I have a few friends I run with off and on Imp side, but no guild- I've flirted with blood bath and beyond a time or two...not opposed to making one though.

I just started recently playing a Jedi Knight, because Jedi Consular was boring me. For those who played the Jedi Knight class, when it was time to go to the Jedi Temple, did Kira Carsen disappear as your companion? It's ****ing impossible to get through this without a companion.

yeah she's a pain sometimes...stupid ginger. Thankfully however because of my pureblood, I can now slap kira by using the punish emote ^_^


biggest tip when using a knight..... live by your gear/artifacts/implants etc...knights are very squishy and need to have their gear in top form at all times.... Getting Doc will ease things a bit, but he's not about until balmorra

You should be able to call in your other companion when Kira leaves (as long as you aren't in combat). It also occurs to me that she might have "left" but you can call her again.

I can't deny that my Sentinel is extremely squishy, especially since I refer the team combination with Kira as the glass cannon squad. Even so in normal solo play, I have nearly no problems. I've had a good healer with Heroic quests, so I don't know if it is the gear or not.

I still run Kira even with the healer option, because I know if I do some stupid force jump up or down a two story building she'll join me.

Go to the companions menu. There should be a button next to Kira that allows you to recall her. Click it and she will leave your party. Click it again and she will appear right next to you. Hope this helps!

using one of the two nodes circled will bring up the crew skills and allow you to summon, or re summon....

If your still on the Temple on Coruscant I know there are times Kira comes and goes as a guest- but it's been so long I don't remember EXACTLY whats going on at that point.


and remember your a knight to so when gearing load up on strength - Endurance as your main stats and then surge or critical as a secondary- that will go a long way in keeping you as un squishy as possible
