BIOGRAPHY
Electra Olimpia of House Juvexia, born as Electra Olimpia Sappho, is the younger twin sister to Galateia Sappho. The younger twin is the current matriarch of House Juvexia.
Originating from moderate nobility, the Sappho family established their wealthy lineage within the mining industry; in later years, focus would shift towards the specific finding of precious materials such as gems and jewels. During the time of their birth, the twins were among the richest heiresses in the Tion sector. Raised in the lap of luxury and decadence, Electra and her sister wanted for naught. As with all wealth, there came greed. Conflict arose and Electra’s parents fell victim to the machinations of a nefarious uncle; their demise was nothing short of murder. Electra and Galateia became the orphaned heiresses and were utterly at the mercy of their uncle and his ambitious devices.
Angered by her disobedience, the twins’ uncle threatened to exile the eldest Sappho daughter. Despite their youth, the sisters successfully launched a coup d'etat against their uncle, and once more claimed their rightful place within the family.
Electra’s marriage to the King of Juvexia was advantageous and it provided the family with much influence and prestige due to his ancient name, resulting in their relocation to the Juvexian sector. Despite being the elder of the twins, her sister Galateia opts to take the role of Electra’s doppelgänger and handmaiden. The sisters have been rather successful in maintaining this singular identity. Married at a relatively young age, Electra was forced to start bearing children for the King, a task she only reluctantly fulfilled to ensure her family's wealth and influence.
Personality
Electra has played the game of politics and intrigues long enough to know exactly how to place her words and how to act accordingly. Her narcissistic tendencies are matched with her cruelty and she has absolutely no intention of showing mercy to her subjects. She a cold, unloving woman, yet unrelentlessly ambitious and strong willed. She sees the preservation of her family's name as a duty, yet she has almost no love and affection to spare for the children she never wanted. Her uncle has taught her that humanity is cruel and so she has picked up almost paranoid tendencies that resulted in her love for poisons. She never leaves her chambers without carrying at least one of her pieces of venomous and potentially deadly jewellery and she trusts no one. Her smiles are deceitful and she can be perceived as mostly ruthless, although hidden from the public's eyes she can at least show attention to some extent, as her sister knows best.
