The Life Day celebration on Kashyyyk had come and gone. In Covax's mind in wasn't as fun at it had been in years prior, but he wasn't getting shot at and it wasn't the snow covered adventure he had recently was a young platinum blonde on Ando Prime. So naturally, it was back to work as usual. To that end, the senior Apex contractor was spending some time at the company's training facility on Yinchorr.

Covax's conversation with Arla had the CEO's intended affect. To pull the human's head out of his mire of his losses and get him back in the game. She had also given him a job. One that had the potential to put Apex literally on the map. Because of this, he was not only brushing up on all of his skills, but building an alibi for his activities. Should others get the idea to look later on.

[Aden Archer]

Arrived to Yinchorr not too long ago, traveling swiftly via the Peregrine, his trusty and super-fast starfighter. Having landed at a landing pad at the training facility he would then set out and look for Covax, who he is supposed to meet. Aden and Covax have quite a bit of history with each other, it would be nice to work with him again.

Aden couldn't help but take in the architecture. Apparently this used to used to train stormtroopers and Imperial officers back in the day. Not only that, but Emperor Palpatine's Royal Guard. Apex has done well to get a hold of this piece of real estate.

Now to find Covax. Maybe he is working off some rust.

After spending some time getting to the actual training grounds, he would arrive. He wasn't one for the desert air but he would manage. But he would find Covax. "Yo." the spacer aimed to get his attention. "What's going on?" he would smile as he would casually ask.

In the time Covax was "waiting" for his pilot friend to finally arrive. The human merc managed to do a short work out, a five mile run around the perimeter of the training facility, and even got a sparing match in. "Not bad." He mused, only to himself.

When Aden did finally appear, Covax was finishing his second run through the "shoot house" Which in fact was a small arena that could be made to simulate a myriad of locals, from spaceships corridors to prison cell blocks.

When Aden called out, Covax gave him a wave. Then gave the range officer the signal to end the training, before coming over to see his old friend. "I got tired of waiting, so I figured I'd get some reps in." He admitted.

At the next question, Covax gave a coy smile back to his friend. Then gave a nod in a direction away from the other contractors. When the imposing human thought they were far enough away from others, he spoke up. "It's been a while Aden, how you been?" Covax started warmly.

"Good. Good. Traffic was awful today." the ace pilot spacer joked, blowing off him leaving Covax to wait so long.

Now the important question, how has Aden been. Well, he's been doing about the same stuff as usual. Doing some jobs here and there, participating for Apex, and then watching a whole world get burned to cinders before his eyes, again. "Doing good, doing the usual stuff" he said as if it was no big deal. "I take it you are doing good now that you are getting back in the game?" he said warmly as well to the other Senior Contractor.

There would be some silenced and Aden noticed that they are well away from anyone else. He could stay and converse all day with his friend, but he knows he was called here for more than catching up.

Covax gave the ace pilot an actual chuckle at the little joke. The human mercenary didn't remember his friend and one time employee having a sense of humor. Apparently he'd come out of his shell while Covax was locked away.

The two of them continued to walk in the general direction of the far end of the facility. Covax was trying for something of casual conversation, but neither man was very good at it. They were men of action more so then words. "I heard you were tapped by the Grand Marshall for that Ape home world job." Covax confirm in respect. It was no small thing for powerful faction leaders to personally request a particular merc for their particular skill set. "Messy business, but I bet that bonus was nice."

At the ace pilot's question, "Yeah, you could say that." Covax said with some amusement. "That's part of why you're here actually. Arla's put me in charge of an operation." He human said flatly as they continued to walk. Soon enough the pair would end up in a hanger filled with cheap Star Hopper class ships. Cheap infiltration vessels to be discarded, perfect for the job Covax had in mind.

"We need to steal a Hutt Cartel ship. One you think would be ideal for a heist, it has to be from a Hutt controlled world, and the ship ID needs to confirm it's Cartel ownership."

"Indeed." Aden remembers when he was with Empress Andruil's fleet to bombard Kashyyyk. It was something, although it wasn't bombarded wholesale it still caused lots of destructions and killed many wookies. But when he had a front-row seat for Korda Six. The Imperial Fleet didn't do any half measures in reducing that planet to cinders and everything on it along with. It wasn't something Aden necessarily wanted to see but he will be fine.

The bonus is nice indeed.

Aden will probably forget it about it maybe a few months time. Whenever the spacer isn't being tasked, he has taken well to the high life on the Galactica.

"Oh?" he said with interest. "What is the heist for?" depending on what they are going to steal, they would need a ship suitable. Obtaining a suitable Cartel ship could be a trivial task or something harder depending on what it is.
