Few know where Elrath came from. Some say he came from beyond the galaxy. Others say he came from a planet, where his race was nearly put to extinction thanks to Industrialization. The few that can call upon him without fear of anger know the truth. However, I am not one of those people. Elrath is a mercenary, the likes of which has never been seen before, during, or since. He has strength that belies his slender form, he has weapons that have never been reproduced without causing death to a few scientists, and he is Force sensitive.
Elrath is noted for being able to sneak his way into any situation, regardless of the odds. And, he comes out of these missions without a scratch. The few survivors that I have met have told of his battle prowess. He dueled a gifted swordsman from Corellia, bested a Jedi, and utterly destroyed a gang on Nal Hutta with only a blade. They described the blade as such; it made a roaring sound that was accompanied by a whirring motion along the blades' length. It seemed as if it was made of little teeth, each sharper than a diamond drill bit. The Jedi I spoke with described that instead of passing through the blade as he expected, it resisted and stopped the lightsabers' swing. It can only be assumed that the blade is made of those alloys that Taung use in their armor and weapons, or some other material yet to be massed produced.
His helmet was also a weapon. Reports that tiny explosive darts fire from four small holes surrounding the base of the helmet are in all the survivors' tales. They would help protect Elrath from people attempting to sneak up and attack him, if he was focused with another bit of business. It seems that he was full of death. He also carried a pistol, one that spat out small, circular discs of death. They were similar to the shurikans used by ancients in battle. And worst of all his weapons, was his force sensitivity. The Jedi I met with spoke of when they first laid eyes upon each other:
"He was shifting the gears around of a machine built into the chambers of a smith on Alderaan. I had been sent to find and apprehend this person. Before I spoke, or even made a sound he turned around, and looked at me. Then I felt a force start to push onto my mind, delivering a message, "I have no quarrel with you Jedi, leave me be or die." However it was my duty to stop him from continuing. I lit my blade and advanced....."
Furthermore, it seems that he can control objects from a short distance away. One mercenary that he faced threw a grenade, and within a second it came flying back. His legs' were lost and he now resides in a medical facility on Coruscant. Elrath's abilities and weapons make him the most unusual assassin in history. His use of the Force, mixed with deadly skills with the blade, made him a formidable opponent and a strong ally.
