It began with lust. The first touch of another threw his discipline awry, as decades of a repressive ideology laid deconstructed around him. Why could he not satisfy his instinctual needs? Why could Jedi not create exceptional, well-learned children with a significant rolemodel to educate them in the Code? Why could one not love, and feel such things that in so many others supplied a sense of worth, fulfillment and meaning?

Elias never had that meaning. From the moment his force sensitivity was revealed, all was a matter of ethics and discipline. He did not enjoy the light side -- he frowned upon it, mired in its ways he found bureaucratic. As lessons intensified, so too did the feeling, until his loathing of the Order was compounded within him. He despised them - the Knights, the Masters, the distortion of the force that they came to worship.

And lust set that ablaze. His desire to engage with others, his desire to learn his meaning from one skin to another. But it was not the only sort of disarray. Anger came, and all manner of passion. The meditation and 'serenity' of taming one's own self did not appeal to him, and for all of his raw potential he could never satisfy the need to maul, maim and ignite. Elias had always been an unruly one - child or not, adult or not. He would've been a Padawan forever if not for the potential, and the promises, and the hope.

But as the Jedi Republic fractured, he became a splinter. He spoke openly and avidly against what he labeled as suppression, and within a fringe of scholars he sought to tear down the Republic. The society that he grew to resent was his obstacle - and his mission. Being subversive was his sole purpose.

Until he was inevitably reprimanded, and violently so. Both of his arms were taken from him, a Jedi consular sent out to claim his head. In the fallout of the Republic, the Order did not act so mercifully to those clearly their enemies - and Elias was hunted, defeated and exiled by a far superior man. His punishment was clear: he abandoned the Code by his lust, and so the senses were taken from his hands. From this, a self-loathing grew, and as he propelled himself through the fringes of space - an even more pervasive ideology began to form.

He accepted the dark side as his other half. He reveled in passion and anarchy, whenever it suited him. Tearing down the Republic became his sole goal, and by deceit he would pursue it to any end.

Despite his inherently hedonistic nature, one would not describe Elias as chaotic, or even volatile. Instead, one will find an incredibly meticulous and methodical individual, with an extreme sense of personal discipline, even in regards to liberties and pleasures, such as sensuality. What Elias covets so dearly is the freedom to choose - and when making his own choices, he is anything but prone to discord. It is for this reason that he favors the belief in anarchy, despite internally recognizing that most cannot control their impulses, and few communities could operate without a societal structure.

From this recognition comes his role as an educator, and a philosopher. Elias guides others in a philosophy known as Anarsynthesism, speaking of unification between the free individual, the force and the needs and provocations of the body. In all ways, he personifies this belief, and actively seeks to dismantle those around him who counteract his worldview. He is fiercely ideological and ironically authoritative, yet gracious to those who fall in line with his perceptions.

Polarized is an accurate defining word - Elias is polarized in his belief, and would polarize things further to acquire his political ends. He operates in a pernicious and subversive manner at all times, and freely admits his coercion of others to his ideas. In some ways, he is a con man - a suave, handsome face selling unattainable freedoms. He knows this, and enjoys it. Another word that could indefinitely be used as his descriptor would be, "self aware".

A bit harsh for the Jedi to do, but I can see some extremists doing it. Interesting concept, with an interesting philosophy; I look forward to seeing where things go. Approved.

Hey @Incubus, one quick note about Elias' possessions. Firstly, the Vagabond armour is actually tech from the old timeline, and therefore archived. You'll have to pick a new one (take a look at the Tech Compendium for a nice list). Don't forget that Force users can't use armour functions.
Secondly, if you make any cosmetic changes to the armour, you'll also have to post it as a re-skin in the Generitech board.
Thirdly, cybernetic replacements this TL can actually only be basic stuff. Due to how ancient tech is, prosthetics are not fancy or very equal to original limbs. High-tech and armoured arms unfortunately don't really fit that description, so you might want to edit.

Let me know once you've made the changes!

Edit: All fixed :D
