Taking a sharp right as she paced her way through the interlinking maze of corridors that made up the internal layout of the ancient Jedi Temple, the fiery haired Jedi Knight had only recently returned to the Holy City of Jedha's desert moon, after a prolonged stretch of what effectively been little more than haplessly wandering the galaxy. She had been back within the temple for perhaps no longer than a week, but within that time she couldn't really attest to having done much, baring having dyed her hair back to the fiery mix of orange and yellow hues, a move away from the bright cyan hair colouring she had carried for the initial months since her knighthood. The youth's bright emerald hued eyes panned around her ever changing surroundings, it seemed like an age since she had been one of the first few Jedi to have set foot within the temple in almost half a millennium.

The once ruined structure had started to return to what she had believed to be the Temple in it's past glory, a testament to the combined efforts of; the Jedi, the Maintenance crews of the Galactic alliance and not to mention the Guardians of the Whils. Periodically she would find herself coming to a standstill to inspect the installation of one of the wall mounted console units, her inner mechanic pulling her attention away from her impending meeting to carry out a impromtu spot of repair work.

After a brief stop, the young Jedi knight sighed as she clocked the time being displayed on the screen's chronometer, fortunately she wasn't running late. But the time she wanted to afford herself to prepare had been cut short, Eisa had received a message from the somewhat adhoc Jedi Council that had been formed in the wake of original five Jedi masters that had emerged being drastically cut short down to one master and a handful of Knights who had stepped forward to take up the mantle. The message carried the details of a Force Sensitive rebel, who had been marked as a potential candidate for training in the Path of the Jedi. A male who was a few years older than her, who went by the name of Harkam Gant. Something that at first the young Jedi did have to wonder the reasoning behind the assignment for her to take on and train a Padawan learner, but the realisation that the Order needed to grow swiftly set in, and not that as being a reason to stop her from wandering off again. Then again both were important reasons, especially since how the climate of the Galaxy had shifted in her absence.

As she made her way towards the courtyard, where it had been arranged for her to meet her padawan, Eisa could not help but notice that a fair few heads turned in her direction as she walked past, either down to the fact that some Jedi were not yet aware that she had returned back to Jedha, or because of her bright fiery locks of hair. Despite the bright and colourful hues not being fitting of a Jedi, the robes that she wore made few question whether she was a Jedi or not. Clad in a mixture of a black form fitting under-suit and brown leather armour pieces, all of which covered by a long flowing white hooded cloak that hung loosely over her slight frame. Stepping out into the courtyard, unflinching towards the somewhat dry and cold climate that wrapped around the desert moon. Eisa cast her bright emerald hued gaze around the gathered faces within the courtyard, it seemed that the prospective Padawan was still to arrive. Stopping momentarily so that she could examine a small wilting plant that had caught her eye, casually she allowed the Force to flow through her as she caressed the leaf and blossom of the plant, her fingers taking in the soft silken texture of the plant and allowing the energies to reinvigorate the weakening plant.

Turning away from the plant, the young Jedi Knight continued to make her way towards where she had arranged to meet her new Padawan, Eisa set down a leather back upon a boulder before effortlessly springing atop the rock and sitting down, being sure to adjust the two lightsabers that hung from the clips on her belt to ensure they didn't get twisted up in her robes. Pursing her lips in thought the young Knight fell into a moment of contemplation as she thought back to the day that she had constructed her two weapons, the pride that she had felt having taken that step in her training not to mention the responsibility that soon rested upon her shoulders. Deep down she hoped to be able to live up to that responsibility, to do her best in training one of the newest members of the Jedi Order. Perhaps time would tell.

Harkam was annoyed, quite frankly annoyed. He was supposed to be up there with the rebel fleet, working his way to becoming a bridge officer and actually involved in the fight. Kriff! They'd lost his homeworld of Tatooine and his adopted homeworld of Naboo and all in a fortnight for precautionary evacuations. And now? Now they tell him he's Force sensitive so he isn't going to be on the fleet at all for some time, but he's to be relocated to the Jedi Temple on Jedha for some Jedi training. Karking bantha! Couldn't they just do this while enroute to liberate an oppressed world? There were still hundreds of those in dozens of systems.

In bad spirits, therefore, Harkam marched through the temple wearing his trooper armor, helmet omitted, with his pistol holstered and the vibro-blade likewise on the other leg. He was busy reminding himself that all the setbacks of Commander Ion's campaign where due to the Jedi not following orders and the reluctance of joining the Force cult grew larger and larger as he came closer to the courtyard.

Ofcourse, as any single military-aged male who allowed his mind to be ruled by emotion, which is why he joined this so-far-unsuccessful rebellion in the first place, he stopped and forgot all about his frustrations when he arrived at the courtyard and saw a pretty red-haired young woman. Naturally he only noticed the jedi-like white robes about two seconds later and the hope grew that this girl was to be his master. Then again, his frustration retook some ground, she was awfully young, most likely younger than himself, so what could she teach him that he didn't know already?

Well, jedi hocus-pocus obviously. "Ahem-" Harkam announced himself to the Jedi, "-I'm looking for master Swan?"

Amidst her waiting, the young Jedi Knight opted to close her eyes and allow her senses and mind to reach out into the Force. Feeling and observing the various movements of those around her within the Temple, it as an invigorating sensation that she had not felt in a short while, to feel the Force flowing so peacefully and naturally like the soft rippling current of a steady stream. That was until the currents of the Force started to crash about in a wake that followed the movements of an individual that appeared to be drawing closer to the courtyard area. Whomever this person was, it was clear to the Jedi Knight that there was a deeply routed frustration residing within their core. The relaxed facial expression on the fiery haired knights face slowly contorted into a look of thought, as she pondered the reasoning for this stranger's emotional unrest.

