DESCRIPTION​

A musical instrument derived from the musical instruments of the past. Six strings of pure noise, fame, and fortune. In the right hands, a true sorcerer of sound and magic. Musicians throughout the galaxy have used these to great effect in their concerts, as well as many amateur players looking to go pro. With the right knowledge, the power is yours. Legendary riffs await. Various manufacturers produce various shapes, sizes, and styles for guitars, it all is based on personal preference. The strings are yours. What are you going to do with them?

LEGALITY​

Legal unless your planet prohibits noise. That, or your neighbors really don't like the music you feel like playing.

INTENT​

This is literally an electric guitar in the real world, Star Wars-ified to allow for social displays of your character's terrible skills, or perhaps a band of hard-rocking musicians screaming through the cosmos. I made these specifically for those 'Oh yeah? But can you do this?' moments in your stories. Plus, I mean I haven't seen an instrument in Star Wars lore resembling an electric guitar, at least not closely. What could go wrong? (I guess you could just say you have a guitar, but that's boring!)

ADVANCED TECH​

NO. You aren't going to need to know quantum physics, but a few lessons would be advised so you don't sound like a wampa choking on a bone.

Musical instruments with no additional utility easily fall into the non-banned canon items category of generitech if you really want a write up. That said, straight ports of real world instruments are lazy and out of place. I'd like to see people do better.

Might I suggest a seven-string hallisket? Or maybe the classic jizz box? There's plenty of options to choose from.
