DESCRIPTION​

Many people suffer from accidents and injuries. Many of them happen on the battlefield and while some cease to fight even after getting a prosthetic some people ideally look to go back out there for more. Thus, MorataCorp's creation is an upgrade to the standardized cybernetics provided to victims of limb loss. It comes in partial and full limb replacement and are usually fitted to be tailor-made to the specific individual that has suffered the injury. It takes some getting used to but will ultimately perform to the same as the original appendage.

Unlike other high-end cybernetics, this model is crafted specifically for users in need of something hardy, and fit for combat readiness, but with the advantages of a high-end cybernetic. It can withstand Electro Magnetic Pulse weapons and Ion based attacks. It may be customized according to owner preference, however it cannot be modified to adapt to armor functions unless armor is applied over the limb. It is specifically tailored to its' user to compensate for strength and maneuverability previously compromised by losing the original limb, and under clothing is less obvious and more streamlined than mass production provides.

LEGALITY​

Legal, however its' manufacture is given on a case-by-case basis, patent pending for a swifter manufacturer's method to provide for the greater galaxy.

INTENT​

Intended for a writeup for numerous PCs suffering from limb loss, and to provide a better-quality prosthetic than the rough-and-ready variety seen throughout the galaxy. Intent to be put to use for future threads, and for a fun, colorful way for PCs to customize their own cybernetic limbs through RP.

RESTRICTIONS​

This is not common-seen tech yet. Since it is currently limited to MorataCorp, mass-production has not yet been acquired, however it will take a minimal of one thread interaction currently to have an upgrade beyond the basic cybernetic limb.