Although it seemed that she would soon find out the source and possibly the reasoning for herself as the figure approached, his movements and form visible as a shimmering light through the Jedi youth's Force sight. The currents of the Force that flow through him resonating with the deeply routed emotions within, and they were getting closer. The young Jedi's eyes slowly opened after the figure addressed her, bright emerald hued eyes looking up towards the man standing in front of her. From her seated position she could recognise the somewhat distinguished grizzled features of a man who has need little other than Conflict over his recent years, his weathered and tanned skin giving an indication that unlike her, he hailed from a world that possessed an unforgiving climate, if she were to hazard a guess, Tatooine.

A cheerful smile spread across the fiery haired Knight's features, as she initially nodded in acknowledgement to Harkon's words. "Ya found her.... well me" She responded with a light chuckle before springing up onto her feet and dropping down from the boulder onto the surrounding grass of the court yard. Standing in front of the man, she couldn't help but notice the clear difference in height between the two of them, he was a good head's height above her slight build. "Names Eisa" the knight spoke as she offered a hand out to the man who was perhaps just a few years older than her. "You must be Harkam right?" she continued as she cocked her head to the side inquisitively, before directing her gaze off to the side slightly and looking at a small patch of grass. "Come join me" the youth added as she gestured for the man to sit, before sitting cross legged down on the grass.

Not quite sure just what Harkam was expecting from his initial meeting with the Jedi Knight, Eisa figured that it was perhaps best to get to know and understand her prospective pupil better before she looked to teach him in the ways of the Jedi. The one thing that pressed on her mind was the emotions that radiated from him, it was clear that he was was still young in the ways of the Force and the Jedi teachings as it were. From what she had found out within the text that accompanied Harkam's file, was that his Force sensitivity was only recently discovered. Knowing from her own experience to find out something as life changing as that, well it was enough to turn one's entire life upside down. "So I understand you've only recently found out that you are sensitive to the Force right?" Eisa opened, her bright and cheerful expression still lingering over her features as she spoke. "Without wanting to sound like a shrink, how's ya coming to terms with such a bombshell? Its a bit of a mind Kriff ain't it?"

Kriff. Not only wasn't his master-to-be some old sage he could look up to, but this girl was just that, a girly girl. Chuckles and jumping around seemed to be her thing like it had been his twenty years ago. Harkam's heart sank. This was going to be a long day.

Sitting down next to her on the patch of grass, he looked uncomfortable to say the least. "If only it had been a bombshell-" Harkam muttered, "-you have any idea how the men and women I fought with look at me now?" Instead of a battle-buddy whose back they'd have he was now regarded as the Jedi that would always watch theirs on top of his own. As if he was suddenly invincible despite knowing kriff all of the Force or how to use it.

Once again he looked at Eisa, "What am I saying-" he shook his head and uncrossed his legs, showing that he wasn't going to take whatever lesson she had in mind seriously. "-you've never been one of us-" he paused, a sour expression took hold, "-one of them."

The cheerful smile across the young Jedi knights features softened as her potential padawan muttered, countering the bombshell comment with questioning her as to having an idea of how his comrades regarded him since being outed as a force sensitive. Eisas brow furrowed in thought as she reflected on his initial statement, before frowning as Harkam proceeded to declare that she wouldnt understand, never having been one of the rank and file of the Galactic alliances numbers. A sigh escaped the Fiery haired Jedis lips, the comment or outburst had struck a nerve. Hurting her a little, although she was a relatively seasoned Jedi Knight she hadn't always been that way. Not in the beginning, but the sad recollection was for her that even during her first few years in the rebellion she had nagging doubts about her worth and contribution to the Galactic Aliiances efforts.

A series of clicking sounds emanating from the young Jedi Knight as she flexed her tongue in mid thought. "They would have felt betrayed possibly distrustful. Perhaps hurt because they felt that despite being their brother you were keeping it a secret from them?" Eisa spoke out, breaking the tense silence that fell between the pair. Slowly she ran a hand through her Fiery locks of dyed hair, her gaze falling to the side as another resigned sigh passed her lips." At least that was what I Experienced Harkam" she added after a moments silence before returning her attention to the slightly older man sat in front of her.

"I haven't always been a Jedi" Eisa softly stated before briefly trailing off. "I first joined the Galactic Alliance as a field engineer in my early teens... Later my call sign was Star Three, one of the first few members of star squadron and served as both mechanic and pilot until I was discovered by Master Reach" she continued offering a brief insight into her earlier years within the Rebellion. "Kriff I was awarded the medal of Initiation and medal of hourable service before I was even aware I was Force Sensitive. Being one of the first Padawans trained in secret, before the Jedis existence was even revealed to the Galaxy..." she added before trailing off in her explanation, figuring it would be best to avoid waffling on, knowing all to well she could ramble on until the banthas come home.

"I might not know what it is like to have been one of the guys in the thick of a firefight, so I can't truly know how they would react" Eisa spoke out as her gaze fell once again to the grass beneath her. "But I know what it is like to have carried the guilt of having to lie and conceal my abilities, keeping them a secret from my friends and fellow squad mates" she added, with a slight shrug to her shoulders. Whilst she may not have been a true fighter like Harkam, down and dirty in the trenches as it were. Not being able to appreciate just the impact the revelation has had on him, Eisa hoped that by her at least being as candid as possible with her past to her prospective padawan, Harkam might appreciate and understand that he's not the only one to have gone through such a life changing revelation.

"I might not have shared the same bond as you did with your comrades Harkam, but being a Jedi doesn't mean you have to cut all ties... If you would let me train you, I can show you how to use your gifts to protect those you care about and what you fight for"
