At the rear of the main hall, you would take a right through the back door, past the kitchens the hall would meet a staircase, the staircase went up to the servants quarters. But down it went into the hill side, most thought it was the long term cold store, meats, fish, fresh produce would be kept here if not being used in the kitchen. Some knew that behind the back wall was the private wine cellar, only members of the family and top staff had access, but what fewer knew and even fewer had access to was what lay behind the wine cellar.

The private vault of the Wessex Family, as impressive as it sounded and as difficult as it was to find the vault itself was not much to behold. It had been built by Arotrigas' great-grandfather, expecting the rise of the family and that of the Galactic Empire to continue long into the future, how wrong it had been. The room had sat mostly empty baring a few precious stones and art which had been mostly sold over the last three decades to cover the estates expenses. But since Artorigas had taken over the family a little over a month ago, the room had come into use, it was here that the Sith Artefacts he had collected would be stored away from the prying eyes of his family and staff. Only himself and his Apprentice Malou had keys to the room and Malou's only activated if he had empowered the key within the last hour.

To one side of the vault upon a pedestal held open at a specific page was The Writings of Lord Andros, the first artefact he had collected and certainly not the last. He was slowly beginning to understand ur-Kittat, the Sith language, with the help of the Andros' spirit living inside of him. Though today that was not the object of his attention or concern, instead the large red pyramid, secured upon Ahch-to was what had him intrigued, The Dark Side of The Force flowed through it like nothing he had ever experienced, though around it a shell of Light Side energy kept its knowledge trapped. Though risen in rank and standing Artorigas' actual grasp of the Dark Side had only improved slightly, his guile and tact were his proffered weapons.

So he had sought outside help, the Sith had been fascinated since the first day he saw the mythical powers of Darth Andruil back on Makem Te and wished to know more about them. Though he knew the Queen of Dathomir would not give him much if anything and letting her know anything about his plan was dangerous she was to high above him, she could easily remove the plan from his grasp and use it herself. So instead he had reached out to another, one he had met briefly when he visited Darth Andruil on Dathromir...

Having been giving landing instructions, the old Lambda shuttle landed in the largest open area of the Wessex Estate. What seeming to be the landing pad or sorts. Or at the very least what was used as one during a recent social gathering that the young huntress willfully missed out on.

"We appear to have arrived." said the droid piloting the craft.

"Thank you Dasa. Please lower the ramp and stay with the ship. I will contact you if you are needed further." She told the droid coldly. As a Nightsister she did not trust outsiders not of her world. As a Sith, well she didn't trust them either. Not fully. However Artorigas had been a guest at the temple-palace and still had his head. So the young huntress would give him the same length of vine as her Queen.

As the ramp lowered at the rear of the shuttle, she followed the measured steps. She was wearing her Sith armor, complete with helmet and hooded cloak. The suit itself was skin tight and form fitting. She preferred this to the looseness of the more standard dark robes. It was also what she had warn during her brief encounter with noble Wessex, and she had seen no reason to be any more formal.

A servant of the family would greet the Nightsister at the main entrance to the castle, giving the women a polite bow as he did so. "Please follow me this was Miss." The tall human asked before turning on his heels and walking her towards the main hall. He would lead her past the dais were Artorigas' moderate throne sat, down the passage way past the kitchen and to the stairs were Artorigas stood.

"Thank you Ja'mi you can leave us now." The servant gave him a bow and another short one to Zara before making his way down the corridor and out of sight. "Thank you for coming, please follow me this way." He said with a smile before heading down the stairs behind him, into the cellar. He found the secret door which led to the wine cellar, using the number pad to gain entrance. Once within he shut the door behind them before heading to the wall which hid the vault. "Don't worry I brought you here for more than to just get you drunk." Artorigas said with a laugh before placing his hand on the wall. The brick lit up orange as a white line traced across it reading his palm. Then a second later a click and the wall began to move back away revealing the vault. "After you Zara."

Seeing the sight of a lowly servant was surprisingly comforting to the young huntress. It was something of normalcy from her own clan. She smiled from under the helmet and gave the man a slight nod before he turned and guided her toward Artorigas. The massive estate was beautiful and ornate. Not to her taste, but still aw impressive to see. However the throne of the castle seemed plane to her. Simple, lacking in same way.

