• Duncan is rather tall for his age, though some say he may stop growing. He stands at 6'1" tall (1.85m) and is a slender 175lbs (79kg). His face has begun to show some signs of sprouting hair, though he regularly shaves it down. However the mop on his head is another story, the long dark brown hair nearly stretches down to his shoulders but is well groomed and taken care of. When it is not freely falling he pulls it back into a ponytail, but this is rare to see. His eyes glow a radiant blue like that of a natural spring that has frozen over. In his short life he's never seen another's eyes that glow quite like his own, but there is little he has seen outside of Jedha.
• Duncan Kincaid was never supposed to be in the eyes and suggestions of those closest to his parents. His father a former Jedi Master within the very order Duncan finds himself in today. His mother however, was quite the opposite; a darksider as the Jedi had come to call them. It was not that she was evil, but that her own emotions were her greatest enemy and his father knew this from the very start. It was in their passion that a child was meant to be, and the Jedi Master could not risk his child falling into the wrong hands. When Duncan was born instead of slipping into exile as had been planned, the boy was instead shuttled to Jedha in hopes of keeping him away from the Darkside's influence.
  
  It is was on Jedha that Duncan grew into the person and Jedi seen today. It was under the tutelage of Jedi Master Ki-Ro Ootan that Duncan received his training. For almost a decade and a half he was a pupil to the elder Jedi; whom was one of the oldest and wisest within the Order. It was from Ki-Ro that Duncan sparred with lightsaber daily and garnered the tutelage of the Force. In his youth Ki-Ro had been a Crusader, and it was something the Jedi Master had hoped Duncan would follow him in one day. It wasn't long after Duncan was Knighted that the elder Jedi become one with the Force and a figure forever in the younger Jedi's life was gone. Searching for his own path in the Universe Duncan finds himself shaping into the Jedi he set out for since day one, forever hoping Master Ootan would be proud.
  
  
• Duncan is a person of few words unless he has a connection with the person. He has been warned about his passions or emotions fueling him at times, but tries to be aware of those feelings. He would rather work alone than in a group, but is happy to assist if necessary.
  At the surface one would expect him to be serious and hyper-focused, but he is quite laid back and care free. He is known to crack a joke when the opportunity presents itself, but too often his introversion keeps comments to himself. He is easy to give trust, but does not as easily forgive if it is broken.
• The Force- Duncan has a strong understanding of the Force despite his age. He has a strong connection to the living Force and feels he is at his best when he allows it to 'flow' through him.
  
  Lightsaber Combat - Duncan has learned to use a lightsaber since being a youngling and is perhaps his strongest skill. He has grown in the use of a single blade and now uses a staff Lightsaber. It is his connection to the living Force that enhances his abilities with the blade; but a skill that his trainers have taken notice in.
