Like every Sith he is ambitious, cunning, and cruel. What sets him apart is his calculating nature and above all else his patience. He is a man a few words and what words he uses are always calculated to a specific end. He displays a level of self-control that might deceive others of the deep black well of hatred, rage, and pain that boil within.

It is perhaps this unnatural calm demeanor in combination with the deep darkness within that strikes fear and aversion in those weaker than him. Despite this he can display an incredible ability for teamwork and loyalty. In some ways he embodies much of the Sith philosophy, in other ways he is divergent of it.

Eredin is a handsome young man, in the way that a ceremonial sword is handsome. The young Saruthi has sharp features that speak of noble blood. His black hair is often braided abd coiled against his head when in full Sith regalia.

His height gains him many advantages, two of the most obvious are a psychological advantage and a physical advantage. He is able to intimidate lesser minded people and when in combat, particularly in duels, his reach and the leverage his height gives him allows him to overwhelm most opponents.

Yet it is not his physical traits that mark the young man's potential. It is his mind. His intellect is what one could only describe as pure genius. He is capable of adapting to situations most would buckle under, and his creativity has been seen applied to a great deal of subjects. The young man possesses an eidetic memory.

His wisdom is beyond his years abd his willpower gives him an ironclad resistance to things that would break others. His training only enforced the natural traits, tempering him as a Sith. He is one of the rare few who understands his own potential and capitalizes on it.

Eredin is an adept lightsaber combatant focusing on foot work, blade control, and versatility. He makes for an impressive duelist when faced in one on one combat, using his versatility to maneuver himself into an advantageous position. His only experience with firearms is the defense against them, he finds them distasteful.

To handle larger engagements that poses the ever present threat of blaster fire, he will often reveal his ambidextrous nature in using two lightsabers. His techniques focuses on more aggressive and defensive measures when engaged against multiple targets that include blaster fire. His techniques become more fluid and reactive to multiple enemies.

His true focus has always been and will be in the many applications of the Dark Side. He is trained in the basic uses of the Force, such as telekinesis and augmentation of physical ability. When he delves into the Dark Side he shows his proficiency in energy manipulation, two of his most used are Force Lightning and Life Drain. He is proficient in the use of mental manipulation, though he combines it with a silver tongue to supplement it.

His obsession, however; is in Sith Magic. His main focus and his highest aptitude is in Sorcery and Alchemy. It is through these that he reaches deep into his potential and furthers his ability to acquire power.

Eredin has a high level of aptitude for technology, which is evident in his lightsaber customizations and the speed at which he can disassemble and understand various technological instruments. This makes him a highly valuable asset where repairing machinery and weaponry are involved.

Eredin was born to a Saruthi branch family, more or less as insurance to the Saruthi bloodline. In an amusing twist of fate, he was found to be strong with the force and before being sent to Korriban spent most if his early childhood learning the applications of the force and the basics of lightsaber combat. It was not long before he was sent off to delve deeper into the philosophy of the Sith and explore his potential.

He left a future of petty politics and false power for a life of what could only amount to hell as befitting of Korriban under the alias Rivan Shadowlight. His teachers were cruel and cowardly, fostering in him a deep hatred for any authority above him that did not meet his standards. While this is well hidden beneath a veneer of cold cunning, it is one of the greatest motivations in his search for knowledge and power.

As he grew so did his power and the darkness within him. While most Sith were openly brutal, he was reserved. When it came to fellow students who hindered, insulted, or otherwise got in his way they were dealt with privately. Many accidents befell students either maiming so thoroughly they were tossed from the academy, or they lost their lives. There has been nothing in the way of evidence to link him to these save for hushed whispers. His victims are often left near brain dead.

Politics are inescapable, something Eredin learned quickly as he trained on Korriban. They were just as petty as they were on his home, often to the point that they could be detrimental to the Sith. He became disillusioned with the furture of the Sith and their inability to see the bigger picture.