Zara was confused suddenly as they past the throne area and continued toward, the kitchen ? Her irritations grew as did her imagination as to why she was being lead this way. But there the Sith stood suddenly, waiting for them expectantly. She followed again as he now continued to lead her. Joking as he opened a room within a room. "Why exactly am I here" she said replied. Only for him to open his arm and suggest she enter first.

Zara's attention however would quickly be pulled by the artifact with. The shadow flowed off it in waves. The feeling not unlike the bubbling pools of the waters back on her home. She could not help but ignore the man as she stepped toward it. Carefully of course.

Artorigas hoped that that viewing the object was all the explanation he needed and well he was right. As soon as the Dathmorian's eyes came to the artefact she seemed hooked and that would hopefully make his job a lot easier than if he had met her at the landing pad. "This is why I brought you here." He said pointing at the artefact, he closed the concealed door behind him so that no one could peak in. As the door sealed a low rumbling could be heard as the air recyclers began to kick in, the room was completely sealed from the outside, no one would take this from him.

"I found this on Ahch-to, guarded by some Jedi Master. The Force brought me to it, but for what yet I do not know." He continued rounding around the pedestal the pyramid sat upon until he was on the opposite side to her. "The Dark Side of The Force pours from it like a waterfall, I am not well accustomed to the old ways of The Force, I was hoping your Magicks could help." It was blunt but there was no need to beat around the bush now.

Zara hardly noticed his answer to her question, as she was also clearly drawn to the object. As the huntress stepped carefully close she gained a better view. It was not as she first suspected, a Sith holocron. Rather it was something all together different. An object, she could not name. How ever it appeared to be made of thick glass encased in metal and encased a rune covered stone. Written on the glass was etching, a map grid perhaps. Such writings were still so new to her.

The Dathomirian would remove the Sith helmet then. Setting it aside to that see make look with her own eyes at the object. "Anga nuyak eyes kia ziur Kam galeji buti aikstus." She would speak softly to herself. The color of her eyes a sudden brightly glowing green, while the pupil and white of her eyes burst black as the void of space itself.

Zara looked longingly now at the object. The shadow was indeed flowing from it, but more mist or steam eking out around a barrier of soft blue. She could feel as much as see with her magick that the shadow within was ready to burst forth. It had had only to be set free from the light. The green of her eyes faded then, returning to her natural color.

"The dark side, as you outsiders prefer to call it, is locked within. Sealed behind a barrier made of the light side. A powerful shaman of light, or perhaps a Jedi Lord placed some manner of protection spell a pawn it. It's old, but still in tact." She said speaking to the Sith. Her gaze still not leaving the object however.

He guessed something was up with the pyramid, even with his limited knowledge and power within the Dark Side of The Force he could tell something was not right with this artefact. But the knowledge that some form of Light Side sorcery was preventing them from fully accessing the pyramid was interesting. "Do you think it is something you would be able to break?"

It was the reason he brought Zara here in the first place so if she could not access it then it would be a pain, not only because he had to find someone new to help him, but it would leave a loose end that he really did not have the time to deal with. He rubbed the stubble growing on his chin, it was not a look he preferred but time had been a precious commodity over the past few weeks so physical appearances had to come second.

Hearing his question, she started to have way pace around the pedestal which the object rested on. Her eyes not leaving it, even as her brow would furrow, and her jaw started to set. It was possible, that much she knew. It was just a matter of of how. How could she break the barrier without damaging the artifact.

"You seem to lack ability of your own. Still you must have some ability to wield the....dark side, yes ?" Her tone sounded as thought she was mocking him. However the expression on her face looked more a curiosity. As if to measure him to see if he could be of some assistance. If he has nothing to offer she would have to think of something else.

It was a sensitive subject, not to his personal feelings but more to those around him. Artorigas was a Sith Marauder but he did not play to the usual song and dance of the Dark Side his compatriots loved. He was not completely devoid of its power and essence but he had not and will not fall to its endless darkness. "I play around some times, but it is not my true strength. Hence why I asked you here." He replied to the Dathmorian.

He was stood back a few paces giving the women space to move around the central pedestal, he watched her the Force or Magicks flowing from her through his minds eye. "I can lend you my power that is no issue."

