DESCRIPTION​

The ECM Medical Backpack was constructed for maximum benefit. War time field medics added part by part for years till what the current model seen. Each addition was needed to expedite the patch and move of the injured or dying to medical centers with the lowest loss of life.

One field medic and his medic droid was in combat hot zone. The medic's droid was hit by enemy fire quickly thinking the medic wired his droid's head to a power source so that he could continue to heal the injured. Wearing it as a backpack in a satchel with his other gear made it easier for the field medic to perform his duties. From there the need of a computerized medical pack with diagnostic equipment was first thought of.

Coolant storage compartments hold the various medicines at the proper temp for max life of such things as anesthetics, anti-venom,anti-radiation. A blood pressure regulators contained within dispense medicine via the cuff.

The diagnostic scanner is the latest in determining vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse rate, pulse oximeter to check blood oxygen saturation. A built in biochemical analyzer can quickly break down samples to base line chemicals. Which allow for tests included enzyme levels (such as many of the liver function tests), ion levels (e.g. sodium and potassium, and other tell-tale chemicals (such as glucose, serum albumin, or creatinine).

A built in medical library with down loadable content on hand to treatment for any layman. Easy to read with diaphragms help the user to procedure.

Equipment housed within are a new gen laser scalpel. A continuous blood flow filter is also equipped for better patient care and blood salvage due to blood loss.

The sterilized pressure bandages help with the wound acceleration along with cast socks for protection of wounds. Cast socks are to be lightly soaked to activate chemical compounds to started the hardening process(process produces mild heating). The standard heat-insulating blanket will keep the patient warm for proper tempter control.

Air filter mask with oxygen concentrator built in helps with blood oxygen saturation and cleans air from current environment. Air filters of system are UV and mat cartridge(which can be removed and replaced.

Portable cable litter with a 400lb weight limit. The little can be either attached to bottom pack hooks or by hand for use. Rolled litter is stored strapped to bottom most of pack at the hooks to allow for maximum storage.

Field medical need during war, peace for remote medical events. The use of said gear is to stabilize a unit till transport arrives. All contents will be found in any medical med pack but in greater amounts and better quality. The diagnostics have proved vital in the field where most rolling models and medical droid can not go. Miscellaneous compartments for specialized equipment or hand tools, I.E. surgeon's tools, thread, etc. Only certified medical technicians would be able to get the most from this high level equipment. This is not just a first aid pack.

Also of note, the item you seem to be trying to replicate here is, 1, part of Legends canon, and 2, belongs to a time period far in the future. The era when this RP is taking place is around 7,000 years before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope; this item is mundane enough that the time period isn't likely to be a problem, but please bear this in mind for any future tech submissions.

I'm not a tech mod or anything, but the submission is entirely copy and pasted (save for the intent) from the wookie. I would really like to see something original. It can be based on the thing, but copy and pasting seems like the low-road to me.

And I'm pretty sure we have rules against that anyway.

Plus legality and advanced tech fields are missing from the template.

The equipment here is low ball gear anyway just higher than a standard med pack any solider would have or would be found on any ship/transport vehicle. I really didn't know if it was necessary or just saying a medical bag for a Field surgeon would need approval. I not really good at the little details of this that should be basic gear for any medical surgeon.

If it still does not work then I shall let it go and go on with out this basic item.

Much better, but still some work left I'm afraid.

I'd really like to see something more original than just a copy-paste from Wookieepedia, which I'm sorry, but this plainly is. I want a bit of lore to this thing. I'd like at least a couple sentences describing each of its functions, not just a list of them. I want to know more about the company that makes it (the one you've listed is no longer canon, so you're going to have to either make a new one up or write up some new lore for the old one here).
Make this thing stand out as more than a generic crisis med-pack.
Also, the dimensions are going to have to be in meters. We use metric 'round these parts.

One other thing, you don't need to restrict this to medical personnel only. If this is truly a standard thing found everywhere, then it wouldn't make sense to have its use be illegal for someone who has to use it in a pinch but doesn't have medical training.
