At the rear of the main hall, you would take a right through the back door, past the kitchens the hall would meet a staircase, the staircase went up to the servants quarters. But down it went into the hill side, most thought it was the long term cold store, meats, fish, fresh produce would be kept here if not being used in the kitchen. Some knew that behind the back wall was the private wine cellar, only members of the family and top staff had access, but what fewer knew and even fewer had access to was what lay behind the wine cellar.
The private vault of the Wessex Family, as impressive as it sounded and as difficult as it was to find the vault itself was not much to behold. It had been built by Arotrigas' great-grandfather, expecting the rise of the family and that of the Galactic Empire to continue long into the future, how wrong it had been. The room had sat mostly empty baring a few precious stones and art which had been mostly sold over the last three decades to cover the estates expenses. But since Artorigas had taken over the family a little over a month ago, the room had come into use, it was here that the Sith Artefacts he had collected would be stored away from the prying eyes of his family and staff. Only himself and his Apprentice Malou had keys to the room and Malou's only activated if he had empowered the key within the last hour.
To one side of the vault upon a pedestal held open at a specific page was The Writings of Lord Andros, the first artefact he had collected and certainly not the last. He was slowly beginning to understand ur-Kittat, the Sith language, with the help of the Andros' spirit living inside of him. Though today that was not the object of his attention or concern, instead the large red pyramid, secured upon Ahch-to was what had him intrigued, The Dark Side of The Force flowed through it like nothing he had ever experienced, though around it a shell of Light Side energy kept its knowledge trapped. Though risen in rank and standing Artorigas' actual grasp of the Dark Side had only improved slightly, his guile and tact were his proffered weapons.
So he had sought outside help, the Sith had been fascinated since the first day he saw the mythical powers of Darth Andruil back on Makem Te and wished to know more about them. Though he knew the Queen of Dathomir would not give him much if anything and letting her know anything about his plan was dangerous she was to high above him, she could easily remove the plan from his grasp and use it herself. So instead he had reached out to another, one he had met briefly when he visited Darth Andruil on Dathromir...