Zara could feel a shift. Rather or not he thought the question did not affect his feelings, it clearly effected something within him. His answer was also very direct. She understood she was here because she was more capable, or at least more willing, to use the Shadow then he was. It was perhaps also why he was on her planet before. Perhaps hoping to find some secretes to how her and her sisters did not succumb to the Shadow as most others did.

"Very well" she said. Zara then stopped pacing, and stood close to the artifact. Almost hovering over it. With one hand she would call over Artorigas with a curling finger. While she called over the other Sith, she also started to say her the incantation again. Her eyes once again turning green.

When Artorigas got close enough, she would take his hand. Continuing to say the incantation she power. The Shadow Magick would then extend to the Sith. His eyes seeing as she did. The Shadow pushing at the barrier around the artifact and the small fishers in the barrier itself. If he bothered to look around a bit more he would also see the Shadow within Zara and within himself.

"Do you see the cracks in the barrier?" She asked him. "Focus your power on them, at least one." After giving him the instruction, she herself would find a crack. Pushing her will in into it, to shatter it.

She seemed satisfied with his answer which was good, though perhaps it would lead to more questions eventually down the line. Artorigas did as she asked and moved closer as her eyes lit up with the tell tale glow of the Dathmorian Magicks, it was truly fascinating to see in action, and if he was honest he was slightly jealous of it. He had heard tales of how powerful the magick was but with little to no Dark Side drawbacks, if he could harness something similar to this he would never have to worry about The Force again.

As he got within touching distance the women reached out and grabbed his hand, ok that was unexpected. Then his vision shifted, everything turning a hue of green, a jolt of fear shot through him for a second before he came to realise this was Zara's doing, her power, her magick. Within his newly found eyesight he could see the Light Side barrier around the object, it was fascinating to see.

Nodding at her instruction he took hold of a crack towards the top right hand side of the side facing him and began pouring his power into the crack trying to force it open with all his might.

The barrier place on the artifact was strong. Taking several long minutes of concentration by both Sith. Finally however, the barrier could take no more. The slight cracks would give way to larger ones, spider webbing cross the force shield like glass. Until all at once shield broke away. The effect which would release a rushing tide of dark energy that would suddenly fill the room.

Zara would be thrown back and knocked from her feet by the wave. Breaking the connection with Artorigas. Sudden images filled her mind of a location. Some kind of temple perhaps, and a thrown. As the wave of energy filled the room up, the faint sound of insidious laughter. The sound of which would give the young woman a chill down her spine. A feeling she had not felt since facing down a Rancor when she was old a child. The feeling did not sit well with her.

She shot to her feet and instinctively reached for her saber hilt, taking it in hand but not activating the blade. The wave would pass but the energy of the object was now thumping like a heart beat in the force/shadow. The chill still there in Zara's spine but the laugh was gone. she looked again to the object and could now see a tiny dot dancing around the glass. "By the shadow and the gods...." Zara whispered.

A tidal wave of energy erupted from the Pyramid as the light side seal was broken. Artorigas was thrown back, crashing into the wall near Lord Andros' Writings, just about keeping himself on his feet as he grabbed hold of small gap between the stones. His head was pounded from The Force backlash and his body felt like mush for a second as he slowly gathered himself.

Unlike Zara he saw no visions, nor heard no laughter, instead that dull beat, hum, rhythm that had lead him to this object grew louder. Like he just walked through the doors into a concert room. Artorigas took a step closer towards the pyramid when Zara jumped to her feet and drew her lightsaber hilt. Artorigas immediately reached for his own but did not draw it. "Drop your weapon Dathmorian." He said in a stern tone, if this women was going to try and take this from him she should have attacked whilst he was knocked down. Gritting his teeth Artorigas waited for her answer, ready to strike if she made the wrong move.

Zara suddenly looked to the human. Puzzled, and then irritated. Had he brought her here to unlock this object only to attempt to end her life after. Suddenly however, she realized she had the Sith weapon in her hand. She had instinctively gone to it first before her bow or her magick. She could not dwell on that now however.

