Name: Ejani Adenn
Race: Mandalorian, Human
Gender: Male
Age: 29
Faction: Exchange
Rank: Enforcer
Force sensitive: N/A

Appearance: Ejani's what you'd call ruggedly handsome, years of being a gun for hire will do that to a man. He's does his best to make himself at least presentable, but with his habit of wearing a helmet it usually doesn't matter. His eyes are bluish green, with a sharp gaze from years of staring down a rifle sight. He has tanned caucasian skin, and a rugged world-weary look about him. His weight of 183lbs and height 6"3' make him a pretty imposing figure. There's a scar on the bridge of his nose from a nasty bar fight, and another running from his ear to the edge of his. This time a contract had gotten a little out of hand. He's well muscled from his training and job, and walks with an air of confidence about him.

Attributes:

Strength
- 7/10 Ejani knows his way around combat and is used to holding heavy weapons but he's far from superhuman.

Dexterity- 4/10 Trained to withstand blows like a warrior not dodge them.

Intelligence- 6/10 Not the brightest bulb in the bunch but not the dullest either.

Wisdom- 8/10 Living in the Outer Rim makes sure you learn your street smarts fast.

Charisma- 6/10 Good judge of people just doesn't know when to say the right thing

Health- Looks strong enough to tear the ears off a Gundark, he can take a punch and send it right back at you. He's not afraid to take a little damage.

Stamina- Average endurance, can run for a little while in his armor but not for long amounts of time. Can only go so long without sleep before it starts to affect him.

Personality: Ejani really only respects you if you either prove yourself in battle or are able to drink him under the table. The matters of religion, politics or any other topic that doesn't involve combat, drinking, or credits is just white noise to him. Has a habit of leaving his helmet on, and often forgets this when he's drinking or eating leading to some messy outcomes. There are three things he lives for the hum of energy from a blaster, the clinking sound of credits hitting his hand (Or the floor if the contractor didn't pay enough) and drinking himself nearly into a stupor (he knows some moderation) after a job well done or if he's just bored. Ejani really only feels at home in seedy cantinas or in the vast metropolitan jungle of cities. During a contract only two things gain importance over all else the hunt, and the payout.

To Ejani most of life's problems can be solved with a well aimed shot or credits and maybe a punch or two. He's not saying violence is the answer he's just saying its an answer, that can solve many problems. Ejani isn't cold hearted, he knows the difference between cold-hearted murder and and a well payed contract. He doesn't kill unless he's in danger or the pay is good. He can be a rational thinker sometimes but when in a heated situation or angry he tends to make on the fly and rash decisions, without thinking of the consequences.

Skills: Excellent Marksman from years as a bounty hunter and teachings from his father. Piloting is not the best but in a life or death situation he could make the crash landing a little less crashy. Hand to hand is better than most, years of martial training and sparring has kept his unarmed technique deadly. Knows the Mando'a language as well as Basic, for other languages he needs a translator. Little knowledge in the medical field, can stop bleeding and mend a broken bone but that's about it. He has experience with blades but he's far from a master, however if a situation proves dire enough he can prove to be a deadly opponent.

Biography: Most people have a comfortable childhood and don't have to worry about anything. The same can't be said for Ejani, he was born a Mandalorian and his clan kept close to their warrior roots. He grew up on his Clans land surrounded by family and those who swore their allegiance to Clan Adenn. He spent the first few years of his life playing with the other children unaware of what being born a Mandalorian meant. You could say his childhood ended when his training began. As it was in his Clans tradition he started his training at the age of eight, sparring with fellow children and learning the art of war. He went on hunting trips with his father as well, this is where he learned his skill with a rifle was born. His mother trained him as well, but in the means of close quarters combat, as it was here saying This all ended abruptly when Trandoshan Slavers hired by a rival clan attacked in the night leaving most dead, in the end only Ejani and his mother were left. Watching as their once prosperous estate burned into ash. His father was killed in the fray as he got them to their families only remaining ship. They left Mandalore behind, his mother was an off worlder and had no clan to seek shelter with.

For the next few years Ejani and his mother moved about the outer rim with his mother working odd jobs to keep them afloat. All that had inherited from his clan was a simple necklace with the fangs of creatures his father had hunted, and his fathers Mandalorian armor and rifle. He had to grow up even faster now, the bills weren't going to get paid by him sitting around. So he decided to put his training to use, and sought out his first job. He took his first contract when he was fifteen, they needed the money and his mothers odd-jobs weren't paying enough. His first target was just a junkie who had missed out on his payments to a local Crime lord, barely took him five hours before he returned to the crime lord with the guys head. He kept on with his contracts using his armor and training to easily climb the ranks of the Outer rim bounty hunters. At nineteen he left home with only his weapons, the clothes and armor on his back, and the credits he had earned from his small contracts. He left with a feeling of determination, and with a final promise that clan Adenn would rise again supported by the bodies of those that had once betrayed them.

A good start! You can always flesh more out in the biography. I had a few questions: Why did his mother take them to Coruscant? She surely would have had an extensive Mandalorian network she could have gone to. I'd like to hear also why he left his home at 19, leaving a mother who provided for him. Did she ask him to leave? Was she able to take care of herself? You mentioned that he had to work to support the family, so what changed?

Also, beef this dude up a little bit. Your tone of writing (and stats that say he's super strong but not so dexterous) insinuate that he's kind of a tank. But he's only ~150 pounds! Beef him up. I'd say around 170-185.

Well I was going for that his small stature kinda hides his strength. Fixed the Coruscant confusion, he now just moved about the outer rim

Overall, i like this character. Seems like he has a decent background, and it kinda reminds me of the backstory of one of my old Mandalorian characters ages ago, on an rp site far far away...

The only critique I really have is this: Before the new canon, Mandalorians were a people, but they also represented a greater culture other species could adopt. So I feel there is a lot of potential with this character to explore him coming to terms with that culture. I assume he's a human from Mandalore, as that is kinda what the new canon lends itself to. In legends, other species could adopt the Mandalorian culture. So it may warrant some clarification.

Aside from that, i think he would be a very nice addition to the Exchange.

Approved!

Thanks man! Its always good to hear from people, anyways I'm continuing to flesh out his biography (expanding it and such) and the culture is something I'm hoping to get right.
