relative ease. Really the last thing they needed were to be ambushed on both ends; her blaster was holstered while she carried the pulse wave weapon was ready for anyone or anything.

She paused when the group did, hearing the same humming sound their leader Allard did and she was glad she had her helmet to hid her frown. Marci glanced up to see Allard and two others prime their grenades and throw them. The distinctive click and the yells of surprise, would give the team a good heads up of who would quickly be dead.

Marci moved closer up front near Allard, "Is there a fridge running down there or what?" she asked still hearing the hum.

Normally the droid could have taken one frag grenade and still keep going no problems, due to it's heavier armor and that frag grenades really aren't that great but each time it would take more and more of a toll on the chassis. With the effect of the grenades, the Enforcer would be non-functional and destroyed. The other mooks were crammed down a hallway with no other cover with a door behind them, they really didn't have much time to react to already primed grenades. They would explode before they could really do anything to help themselves. With the way cleared, the Crimson Dawn's leader only line of defense (besides the safe room door) is broken and is now left to the mercy of Allard's group.

...

That wasn't a fridge...

Allard stepped down into the corridor, blaster still up, as the explosions rocked the area. With them done, he felt confident enough to step down... and he immediately saw the corpses of two terrorists and a large droid he'd never seen before. He looked at them for a long moment - before shooting another shot into each of them, just to make sure.

That droid looked massive and he was NOT taking chances with this thing!

Nodding to the others, Allard burst into the room ahead with his blaster up. Spotting the terrorist leader, and recognising him by the picture he had gotten with the information, Allard didn't hesitate.

He shot the man three times in the chest and twice in the head - not stopping even when it was clear the man was likely already dead.

Maybe some day he would feel bad about it?

Not today though.

Today he just let out a sigh of relief and sat down heavily at a table.

"It's done..."