"Easy, Human," she spat back. She returned her weapon to her belt, though if he did intend to continue with whatever his idea was, he found find she had no issue with her connection to the shadow. "I think we are only part way to your goal. This thing holds some kind of knowledge. Some place, perhaps." She said. Sounding confused. Her head still throbbed. The vision of those, whatever they were, now burned into her mind. "What did you find on that world with the object ?"

Zara was trying to move past the threat, and hopefully back into some manner of cooperation with the Sith. Not only to move beyond their little moment but because now she was genuinely interested in whatever this artifact was. She wanted to see that object for herself. Not just in a vision.

Artorigas relaxed his muscles and removed his hand from the hilt of his blade as returned her weapon and looked back towards the pyramid. He subconsciously moved around the pyramid so that he was between the Dathmorian and the door, even though he doubted it, his suspicious nature had come alive with the small exchange and now he was alert.

"Not much, It was within an old X-Wing, hidden beneath the waves. From the decay of the ship perhaps a century maybe more maybe less." He rubbed his chin, the light stubble scratching against his palm. "Though now the barrier is down, I feel its pull, the beat, the rhythm that brought me to it is even louder. We may only be part way there but its much closer, I can feel it."

He reached out to touch the pyramid, part of him was expecting something akin to when he met Lord Andros but no, it was cool to touch, his fingers ran along the engraved edges, across the small dots which looked like stars. Was it a map?

Zara took note of the fact that his hackles were still raised. She could not tell if this was just how most Sith were around one another or if this one was simply still thought that she would steal his toy. He appeared to lack the knowledge that she did not need the door at all. If she wanted to take the damn thing she could, and there would be little this man could do but swing his saber. Or so it appeared.

In any case she did not intend to take the object. There was something about this man and his artifact that perplexed her. She wanted to find out more about both. So she took a couple of steps back to further ease him of her proximity to the pyramid. She did not need to touch it anyway. It already had her attention, and likely her dreams for the next few days.

"An X-Wing?" She had little clue to what he was talking about. Ships were all the same to the sister, some just had more guns then others. "How was it found inside the ship, locked away, or connected some how ?" She thought of her droid Dasa, and other droids, they linked into ship systems. If the object was also linked in somehow, it was a path they could follow.

She backed away which eased some of the tensions from his shoulders and mind. His hands continued to glide across its surface as she spoke. Artorigas stopped trying to travel back through his mind to when he found the pyramid, it had been a split moment in time when he saw it. Originally he thought it was the X-Wing himself The Force had sent him to find, it was only when the Jedi had knocked him through the withered glass of the cockpit did he spot the pyramid and the beacon of his search.

"It was connected I believe." He could remember having to pull it free from the console but if it was just held there or wired in he could not say for certain. "Perhaps it was connected to the console, I am not sure. I only had a moment to get it before the Jedi tried to gut me."

Zara had done the hard part. She managed to break the spell that locked away the artifact. However this next step was a little out of her depth. Aside from the bits of tech she carried with her as a marauder of the Sith, she was not skilled at technology. Especially spacecraft. It's why she was issued Dasa.

"Perhaps you can connect it do another ship, or even a droid. It is the most logical next step. Unless you know of a place that may hold some knowledge of the object. I believe it holds some knowledge of a temple or ritual site of some kind. But how to get that knowledge is beyond my current ability."

What she said made sense, it seemed that the part out of his control had now been taken care of it was now all about the physical, technological side, one that Artorigas had both some experience in but if not had the financial capacity to resolve with little to no effort. "Thank you for your assistance." He replied giving the women a small bow of the head. "You have helped greatly, as promised if you need anything from me, be it now or in the future please do not hesitate to ask. If it within my power I will give."

The change in the Sith's body language told the Nightsister all she needed to know before the he spoke another word. She had opened the doorway and showed him the most likely path. Her services were no longer needed. She felt a little used, and thus slightly irritated. But it was a passing feeling.

"Yes, as we agreed. When and if the need arises, you'll be the first I call. Perhaps I'll stay for the party. If only to make an appearance. It is my understanding you've invited all withing the Order?" It was more a statement then a question. He did not need to answer if he didn't wish. Instead she would pause to allow him to use whatever secret button to release her from the room. Zara would give and nod of thanks and be on her way back to her ship.
